Extremely disappointed with the food at Red Lobster. My wife ordered from the fresh fish list. Fresh it was not. Fresh fish foes not smell strongly of fish. I don’t believe they have a grill to cook their sea food. I had a lobster, shrimp combo. The shrimp was cold in the inside. It has been years since I had been to a Red Lobster Restaurant. Don’ t think I will step in another again. However, I must say they are really busy most of the time.

Had a gift card and thought we would try out red Lobster. Sadly we were very disappointed. They sat us in a corner both next to the bar. The curtains were dirty and floor sticky. Ordered«jumbo» crab cakes and by no means were they jumbo. They were $ 14 and you only get two. Dinner we got the admiral feast and a four course entrée deal. The soup we had to put a whole bunch of pepper in order to get any flavor. The fried fish was soggy with grease and super small pieces. We decided long john silver you get more fish. The Cajun chicken pasta was swimming in butter. Finally desert the brownie wasn’t cooked. Waitress was more concerned with other tables then helping us. She suggested a drink only to tell us after the fact you cannot get refills. She said it was handcrafted and I’m sorry but at Olive Garden they make hand crafted lemonade and it’s free Lemonade. So we will not come back here again nor would we recommend this to anyone.

I have always loved Red Lobster but recently this one has gone downhill. My husband, my son and myself came with big expectations and were sadly disappointed. The service was lacking. We asked for napkins 3 times and the waiter was annoyed. There was only one waiter working on 10 tables by himself. It seemed that he was not getting any help from the rest of the staff. He didn’t communicate with us because he was running… The food was not great either. The appetizer, shrimp lettuce wraps, were supposed to have jalapenos in them and they didn’t. The squash and zucchini was a side that I chose and it ended up being ONLY zucchini. A disapointment. We will not be back.

Went to red lobster for dinner the hostess was friendly. They were very friendly with the menu and drinks. It’s been years since I been to a red lobster. Our waitress Sara was great she was very understanding with my kids at the table. She has a good sense of humor. Very nice and clean resturant too. I’d definitely come back.

Friendly server, Ashley was cute and nice which is always a plus but the hostess was kinda rude. The chocolate cake was to die for but the food we got(appetizers) were kind of bland and flavorless. I love Red Lobster food but this time it wasn’t the greatest. I would go back though as I have liked it in past.

I went to dinner with my boyfriend and my grandparents tonight. The waitress was oddly rude to my grandfather when he wanted to keep the plate that she had left on the table, as he was going to use it to cut the dessert in half. She rudely told him that there were already plates on the table and that he could use one of those. My grandfather explained to her that he needed a pen to sign the receipt and then she again(rudely) protested that he didn’t need to sign it and laughed at him when he didn’t understand. I get my grandpa is old but there’s nothing to laugh about when he’s trying to tip you lady???

I am always satisfied and extremely pleased when I dine here. I don’t make it here as much as I would like to but that is probably a good thing for my waistline. I do come here every year for my families tradition of Lobster Fest for Easter. Entrees are always fantastic and the staff is always top of the lone helpful, friendly and entertaining. I’ve never been disappointed from a meal here and they never have any issues with alterations I make to my order. If I could afford it financially and with my pant size I would be here on a very regular basis. It’s a special meal out that we look forward to and our mouths start drooling for months in advance. Their lobster is alway amazing and with excellent flavor. Their appetizers are always incredible and never left behind. Of course their famous cheddar bay biscuits can not be topped. Warm. Soft and fresh every time.

My lady & I are there last night. Minutes after she got her plate she found a hair wrapped around a mushroom and fish. The manager said: we won’t charge you. No kidding, she hadn’t had a bite. Manager said I don’t have to pay for mine either. Then it’s we will give you a free desert. Well my lady got a free desert, not me, they charged me for my meal. To me do what you say, not change it all when we’re ready to leave. I’ll not go there again because of the disrespect for the whole thing. Hair!!! That is so disgusting!!! Note: my girl never did get a dinner. I shared mine with her.

Red Lobster — one of my ALLTIME favorite places to eat Lobster… UNTIL I went to the Kietzke location in Reno, NV this past Saturday. I was all geared up to watch the UFC fight(McGregor/Diaz), but we thought we’d pop into RL for some Lobsterfest food! Riiiiiiight. Not such a great idea after all — which is probably WHY McGregor tapped out in Round 2, damn Irishman!(I’m Irish, get over it…) So we ordered the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer — DELISH. 5 stars as always Then I ordered their new«Dueling Lobster Tails» dish — O. M. G. I don’t know if it was my tastebuds that day, OR if it was just as LOUSY as it tasted! The mac/cheese stuffing on the one lobster tail was BLAND, MUSHY, ANDHADZEROFLAVOR. The lobster was WAYOVERCOOKED(shocked me! I’ve NEVER had a bad lobster at any RL in California… but yes, this is Reno; it was so overcooked, I actually thought it was shrimp!). The OTHER tail was supposed to have been stuffed with the same creation as the stuffed mushrooms — except THIS stuff was SOFREAKINGSALTY, I couldn’t even stomach ONEBITE — and I LOVE salt! I had to send the entire dish back, and then my appetite was totally ruined. Now, maybe it was my Irish intuition’s way of telling me Conor McG was going to tap out later that night, but I tend to believe it was just BADFOOD. VERYDISAPPOINTING. The manager did come over, of course she removed that item from our bill, but I was SOBUMMEDOUT — because I wanted some good lobster that night and it just sucked! Oh, and I ordered their Berry Sangria drink(whatever it’s called), and it tasted like Strawberry Jello. I’m not a «huge» alcohol fan, but I’m PRETTYSURE there was NO alcohol in this drink whatsoever. Glad I paid nearly $ 7.00 for some kool-aid, right! My friend’s meal was fine to him… but you know men are not as picky as women! lol ;-) For the record, «Kim» was our server and she was a doll… it wasn’t her fault the chef’s screwed up the lobster. But now, meh — I probably won’t go back there for a long time, if ever. Our bill was still $ 62 — and that was AFTER the manager took off my meal. IDK, just very disappointing. Anyone know of a good restaurant to get GOODLOBSTER — INRENO??? Do share! :-)

Very disappointed in the service at the restaurant. Took forever to get a salad with grilled shrimp on it. The waitress was subpar, and then they over-cooked a steak & then took it back to re-fire it, and it didn’t come out until at least 30 minutes later when the rest of our party had already finished.

