I went there with a couple of friends 6÷13÷2016. It was my first time. I ordered the 8pc combo of Chicken Strips that should of came with a side of your taste, I did not get asked about it so I assumed they would bring fries as a treated«Usual», I assumed. The server also mentioned taking about 25 mins to make, which I was fine with. 10−15Mins later the Chicken Strips arrived with out a side, so I had to ask a different waiter about it, they did bring the fries at a later time. I had ate about 3– They were half buffalo, half BBQ, I cannot find the words to explain how bad they were, I had to leave immaterially feeling awful, they were very rubbery, uncooked,(My guess). Who ever sees this, please take it serious, I had to stop on the middle of the road while driving home to puke it all out, horrible experience. On the other hand, the Sushi was great for my friends.

Our meal was so bad, I was going to call the owner/manager. Then I read the reviews, and it’s clear that the door to the wing side should be permanently locked. All the warning signs were there — We should have checked Unilocal reviews before throwing away $ 24 for flavorless wings, a rubbery chicken sandwich and frozen(Ore-Ida?) fries. Don’t make the same mistake.

Don’t bother place has taken a nose dive in the last 6 months, no one is ever on the wing side you have to go ask a server on the sushi side and the front door is always locked. Wings came out swimming in sauce and were at least fully cooked this time.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. My boyfriend ordered take out for us. When he went to the front entrance to pick up our food, the door was locked. He called and the women who answered said ‘oh, we are the sushi place next door’. This should have been the first sign. The wings were undercooked and we both ended up getting sick. Do not go to this place! I cannot speak for the sushi, but the wings were disgusting.

Wings were mediocre.10% off coupon when you check out didn’t work– they said it was old. Then they should honor it or take down the offer. Environment was way bizarre. Walked up to the wing entrance, the door was locked. Guy came out of sushi place told us to come in. Sat on the sushi side. I love sushi but sushi and wings come on… the ambience ruined it for me. Be one or the other not both. Wings weren’t worth it.

If I could have given this place a 0 star rating I would have. My husband and I went in to try this place because we both really like wings. I’ll add that my husband used to work in a restaurant and I currently do so we know exactly how long things take and his things should be done. We were seated, given one menu and then immediately ambushed for drinks. I asked for one moment and she stood there and looked at me so I got water. My husband did all you can eat wings and I just ordered 12. My husband got his first 12 of 24 and they were alright. I got my 12 ten minutes later and I thought it was strange that we didn’t get our food at the same time. My wings were also okay. Nothing special. The real dilemma came when my husband got the second half of his wings 15 minutes later. We asked for a box and the server/bartender asks him if he got all you can eat and he says yes. She tells us that we can’t take them home because of this. I told her that we were headed to a movie and didn’t expect the wings to take so long. She looked at me confused and reiterates that we can’t take them home. I told her that my wings took 30 minutes and we should have gotten them all at the same time since we ordered them together.(Again, let me reiterate that in a server and know how AYCE food is served). She tells me that she understands that it may have seemed like 30 minutes, it only takes the wings 15 to cook and that’s when they brought them out. They also serve wings staggered which is why we didn’t get them all together. We had to pay full price for my husbands 24 wings to take them home. Besides the fact the service was atrocious and it was a total rip off, the wings upset our stomach. We will never be going back and recommend you do the same.

Walked in to this place at 1PM today. Not a person in the place. No customers, no servers, no one at the bar. Stood around for about 5 minutes before turning around and walking right out. If you can’t even have people around to operate the business then I don’t even want to attempt to try the food.

When we walked in to the business there was no one on the wings side. We went over to Ijji and they asked if it would be ok to sit in the sushi side. We agreed. We placed our order, I ordered 6 piece, all flats and my order was repeated back to me. Once our order was in, we waited over 25 minutes for our food to arrive, after asking once how much longer. My order was incorrect, but since I did not have the time to wait for a new order, I ate what was brought to me. I had used a coupon that I found on Wild West Wing’s Unilocal page for 10% off our bill. They refused to let me use it because they said it was 6 months old. Well needless to say, I will not be going back for the wings. And I am very disappointed to be treated the way that I was at Ijji as I dine there often.

