Frankly, I try not to eat fast food, but sometime dire situations come forward. Like it being 2 am, and me being hungry. Ergo, I forget about my hatred for fast food and I head over to Del taco! It was fast getting our food, probably because it was leftover beans from that morning? Maybe? Probably. I got two ½ pound bean and cheese burritos. After I brought them home to eat it was clear that the food was old. The beans were really dry. I ended up just throwing it away and living with my hunger. Lesson learned, yet again, on fast food.

This fast food taco stand has impressed me over the multiple times I’ve been here. Service has always been friendly and at times, even fun. I made a meal out of Del Taco’s vegetarian burritos last night. You get two ½ pound burritos for $ 5.00. That’s a deal! With an order of fries and you are eating healthy! Except for the fat, salt and carbohydrates. But, this is Del Taco, when you come here, you’re looking for a tasty meal that doesn’t cost much and is served quickly with a smile. That’s exactly what I got and you should get the same too! Food was good as normal. It’s a chain restaurant, so it «should» be identical if you eat at this location or in Bishop, CA! They have a varied menu from tacos to burgers. Yes, they even have burgers. But, why would you want to have a burger when you come to a taco place? Sometimes, you just have to have a burger! The environment was fairly clean. The floors were swept and the tables didn’t have any cluttering garbage on them. I did say fairly and the reason why is one table was cleaned off of garbage but wasn’t wiped off and food residue was on it. Over all, I was pleased. Bottom Line — — — — — For a fast food place that is inexpensive, it’s good and yes, I will be coming back here.

They advertise 2 Churros for one dollar it is written plural the has a photo of two churros, I ask for my other churro and the manager Destyn comes to the window and says it’s not her fault the sign is misleading, I say it’s not I understand what I read and saw, they refuse to give me the churro then give me a corporate number that just goes to voice mail… I get my receipt it say«Churros» plural… I think they owe me a Churro and anyone else who places the same order, another example of poor management and false advertisement from another cheap reno restaurant.

10:51 pm on a Saturday night, and this place is closed. This is the location closest, so we are there about once a month. I am tired of hearing that they are out of regular iced tea because they don’t feel like making any more, and having to drive back around because at least one item is incorrect or missing. We are going to the Los Altos store from now on and letting corporate know that this store is not open when the website says they are.

Service here sucked! Took 18 minutes to get our order of a couple burritos and a few tacos. It was 4 in the after noon and no one in the lobby and a handful of cars in the drive-thru. Started to say something to the guy working there and he just said have a nice day… Twice. Dell beef was the only thing I ordered that was worth eating and I’ve had better Dell beefs before. 7 layer burrito was layered front to back instead of on top of itself. So instead of having 7 layers in one bite you got a layer in a bit. The rice only bite was discussing. Rice here was nasty. Tacos were not good either it was cheese and salad. Very little meat. The chess was three fingers deep. Just a tad much. Oh and the started wrapping the tacos before adding the pico since the pico was on top of the flap start and not on the taco. Do yourself a favor and skip this outfit

Worst Del taco I have ever been to. In the breakfast items, they don’t even scramble their eggs, which doesn’t give it the right consistency. Very disappointed.

I always get the same thing which I consider excellent. Three chicken soft tacos, medium fries and large cherry coke. I open the taco squirt in a Del Scorcho sauce add fries wrap and mow down on some nom nom’s! It’s not a 4 star restaurant so don’t expect perfection. They do a wonderful job at what they do. If they had better service it would be nice.

Grew up on this stuff. It is still amazing and will continue to be forever. Their quesadillas are my favorite and their chicken tacos are bomb. I dare all you Unilocalers to go Bold on a Bean n Cheese burrito. It’s a total Stoner’s burrito but it’s great. My heart melts every time I see a big ol tray of DT with my number written all over it coming my way. 5 stars forever!!!

The email read, «Happy birthday! We look forward to seeing you on your next visit! Come in for a FREE premium shake!» Well, a shake is one thing, but a «premium» was irresistable on a hot day. The sullen cashier told me, «We don’t have those now.» Further interrogation(which you often have to do at these places) revealed, «We don’t have those made right now.» I offered to give up my Premium shake for a small coffee. This outrageous request required her to leave her post for a conference with the unseen manager, who after some waiting sent me her birthday wishes: «No.» I haven’t felt so special since the days of Blockbuster Video.

This place is always extremely dirty. The tables are never wiped down, the floor has food on it, and the bathrooms are gross. Usually the employees are standing there talking when nobody seems to be ordering, which I feel should be time for them to tidy up the place a bit. I mean how hard is it to wipe the tables down? It should take you 5 minutes tops. The food tastes fine but if they treat their kitchen the same way they treat the sitting area, I would be concerned.

I always order chicken soft tacos at Del Taco, I love the perfectly seasoned chicken and the sauce. As most of us know as with any chain it can very from place to place. This Del taco is the most consistent. Here is how ordered they jet your order right, management is great, staff is happy and friendly and on most days they relay are fast. This in my opinion is the best Del Taco in town.

I’ve frequented this Del Taco a lot, and more often than not is the drive thru dangerously slow. Last visit I was in that drive thru line for 25 minutes, with only 3 cars in front of me. Taco bell can bust out a 6 car line in 5 minutes man, cmon! And I’m not one to complain about one bad experience, this has been on multiple occasions. Seems that over the past year it’s gotten worse. One time I went there and they had run out of refried beans, so the employee told me I couldn’t order anything with beans in it. Hey man, that takes alot of options away here. I can understand a down economy and having to cut costs, but when that affects your product and adequate staffing, you may have to rethink your budgeting plans. Just sayin.

Well, I was going to IHOP(it’s in the same shopping area, just off I-80) for breakfast, and then decided the budget needed taking care of, so I went to this Del Taco. For one-quarter(or less) the price of the IHOP breakfast I didn’t have, I had a great bacon-egg-cheese quesadilla, a substantial side pot of refried beans dripping with cheese and red(enchilada?) sauce, a cup of not-bad coffee, and some crisp, fresh potato sticks. Five stars for value for the money and a bright, upbeat place to eat. The only trouble was trying to figure out how to eat the quesadilla. It’s tucked into a big triangular paper wrap, so I supposed I should pick the thing up in the wrapper, but it was hot(a good thing) and the flour tortillas were soft(also a good thing), so I couldn’t quite get a grip on it! When I did, it was tasty as can be. The potato sticks were crisp and better even than the potato cakes at Arby’s, if you know about those. And BTW, the décor in this Del Taco makes you think you’re in the Milan airport: White, green, and red tiles laid vertically to resemble a mountain range; orange-painted ventilation housing(industrial chic); bright cube ceiling light fixtures; multi-colored tables; and more. This contempo ambiance adds to value for the money! Counter service was friendly, polite, and quick. This is a great spot for an inexpensive, fill-er-up breakfast when you can do without the Swedish pancakes.

We drove through to pick up some fries and decided to grab some nachos as well. We ended up with the steak macho nachos and oh my god were they good. And cheap! Just awesome. And the fries were, as usual, awesome. These are easily the best fast food fries you can get and maybe the best period. Yum!