Dont try to sit in the bar. We just got«told» that the tables in the bar are not part of the bar. The surely waiter literally said«the bar is the bar» and walked away. We then walked out. We will not be going back.

Red Lobster is one of the few chain restaurants that still has high quality food. Each year the endless shrimp special brings me and my family in. We LOVE this special! Red Lobster offered great shrimp dishes and is a great restaurant to go to for the seafood lover inside of us all. The real reason I loved my most recent visit was because of the exceptional service that we had. Our waiter was Chan and he was by far the most exceptional waiter I have ever had while dining out. He was quick to provide suggestions, take our order, re-fill our water glasses, and much more. Chan was friendly and personable. I recommend a visit to Red Lobster and I HIGHLY recommend requesting to sit in Chan’s section if he is available.

Like always the food is always great and the service is never bad. Today my Mother and I went there to share a few appetizers for our lunch. One of their specials today was 2 lobster cakes with a salad. We ordered that, the fried calamari and the lobster artichoke dip. For being a Sunday at about 12:30 service was great and our food came out in pretty good time. The lobster cakes were a really good size. Larger then your normal expected so that was a plus. They were delicious. It’s always a good sign to see actual lumps of crab in you food. The fried calamari, broccoli and peppers tasted just as good as always. We did think they even give a larger amount now then they used too. The lobster artichoke dip came out nice and hot. So good! Once again nice lumps of lobster on too and through out the dip. Our waiter was very attentive which is a normal for Red Lobster.

I have always loved Red Lobster. I was in the mood for fish tonight but not in the mood to cook, so Red Lobster it was! We started with lobster and cheese stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. I am attempting to eat healthier… sorta… so I ordered grilled snapper with pineapple salsa, and broccoli and green beans as my sides. The kids got crab legs(MYSONGOTSOMETHINGOTHERTHAN A CHEESEBURGER. This is big news). My mom was with us and she got some sort of shrimp trio thing that had scampi, fried shrimp, and alfredo with shrimp. The stuffed mushrooms were delicious. Of course those cheddar biscuits are always super yummy and I accidentally ate like three of them.(They’re about 160 calories a pop too… healthy eating fail!) The kids LOVED their crab legs. It was their first time eating them and they had a blast cracking the shells and digging out the meat and dunking it in butter. I need to keep that in mind. They were busy and quiet the entirety of dinner since they were concentrating on extracting their crab. My mom said her shrimp was really good too. They brought me the wrong meal– and I was tempted to just roll with it because the one they brought was lobster, scallops, and shrimp, which looked and smelled so good… but was all slathered in oil and butter. UGHBEINGHEALTHY. So back it went and I waited while they made my grilled snapper. I had to wait a fair amount of time but they were very apologetic about it and comped my entrée. Totally A+ on customer service. Let me tell you though, it was totally worth the wait. The snapper was cooked to perfection and had such a nice light flavor and a perfect texture and the pineapple salsa was the perfect compliment. They served it with a grilled lemon half to squeeze over it, which was neat. Grilling a lemon really changes the flavor! The green beans and broccoli were also very nice. I would definitely order this meal again, and I feel like I had a nice, healthy meal. Ummm… except for the cheddar biscuits and the cheesy stuffed mushrooms.(No one’s perfect.)

This is a chain that I hate to love. It is generally a big rip off, but who doesn’t love those damn cheddar bay biscuits? And I personally crave their version of clam chowder, its different and I can’t get enough of it. Another crazy good thing they do here, is their baked potato… covered in salt and oil, I can’t replicate it at home even though it looks so simple. I hit up red lobster probably about 3 – 5 times a year, mainly during lobster and crab fest(shrimp fest = snooze fest). It’s sort of a gamble with the snow crab… sometimes you get amazing, big, meaty legs and other times you get these wimpy, half empty legs. I’ve learned to pass on the snow crab bake(~$ 20-$ 23), and just get the 1 lb. steamed snow crab($ 19.49). I recently tried their fresh rainbow trout(full portion was $ 19.49)… eh, wasn’t too happy with that. Their seafood stuffed mushrooms can also be pretty good, especially when piping hot. Of course the ultimate feast looks amazing in the menu, but you get it and its like ‘wah, wah, waaaaaah” and its getting pricier and pricier(up to like $ 28 now). They have that 4 course meal for only $ 17 which is actually a good deal(soup, salad, entrée, dessert) and I do recommend that. The service is pretty good, the drinks are spendy cause it is a chain(think Claim Jumper, BJ’s prices), I get my food to-go 70% of the time. Also, it is a pretty clean place(Little secret, consistently A+ health inspection scores might make you feel better about eating here). I think overall its not as big of a disappointment as it used to be, my biggest memory as a kid was ordering the«Bottomless bucket of Snowcrab» which turned out to be like ½ a snow crab in a pail. Haha. I’ll gowith 4 stars because if you join the email club they send out lots of coupons ranging from $ 4-$ 10 two entress, which is a nice discount. Really a 3.5 though.
