Now I rarely write reviews on chain vs family or town restaurants but I dropped off my car for maintenance and took a walk. Stopped by Taco Bell to see what the craze about their breakfast items are. None appealed to me other than the steak grand slam. Ordered and around 6 bucks which isn’t too bad with OJ and side. I bit into the grand slam and the gooey cheese with egg and potato was surprisingly good. As the cheese, being lactose I tolerate, was fearful to get bloated but the sour cream in the burrito kind of neutralized the stomach damage that it could have caused. The Cinnabon bites are okay. Wish they didn’t pack them with so much sugar on outside and then the sugary crème inside. Facility is kept neatly and staff are nice. I’m sure it goes away after few people start harassing them which is the problem of our society that people can’t be grateful for little things compared to other places. Where I grew up we had to recycle bottles just to earn two quarters to get a Malta. Thank you for your time and service staff members :)

Me and my daughter went in tonight for a quick meal and as my daughter went to bite into her taco a dead cockroach fell out and then when I showed the manager I felt like she was trying to accuse me of planting it there lol needless to say I will never have an appetite for taco bell ever again and will definitely be making a call to the health department in the a.m.

Taco Bell is something I used to love when I was younger especially in high school, back when the .59, .79, and .99 menu was in full force. It was a fun place to eat, because you could really stretch your dollar, when most FF places were always $ 5 and up for almost anything(pre $ 1 menu days). I think anyone who grows up ends up thinking this food is terrible for you and makes you feel terrible and gives it up. I definitely was one. The strange thing is though, you never lose a craving a cheap crispy taco. It’s something that is surprising hard to find(especially later hours), and when you find one, most don’t satisfy. For a long spell during my college degree days, I hit up Del Taco, for Taco Tuesday, and pretty much it was a ritual. Then I found out some bad hygiene practices there, you might have seen my temporary reviews on that before they are yanked. Well call me sentimental, but I still search for that perfect crispy taco, and crave it like a pregnant lady does pickles and ice cream. It’s like an old familiar time and place when everything seems to fade away and you are in your magic taco moment of hard shell crunch, hot seasoned beef hitting cold crisp lettuce followed up by a tangy and tasty cheese with a slight bite. It’s a marriage of food ingredients that only gets better when you add tomato, and sour cream. Again, I am looking for economical prices, and unfortunately when add the former you got to kick up a large percentage of the original purchase price of your what used to be somewhat cheap taco(back in the day) to experience, unless you have the extra ingredients at home prepped and ready to apply when you arrive with your warm bag in hand — good idea! =) I think most of Taco Bells menu is under priced($ 1 and under menu) and tastes extremely undesirable or the over priced dare I say premium options do not deliver to price point paid. If you eat either you won’t be satisfied and swear to never eat there again as I have many times! =) PROTIP — Skip the breakfast menu and anything w/bacon, unless you like the pain of stomach acid for 2 days straight as my last fun experience was trying this new menu/time addition before work at different location than Moana. There is a Middle Path to Taco Bell and I found it again, and happy to report the moment you have all been waiting for, don’t settle for $ 1.19 tacos, bean burritos, or even soft taco’s, try the excellently priced Grande Meal, where you can get any combo of 3 for $ 10, where Value and Taste Meet Again! If you are like me that’s even to much for 1 sitting of a Dragonic Appetite, so order the bean burritos and stash in the fridge until ready to re-heat! Great Value for the one thing that TB does well, the simple basics, which everyone has had a good experience in the past with such. They really do these well, and it’s nice to see an old friend on occasion for a catch up experience that reminds one of the glorious days of a Simple Paradise Lost!

I call it Taco Hell. But its really the brand more than that particular store that I label. The food is not for me nine times out of 10. Last I checked their bean burritos have like 50%/ of your daily value of sodium. One of their managers that has worked their forever sometime is very friendly and courteous. I’ll update my review if her name comes back to me. The front end staff is usually high school kids that are new to customer service. Keep your expectations low and remember u get what you pay for.

