I swear to you every time I eat here I think«why did I do that» which is why I’ve only eaten here a handful of times the last 4 years. The line is quick, even when it’s long which is really great! The people who work here are generally pretty friendly too, you usually always will get good customer service. Problem is the food! I ordered what I always would get if I went into Panda Express, a orange chicken bowl with half fried rice and half chow mein. Let me start with the fried rice, I’m not sure if they’ve changed the recipe in the last year or not but it was really flavorless, this actually used to be my favorite part of the meal. The chow mein was good, as usual. The orange chicken though. Usually I think they cook it a little crispy, which is fine by me, but this time it was… Floppy? Simply, it was gross. Chicken wasn’t undercooked, but it seemed like they took out the orange chicken a few minutes too soon. Didn’t finish the meal, it was pretty underwhelming. I’ll look for a different option on campus next time.

Panda Express was never a first choice for Chinese style restaurant since you stand in line to give your order, then you collect your order and find a «clean» table. But, considering there is only one sit down standard rest on campus, a cafeteria style eating area isn’t that bad. Now, onto the store. It’s almost always noisy in the food court. It’s another hazard that comes with the territory. So, due to the noise, it’s sometimes difficult to hear what anyone is saying, on the other side of the counter. That is their major drawback. Other than that, there food has always been served to me fresh and hot. They have two types of rice, that I’m aware of. White/Steamed and brown rice. Both are good and I opt for the brown rice for potential health benefits. Mostly, what order is their soybean and eggplant vegetable rice bowl over brown rice. Service has always been cordial and friendly, baring on the side of rushed at times. But then, sometimes the line extends past the restaurants own boundaries! — — — — — — — — — — — - Bottom line Yes, I would go back. It’s a decent place with fair prices.

Panda Express will never be my favorite restaurant. However this location doors a great job of providing quality food and service in an incredibly demanding and fast paced environment. The manager is really nice and often works alongside the employees. All of the employees are friendly and the food is always consistent and yummy.