There’s nothing better than discovering yummy grub that fits the family budget. Then there are those times when you wish you had made a different choice, and unfortunately, this was my experience at Wild West Wing. Having spent the previous week under the weather, I was eager for something other than chicken soup. We ordered our food to go, not wanting to share my coughing fits with other diners. This wing shop is operated by the same folks behind an adjacent sushi bar. In fact, there is a passageway leading between the businesses and they share a common kitchen. The sushi place had a decent crowd for a weekday evening; my wife and I were the only people waiting for wings at 7pm in a room with seating for perhaps fifty. After a thirty minute wait we received our order and headed home. The number of sauces included with an order of wings increases with quantity, so we chose an 18 piece combo in order to try three of sixteen varieties($ 18.49). The wings themselves were about medium-sized and fried sans coating – a good thing – but they were overcooked and pretty dry. Once a chicken wing has hit the point of no return no amount of sauce is going to help. The hot wing sauce was indeed hot and that’s about all I can say. Not much else going on. The garlic barbecue wings were sticky-sweet and reminded me of garlic chicken dishes sold in fast service Chinese joints. Actually not bad, but nothing about it said, «barbecue.» The last six wings were drenched in enough«whiskey bourbon» sauce to cover three or four times as many morsels. Unfortunately, the sauce was a serious let-down. From the color and extremely sweet flavor, I’d guess ketchup and molasses as the primary ingredients. There wasn’t any tang or spice, just tons of sweet and maybe a remote hint of bourbon(hard to tell amongst all the sugar). Having ordered a wing«combo» we selected coleslaw as our side(increasing the price by $ 2.50). What we received was a very small cup of shredded cabbage and thin-sliced cucumber, swimming in a nearly flavor-free dressing reminiscent of skim milk. We didn’t finish it. Wanting to try more than just wings, we ordered a cheeseburger($ 9.95) and«Nacho Libre»($ 9.99). Rather than fries I chose whiskey bourbon beans as the burger’s side, and this is where things got truly weird. Roughly two tablespoons of beans were in the bottom of the cup, which seems a pretty pale substitute for an order of fries. The beans themselves were overworked and mushy with a flavor that is hard to describe. You could definitely taste the whiskey this time, in fact, it had barely been reduced in the sauce. It’s entirely possible the beans were poured from a can with some bourbon tossed in at the last minute. I appreciate cooking with booze, but you’re not supposed to get a buzz off the sauce. When I opened the carton and saw the burger I was actually shocked. About the size of a fast food double quarter pounder, the limp lettuce and mushy tomato were removed after the first couple bites. The wrong cheese was included and there was a general lack of requested condiments. The patties had the overcooked consistency of convenience store cuisine. Combined with that smattering of beans, this was the worst $ 10 I’ve spent on food in quite a while. My wife enjoyed the nachos; me not so much. The menu description sounded pretty good, but missing from the actual dish was pico de gallo, chili beans, pulled pork, and celery bits. Instead of shreds there were big chunks of salad lettuce mixed with nacho cheese sauce, jalapenos and chopped BBQ chicken strips. I’m glad my wife liked it; for me it was the second worst $ 10 I’d spent that evening.

The first warning should have been the fact that staff/entrance and lord knows what else is shared with Ijji. That being said, I am a huge fan of Ijji and have never been disappointed with their sushi or Teppanyaki at their other locations. So – being that it was Sunday, and it was close, the family and I tried it out. We literally sat for 10 minutes before someone who was in the Sushi restaurant saw us and appeared very annoyed that we joined the one other table of customers on the«wing side.» He took our drink orders, and I guess we should be thankful that he eventually returned – even though it was only with 3 of our 5 drinks. Then – another server magically appeared to take our drink orders. Thankfully, through the power of inter-staff communication, they figured out that we did not need an order taken, but would be satisfied with the rest of the drinks that were initially ordered. The food: some of the WORST wings I have ever eaten. And I hate to say – I have eaten more than my fair share. The skin was barely rendered crispy, they were cold, and the«mild» sauce was non-existent. The garlic parmesan was basically watered down butter with some sprinkles, and the«hot» was something out of a bottle that was dumped on top. Two of my kids had the kids’ burgers – and I don’t think they were«handmade patties» as the menu advertised, unless that is code for«frozen out of a bag from the Walmart across the parking lot.» The fries were ok, and the baked beans – again – likely from a can. The carrots and celery were somewhere between shredded and sliced, and the additional order came after our kids were served their complimentary ice cream sundaes(which are actually included in the kids’ meals). Speaking of kids – be careful where you sit. There are three televisions – and the two that we were facing had UFC on them. Not the best dinnertime viewing for kids. It is really unfortunate that this was not a better experience – as I go out of my way to support non-chain restaurants, and am not a huge fan of that other wing place in south Reno(with a dub in it). Maybe just sticking with sushi is the way to go?

These are the best wings! HOWEVER he needs to stop hiring family or be a better trainer because his service SUCKS! i’m sad because myself and my husband REALLY liked the wing and calamari. The last time here we order several thing one being the calamari(which isn’t fried in batter). The server brought out fried cheese sticks and marinara. when I told him he argued with me and insisted they were calamari. Then the owner came to the table and tried to tell me they no longer had calamari, shortly there after the sever brought my calamari? If you are going to lie get your staff in on it. Haven’t been back since. this was a couple of months ago. I HOPEHEFIGURESITOUT, because this is my favorite wing.