Beyond them being expensive for what you get, and what you get being degraded from the original recipes(really thin, fragile, and cheap tacos for instance), their money saving steps have pretty much ruined the taste and texture of the food. Most importantly to some of use— THISESTABLISHMENTISHANDICAPPEDUNFRIENDLY!!! Pretty much impossible to get into in any sort of mobility device. They almost always refuse to serve mobility devices at every location I’ve been to. I have a large, street legal electric cart(lights, turn signals, horn, the works) that is impossible to get inside any Taco Bell I’ve ever visited(NO automatic doors, so I have to ask a stranger, would they please open the door for me. The side entrance is totally inaccessible and once inside the main doors, there is no way for me to get anywhere near the ordering counter, I have to ask someone to please go ask one of the staff to please come and take my order, usually more than once. My other option is to yell the length of the building demanding service. And they WILL refuse mobility devices service at the drive-up window! I wrote to corporate headquarters about this, they refused to answer, referring me to their legal representatives who had a never-ending list of requirements before they would comment and anything except additional information required before they’d answer any questions. This isn’t rocket science! Anything you need to know about the cart I use is available on-line directly from the manufacturer. Nevada state law is their concern, I shouldn’t have to go to the law library so I can find and photocopy revenant State law. I always thought that was what they were paid to do! They really don’t need a whole string of photographs of my own, individual cart. There are plenty of better pictures than I can take on the web! Since I’m a 100% disabled American Veteran, the VA supplies and maintains my cart, so I really can’t supply maintance records because I don’t have any. The prosthetics department at the VA takes care of that! I never got an answer from taco bell about why they won’t allow mobility devices at the Drive-up window. Maybe I’m an embarrassment to them?

We made a quick stop in here on our way to a Unilocal event. The service was fast and our food came out hot. The staff were decent to us even though you could tell one didn’t want to be there. Prices are reasonable. I don’t go to this location often but the inside looks like they’ve recently remodeled. It was clean and had a contemporary feel to it. Not a bad place to stop if you need something quick.

I really appreciated the kind greeting and informative approach from the cashier Fernando today. The place is clean and the food is consistent.

Not much to say other than I had never had a bad experience at a Taco Bell until now. I ordered my usual nacho griller and a quesarido with no hot sauce and within four hours I was sick all night long from the food I had here. I don’t think I’ll be able to eat Taco Bell again after that experience!

Really nice service here. Convenient location and it’s consistant, quick and cheap. Also, if you’re going to have fast food, you don’t have to feel too guilty about Taco bell. Oh, did learn something new today. I always get my tostada with sour cream. If you’re ok with tomatoes, just ask for a Tostada supreme and they’ll give you sour cream and tomatoes for just a little extra.

Terrible! Marginal food, short on toppings and charged me $ 1.75 for tap water in a cup!

The same friendly service. Twenty minutes before they close. The beef tasted and had the texture of a hamburger that was torn up to fit the taco shell and the seasoning was off. I suspect this was bottom of the barrell fare since closing was upon them. But since I am still paying the same amount of money as I would when the food is fresh please do not serve it. Just say you are out or something.

Why is it that only Taco Bell will satisfy me when I’m piss drunk? Why is it that Taco Bell is the only place you can get Mountain Dew Baja Blast? Why is it that Taco Bell smells the exact same coming out as it does going in??? Why is it that I continue to eat Taco Bell even though my gastrointestinal system refuses to digest it??? WHY???

Forget what you what thought before… this Taco Bell is one of the best restaurants in the world. Whether you are thinking of Ferran Adria’s El Bulli, Grant Achatz’s Alinea, the famous French Laundry in Napa, the Fat Duck in the UK, Pierre Gagnaire, or L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, this Taco Bell in Reno tops them all. After all, what else do 4– and 5-star reviews indicate? At this Taco Bell, you may partake in the pleasures of a Cheese Roll-Up(a flour tortilla rolled up with 3 different cheese melted to perfection); Cinnamon Twists(crispy, puffed corn twists, sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar); Bean Burrito(a warm, soft flour tortilla wrapped around hearty beans, real cheddar cheese, tangy red sauce and diced onions); or a Caramel Apple Empanada(a crispy golden pastry pocket filled with chunks of warm apples in creamy caramel sauce). I could go on, but why? This is dining perfection. Haute cuisine? Molecular gastronomy? Trust your instincts and listen to the others who have rated this one of the world’s best restaurants. Think outside the bun.
