We had some wonderful, tasty and flavorful frozen yogurt here. Joy was very helpful and really nice. We loved it!

Sad! Honey treat yogurt used to be so reasonable on their prices. Me and my family would all go on Sunday’s. But now they are just as expensive as the high chain frozen yogurt shops. We won’t be going anymore since it was way out of our way. We went because they are friendly and their prices used to be reasonable. Times have changed.

Honeytreat Yogurt is my favorite frozen yogurt shop in town! The frozen yogurt is so rich and fresh! I love the flavors. I grew up going here. The owner and staff is always polite and friendly. My favorite flavors are vanilla custard and yellow cake batter. My girlfriend loves peanut butter. We go here all the time!

This is the best froyo shop in town. They have the standard 5 – 6 flavors that are always available. Everyday they change the other 5 – 6 flavors. Some of my all time favorites include: brownie batter, caramel pretzel, marshmallow, cake batter, tart apple, raspberry, and strawberry. Unlike many of the help yourself yogurt places, here they have 5 sizes and they fill them up for you. No skimping here, they are packing the yogurt in there and swirl it over the top. They have a great selection of toppings that they layer into your yogurt! This is the best deal in town price wise. My husband and I LOVE yogurt and can spend over $ 20 at those help yourself shops. Here the prices are more reasonable and we usually only finish half and have the rest the next night. I don’t mind paying an extra fee for debit purchases since we are helping out a local business. The owner Liz is always friendly and does a great job. I also love it when Joy is working because we can chat a bit and she also does a great job taking care of us! Do yourself a favor and check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

Every time I’ve been here, the employees have been friendly and eager to help. Their flavors of yogurt change daily, and you’re welcome to sample any flavors you wish. They don’t do yogurt like other serve yourself by the weight places. They have a few different sizes to choose from, and they make the concoction for you by layering toppings and yogurt together. I really love coming here as a nice sweet treat :)

The best Fro yo in town. I eat sugar-free. Honey. Treat has the only good sugar free in town. The sugar stuff is great too according to my wife. By the way, the owner Liz is there-nothing matters more than owner presence regarding service!

This the one and only place I will go to for a treat. The best price for the money! The quality is excellent. I like tart Flavors and root beer floats here! Try it once and you’ll come back for more! Liz the owner cares about each and every customer also.

My family and I have been coming to Honey Treat Yogurt for about 20 years and no other yogurt place can beat them. The owner is friendly and she remembers you when you return to the store for more lol. The employees are always just as nice. I would be so sad if they ever went out of business. Even though they are across town for me, I would rather drive there instead of down the street to a different yogurt store. Support your local business!

Good taste. Nice little place. Vanilla with butter pecan topping is very good. Area is run down and kinda ghetto, but the flavor here is as good as any.

I only came in here to get out of the heat and see if they had a restroom upon ordering I see a sign that say they charge for debit transactions… but not per the transaction but per the yogurt??? WTF this is the most scandalous thing I have ever seen what a way to rip off your customers. The yogurt was well yogurt. And they staff was super friendly if it wasn’t for their scandalous business practices I would have gave this mediocre yogurt a 4 star for a clean places and friendly staff

I tried this place out for the first time yesterday! The service was great. And everyone had a smile on their face, even though it was as hot as hades. The facility is clean, but small; however, they do have indoor and outdoor seating. They have a bunch of different flavors of thick, creamy fro-yo and a variety of toppings to go along with it. I had a Vanilla Custard Fro-Yo Shake. It was delicious; although, it actually lacked the shake aspect part of the«fro-yo shake» title. I was too thick, so I ate it with a spoon. It was still a perfect treat for a hot day.

WOW, what a sweet little Fro-Yo shop! Not the typical self service style, but really cool nonetheless. Tucked in next to the big toy store, this little gem shines bright like a diamond with the su… lol sorry! Anyway, the interior is small but nicely decorated with yellow walls, laminate wood floors, and 8 – 10 faux granite or marble table tops. we were greeted with a smile by a friendly girl who was eager to satisfy our sweet teeth(is that plural for sweet tooth?). They seem to offer approximately 10 – 12 flavors, some of which are quite unique, including marshmallow and Carmel pretzel. From what I understand, the flavors are constantly changing. it looks like they also offer a couple low-carb and sugar-free options as well. Don’t worry, there are plenty of awesome toppings to top your delicious Fro-Yo with. I selected the chocolate supreme flavor and had it topped it with granola and Andes mint chunks. I say«topped» but actually she put some in the bottom, some in the middle and some on top, so I guess she bottommiddletopped it with granola and Andes mint chunks. Head on in and check them out. Choose your Flavor and your toppings and let them take care of the rest!

