The customer service is something to be improved upon, but the major problem with this place is the lack of having the food ready. We ordered our side and when asked when entrée we wanted, the girl walked away and started filling to-go boxes. There’s were nine waiting to be finished(should have been our first clue). When she finally came back to reality and asked again what we would like, I told her. Wouldn’t you know it, not one of the entrée was ready. I felt like I should not have to pick other things that were ready, that we did not want, on account of them not being efficient. So after waiting 25 minutes, and that is not an exaggeration, I finally said just put more sides because the plates are cold and I should not have to wait any longer. If you are in a hurry or like your food hot, don’t go to this panda!

If I could give this –5 stars, I would. Line was all the way to the door. The girl that took our order was nice, fast, and efficient. The two employees she handed us off to were another story. They were talking shit in Spanish(which I fluently speak) to the girl actually doing her job and they were not paying attention to customer orders. One of the two messed up a ladies order. She asked for three of something and they only gave her two. They only charged her for two. She brought into their attention, and the words«I apologize» never came out of the employees mouth. Maybe she asked for two and not three. Maybe the two employees were too busy gossiping to pay attention to the customer. It’s invalid. All they had to do was say, «I apologize I did not hear you say three. We only charged you for two. I can ring you up for another one and get that to you right away». This lady was fine paying for the extra, she said so herself. But the employee took a very defensive stance. He argued with the lady that he didn’t hear her… Yeah, we get it. Just shut up and make it right. They proceeded to completely bungle my order. They then picked up the wrong order and tried to give that one to me. When I said it wasn’t mine, they scooped out the food and put the items I mentioned in the container instead… in front of the person that had just ordered THAT food. I wish all the success in the world to the first girl that helped us. She was sweet and considerate and never retaliated to the hateful«joke» comments of her fellow employees. The other two can suck it. But they probably can’t read this anyway.

I’d much rather eat at PF Chang’s next door, but when you have a squidgety little kid whose idea of fine cuisine is the chow mein at Panda Express, then you sometimes have to pick your battles. Me: «I’m feeling Asian today. How about some good Asian food at PF Chang’s?» Little Kid: «Allie, you ARE Asian. Don’t you feel Asian every day? And can we eat at Panda Express? I like the noodles there. They’re scrumptadeliciousnessgooditygoodgood.» Me:(Feeling defeated by a six year old who is not my child) «Okay. But I’m deducting your meal out of your birthday cash.» Little Kid: «But I’m saving up for a …» Me:(Feeling righteous): «Good job, kid, keep saving.» So for under $ 4 you get a whole bunch of what a six year old would consider scrumptadeliciousnessgooditygoodgood but is actually decent, if not the most authentic dish ever made. Also, their white rice here tends to be DRYDRYDRY. Like wallpaper paste dry. Like Bolivian Salar de Uyuni dry. Like Obama’s humor dry. Allie out. Drops mike.

I’ve been here a few times and have found the food to be fresh and prepared well. The service is another matter. The last time I was here was a couple of months ago. my food was put in a paper bag and leaked all over. I know it wasn’t just mine because there was a trail from the door to the cars and that was on my way in. I decided not to go back for a while. I did finally go today. The service is still bad and the food isn’t as good. With all the choices locally I believe it’s time to write this place off.

By far the worst panda ever. Very rude employees. Unprofessional. Always out of food and unwilling to make more. If you want to waste your time come here. Especially if your on your lunch break.

I usually do not eat at «fast food places» however this is an exception to my rule. Unlike other fast food chains that use selections of one or more, from the following categories: frozen; prepackaged foods; processed foods; meats that have added [artificially] growth hormones; products that contain pesticides; and artificial flavored and colored food products. The Panda Express uses fresh vegetables and the cooks make everything in woks as the orders are taken. The food is delicious and freshly made. According to the website: , The Panda Express is a franchised business. Wikipedia documents, as of June, 2015, there are 1,746 locations in the USA and Puerto Rico. Andrew Cherng and his parents are from Jiangsu, a province in China. In 1973, Andrew and his father, Chef Ming Tsai Cherng opened their first restaurant in Pasadena, CA. Andrew dreamed of sharing his father’s authentic recipes, for delicious Chinese cuisine, with the American people. Andrew also wanted to offer a choice of delicious entrées at inexpensive prices. As destiny intervened in Andrew’s life, it just so happened that Andrew met Terry Donahue, the head football coach at UCLA and Dan Donahue who was Terry’s brother, just so happened to have a Realtor company [Donahue Schriber Real Estate] that managed the Glendale Galleria, an upscale shopping center. Don offered Andrew the opportunity of a lifetime, to develop a fast-food version of his restaurant’s entrées and his father’s delicious recipes. As fate would have it, this was just the beginning of Panda Express.

I love Panda Express. But this one in particular is unpredictable. The costumer service is less than sub par. I usually get the broccoli beef, but I never actually get any beef. Every time I ask for a little more beef I get looked at like I’m Satan! I guess it’s a good thing I like broccoli. Anyways, 5 stars for quality of food. 3 stars for customer service!