Before I break this place down, let me start by saying that this place is owned by the same people who own Ijji Sushi and operated by the same staff that runs Ijji 3. The restaurant is joined by the same entrance despite having its own door and having not gone into the kitchen, it appeared to share one with the sushi restaurant. Having gone to Ijji 3 last week and experiencing a bit of a fiasco, I was reluctant to go here, however, we had a coupon and my girlfriend wanted wings so I caved. My experience was less than abysmal. About the only thing this place has going for them is a nice, friendly staff. That’s it. The Menu: Nothing turns me off of a restaurant more than a poorly edited menu. In my opinion, the menu is one of the first impressions a patron will get of a restaurant. The first thing I noticed about the menu was that it clearly was not edited. The final product lacked any quality formatting, basic spelling or punctuation. I could not ascertain by reading the menu as to how many items came in the kids meal due to the fact that whoever wrote this menu managed to leave and«s» off of anything that should have been plural. I feel confident in saying that the 8 year old that was with me would have produced a more properly punctuated menu. Aside from that, the menu had a wide variety of selections to choose from, which I found appealing granted that this is a chicken wing joint. The place also serves alcohol. The Restroom: I feel that a restaurant’s restroom is very important component to the dining experience and personally, I associate the cleanliness of a restaurant to the cleanliness of the rest of the restaurant, including its staff. When a restaurant does not keep its restroom clean, stocked and sanitary, I immediately assume the rest of the business is the same way and the staff maintains poor sanitation practices. When I walked into the restroom, which only had one toilet, I was disgusted to find that long before I entered the restroom, another patron had done the same and attempted something that one would only find in a horror film. Based on the sight and smell, I can only assume that the atrocity was committed at least 24 hours prior. It was so bad that I had to leave and find a new bathroom. The Service: Like I mentioned before, the staff was very friendly, which is about the only thing I can say that is remotely good about the service. Mind you, I would be somewhat understanding of this was a packed restaurant but it wasn’t. There were three other tables and one of them sat down after us. My girlfriend ordered 12 wings which came with two sauces. Her son ordered a kids meal with 4 chicken wings and fries and I ordered a build-your-own burger with lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, jalapeños, cheddar cheese, mayo, ranch and BBQ sauce. Server leaves and takes the order of the table that came in after us. About 20 minutes later, the server comes back and informs my girlfriend that one of the sauces she requested was out. No big deal. Shortly after, the table that sat down after U.S. Gets their food. About 10 minutes later she returned with the kids meal and my girlfriends order. It was at this time I was informed that they were just waiting on the burger and that it would just be a couple more minutes. That’s when I start the clock. Exactly 10 minutes later, the server steps back over and says that it would only be one more minute on my burger. She leaves and goes next door. 7 minutes later, someone puts my burger on the counter. By this time, the table that sat down after us is finishing up their food. 2 minutes later, the server comes back in and brings my burger to the table and apologizes for the wait. Clock stops 19 minutes after the rest of the table got their food. Now, my burger was piping hot so I realize that it wasn’t necessarily the servers fault, that it was likely an issue in the kitchen. Upon examining my burger, I found it to be a pathetic representation of a sandwich. It came complete with a glob of mayo on the top bun, smashed down by a very small tomato slice, two small, cold grilled onions, no cheese whatsoever and two little containers of ranch and BBQ sauce. I was so irked, I requested a box and we paid and left. In all, I am giving this place one star, and it’s only because I have to give it one star. I would give this place negative black stars that are vomiting if it was possible. You can bet that I will not be returning to this establishment again, regardless of how good their coupons are…

Our server was so friendly and nice. However that’s really the only good thing about this place. It took 50 minutes to get our food and then it was only mediocre. Our server was excellent and I would gladly have her serve me again.

Total lunch $ 18 including tip for a 12-piece wing combination plate which came with some sides and a large drink. Wing flavors chosen: whiskey bourbon and plain(I JUSTCOULDN’T COMMIT!!!). Sides: garlic bread, ranch dressing with a small handful of carrots and celery, coleslaw. Next time I’d pass on everything but the ranch dressing and maybe the coleslaw. PROTIP: Do not come here as a starving Marvin. Wings are cooked to order and you WILL wait a minimum of 15 minutes or more from once the order is taken. Mondays and Tuesdays are AYCE which apparently is about $ 15 pp(compared to $ 12.99 for 12 wings). If you have the time and the belly space, go for it. The GOOD: Nicely sized wings. Not the hugest, but not the smallest. Good flavor. Because I was a wimp and was paralyzed with indecision about which flavors to get, I just ordered 6 plain and 6 of the whisky bourbon, which I really liked. The OKAY: Busy waitress serving six or seven tables. I had to ask, at different times, for utensils. Then napkins. And finally, after the meal, for wet wipes. Yup, I’d come back.