I would come back to Honey Treat Yogurt, so I will give it three stars. I ordered a small yogurt and the amount of yogurt surprised me. It seems like a good value there. On the other hand, I got two toppings for 75 cents, nuts and M&Ms. The toppings were sparse and the main reason it’s getting three stars instead of four stars. I ordered Snickers yogurt. The person behind the counter warned me it was sugar free. I didn’t care as long as it tasted chocolaty. It tasted bad. Nothing like chocolate and it had an odd metallic flavor. I’m confident other flavors would taste better, though.

As a self admitted Fro-Yo addict, I’ll take it in whatever way is closest and most convenient. Honey Treat happens to be right near home, and with a consistently changing variety of flavors, it’s enough to lure me in from time to time. Honey Treat is a rarity though, in that they have someone serve your Fro-Yo to you, vs. the self serve spots that are so prevalent. The staff is super cool, really friendly, and willing to chat it up, which I like. The other day I took down a sign for a weight loss contest that showed silhouettes of various body types and I asked the girl which I most closely resembled. She could barely contain her laughter, but answered and I appreciated the kindness in her response, as she was clearly fibbing, and told her I have Fro-Yo to thank for this. I usually get a Giant size with toppings on the side, and share with the GF. There’s always enough to eat over 2 – 3 days. I usually leave the leftovers for her though, because Honey Treat just isn’t the same the second day, both in terms of flavor and consistency. Must be something in their formula I guess. For that I give them 4 Stars. Keep up the good work HT. I love your style!

The best frozen yogurt in Reno, no question. I got pistachio and vanilla with awesome rocky road topping. They have a bunch of other options too. The girl at the counter was super friendly and more than happy to let me try a few different flavors. The prices are very fair. Although I just discovered it, this shop has been in Reno for a long time(20+ years I think?) and is such a quality local place. I will definitely be back!

I was looking for yogurt at Unilocal and found this place. The girls worked there were very friendly and sweet. The yogurt was not self-served but the portion was pretty generous. I got the peanut butter and yellow cake batter with cheesecake cube topping. It was pretty good. The yogurt was not too sweet or watery. Very creamy texture.

This is my favorite yogurt place in town. I’ve tried all the others and I feel they have the most variety. Their flavors change almost daily, with the exception of the daily standards: vanilla, chocolate, peanut butter. But they have 6 – 7 varying flavors and I have never seen at other places. They also have the best prices vs those other«per ounce» places. You definitely get more here. The owner and staff are always very friendly too! ***TIP*** always, ALWAYS get the pineapple tart & yellow cake batter swirled together when they are in the same machine. Same goes for the tart green apple & caramel. Oh Em Gee. Nuff said.

July 21, 2012 Saturday — desert 7PM 2 adults & a kid Atmosphere — 4 stars Food — 5 stars Service — 3 stars Background –Had a living social deal to use. I have never been to the place before. Atmosphere — A strip mall frozen yogurt shop crammed into a small space. Like other reviews stated, the counter area is weird. The whole area can be difficult if crowded. They only had napkins at the register which is a pain when you have to go back and get some more. We sat outside at table covered in old drippings of yogurt. Probably the malls property but someone needs to clean the area. Food Appetizer — Here just for the frozen yogurt. Main Course — Still here just for the frozen yogurt. Dessert — I went with a mini cup of black cherry, $ 3 is a lot of frozen yummy yogurt. I had no topping with mine. My daughter and wife had one topping on their mini’s and they mix them around nicely so they are not just physically on the top of yogurt. Service — I had the living social deal and had to check to see how late they are open. Their website lacks functionality you would need to navigate. I gave up and tried calling for their hours, but got no one then the fax machine picked up, love that screak. So I saw a link on their website for their Facebook page, they had recent updates on here, with current flavors. They had two girls working behind the counter. Both were friendly and helpful with samples. The one thing that is not clear even though it is on the menu board is the toppings cost. Future — Mini was way too big for me, yeah I know light weight. Next time the kid’s size for me.