Yummy fried rice!!! That’s what I thought when going to panda. My favorite thing there is the rice. I forgot panda has changed there rice recipe. It is not the same any more. In my opinion it’s worst the the other way they make it:-(. This facility is located in a great area. There’s tons of shopping around and lots to do. As for the inside of the facility, it was the same as most other chains. When walking in the tables were messy, and the line was very long. We waited for about 20 to 25 minutes. Now I think this has something to do with the food place next to it! The reason why I said that is because we went there first and they ran out of a main ingredient. Which means better business for panda. As for the staff, they seemed to be dreading the day. They stuck with the bare minimum of talking with customers. «what can I get for you.» But then shortly after the staff started talking about personal stuff I front of customers. Now if that was me, I would prefer my personal life be private. Especially infringe of strangers! As for going back, I may go back when thinking of the Fried rice and forget they changed the recipe.

The food is good here but the service and cleanliness are not. I have come in here a few times because my work is close and every time the employees are very short with you, borderline rude, and interrupt you while you try to order. The counters are filthy, the dispensers are disheveled, and the floor today was so sticky it was ridiculous. It’s one thing if it’s really busy and no one is able to keep up with organization and cleanliness but it was dead today and no one was making any effort to clean up. I’m disappointed with this establishment.

While the food is filling and doesn’t taste bad, it is some of the most boring food out there. Another real minus is their fried rice. It is kind of crunchy and unappetizing. Feels like it was undercooked. Prices are fair but food is dull.

Out of all the Panda Express chains I’ve been to, this one has got to be the freshest and most generous. They load their fried rice with veggies and their steamed veggies are fresh and not soggy. Their meat entrees are also fresh and not as heavy on the oil. After eating at PF Changs twice, I felt sick. I can eat a 2 entrée meal at Panda and not feel sick. Nice open eating area with lots of light, clean, and fast service. Bonus points for being next door to Jamba Juice!

I just wanted to do a quick update here on the great Chinese Spare Ribs, Panda Express had out on a trial basis since March. The trial ends July 26th and sadly corporate has decided not to continue the ribs as part of the regular menu. I guess they didn’t sell enough of them to keep it on. That’s too bad, as I really liked them. So if you ever wanted to give them a try, go now! I was just at Panda Express for lunch with 4 other friends and we all had the ribs. We called in to let them know we were coming because we needed like 10 orders of ribs! When we arrived, they cooked our big tray full of ribs right on the spot. Yep, they were still as yummy as before with that nice tender meat covered in that special sauce. I’m sad as this may be the last time I have these ribs! All my friends liked them as well. But the masses of America have spoken and I guess America is not yet ready for Chinese Ribs. Good try though Panda Express! The service at this location was fine, the staff all seemed glad we were there! Once the ribs leave, I’m not sure they’ll be any reason for me to return. Check them out before they’re gone!

What? A chain restaurant? Can he do that? Yeah! I can and I will because everyone has their little guilty pleasures. If anyone knows anything about my they know I was probably supposed to be born into an Asian family. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Vietnamese preferably, but really Id take any Asian culture for the mere ability to eat their tasty food on a daily basis! It’s the flavors I crave, night and day, and I just can’t get enough, and while Panda Express ain’t quite authentic, it manages to hit the spot in a way only this kind of cheap fast food can! And because you can see them cooking and admire the large refrigerators brimming with fresh veggies, you don’t feel bad about eating it! I’ll be honest, I actually came here because of another Unilocalers review and photos for the new ribs! They looked and sounded so dang good I just had to have them. So I ordered my usual 3 item combo with lo mein, the ribs, Beijing Beef, and chicken with string beans, snatched up some hot Chinese Mustard, and headed home to hit the couch to indulge in this sinful meal! Every bite is so good that Id love to save some for the next day, but for the same reason I just can’t leave anything behind! Just writing this review is making me crave it, so I’m gonna cut it off here and just tell you to go try it for yourself!

Wow! Great experience. Food was fresh and hot. I ordered Shanghai Angus Beef, it was great. Clean store, plenty of seating and line moved quickly. Friendly staff. The one thing I thought was hilarious was that they share a parking lot with PF Chang’s…LOL!

I’ve been here twice now and haven’t been super impressed. They aren’t able to keep up with the amount of foot traffic coming in at dinner time. They’re always running low or out of their best selling items. No one wants the bottom of the barrel! They definitely follow the customer service guidelines that are followed throughout all of the locations. I haven’t had a problem with their speed or friendliness. The first time I came here, they were out of the only item I wanted… pot stickers. Today, they were out of orange chicken. Isn’t that their best seller? Le sigh. I will still frequent this location if I feel like some junky Americanized Chinese food. I just hope they have their items stocked!

I went to Panda Express today for lunch with my friend and many others. Apparently this is a very busy lunch spot. The line moved reasonably fast and service was friendly. The food seemed to stay stocked well despite the crowd. I was able to get the entrée items I wanted without a wait I had the chow mein noodles and Bejing Beef/chicken and mushroom combo. The beef entrée had a slight kick to it but wasn’t spicy. The chicken entrée was sauced well. Overall this was fast food Chinese and very average. I would go back again.