Came in here at about 7pm on a Sunday night, & there was only 1 person in the restaurant. I was hoping that wasn’t an indicator of the food or service there, & it totally wasn’t. Absolutely loved the wings & great service. The potato salad is one of best I’ve had at a wings place before. Why they weren’t slammed to the door is a mystery to me because I loved most everything about my visit there… keep it up!

We found Wild West Wings leaving The Walmart Thursday night. So we decided to try it out Sunday afternoon. It is a very clean establishment including the bathroom, extra points for that. My daughter got habanero, chipotle barbecue and New Orleans boneless wings, I got Cajun, whiskey bourbon and garlic barbecue bone-in wings we also got the fried green beans. My daughter really loved the habanero sauce(good amount of spice), and New Orleans sauce was sweet with a smoky paprika taste(She started dipping her chipotle ones in it), Chipotle barbecue rub was nice but it would definitely be better on bone in wings. The fried green beans were good still had a nice crunch to them but not worth the price for the portion size. The whiskey bourbon was a little sweet for me but I mixed it with the Cajun and it was perfect. The garlic barbecue had a light garlic taste. The Cajun tasted like regular buffalo sauce but not as salty and a bit more spicy. Service was good, I think it was the owner, checked on us regularly. I got a 10% off the bill for checking in on Unilocal, probably for first-time customers only but who cares awesome!!! Final bill for 18 wings each person(yes we are fat asses) and fried green bean with discount was $ 40.00. Awesome right… very filling, we didn’t even eat dinner that night. Will definitely go back.

I’ve come here a handful of times and The service is typically great. Today; however, not so much. When I arrived, there was a small rush so I sat for about 10 – 15 minutes before I was approached by the one worker on the shift. I ordered my meal and that took about 25 – 30 minutes to come out, by this time the rush had left. While I waited to order the table in front of me complained about how the order was messed up and demanded it be taken off the bill. Once they left, the waitress/server looked at the bill/tip, snickered at the amount and walked back behind the bar clearly disappointed. Finally, my order arrived and half of order was the wrong flavor and told me she got confused on the sauce I had ordered. She re-ordered my original set of wings and that took another 15 – 20 minutes or so to deliver even with only 3 groups inside. It’s pretty sad, but I most likely won’t return here. Slow service, no napkins, salt and pepper shakers so full they don’t pour out unless you remove the top. Not recommended.

Heard about this place through the word of mouth. Let’s start this by saying these wings are HUGH!!! Not a bone in guy but I thought what the heck. Chipotle BBQ and Garlic Parmesan. And a ton of sides. Well priced and great flavor and great service. Wings are huge. The fries were very good. The drink was never empty and the staff was great. 3TV’s and a well stocked bar. A great menu with great choices. Bathrooms very clean and the whole place was very clean. I would say if your looking for great wings and a good time. Come see these guys. HEYFORGOTTOTELLYOUALL!!! Monday and Tuesday all you can eat wings and side for 14.99.

We originally headed out to Chipotle but after calling ahead decided that 25 minute wait isn’t worth it. So obviously we ended up at Wild West Wing. No this isn’t a mash up of a Will Smith movie and an Aaron Sorkin drama. It’s a «uniquely» named wing restaurant. We were promptly greeted and told to pick our seats! We decided to just sit down instead. We ordered up the 50 piece for the three of us, knowing that it would be too much so we can bring home leftovers. Here are the flavors we got. Lemon Pepper 10 boneless wings hot and breaded. Garlic Parmesean Good flavor but maybe a little one dimensional. Southwestern Almost zero flavor. Honey BBQ Really good sweet but still seemed to have some spice zip. Hawaiian. Nice unique sweet but not too sweet flavor. Fries Ok Potato salad EXCELLENT especially mixed with the… Bourbon Baked Beans. You can really taste the Bourbon. The service was good and prompt. Maybe a few more napkins would have been nice but overall it was good. The wings were cooked nice and crispy and were good sized. Prices are standard for wings which are almost always overpriced., but people buy them so I guess I am just the odd guy. Parking is plentiful and easy.

Stopped in here midweek for lunch. I’d seen the signs, and heard they were going in the space just south of Ijji 3. I guess I was expecting something casual like Wing Stop, and was a little surprised that it was more like a casual bar or sports bar kind of feel — some booths around the edges, mix of high tops and regular tables, and a small bar in the back. Front windows are covered, and there were TVs in all the corners with various games on. Ordered the 12 piece classic wing combo, which comes with fries and garlic bread/Texas toast, for I think 12 or 13 bucks. They’ve got their sauces grouped as the spicy, the different, and the sweet. I originally said I’d like the original hot and the lemon pepper, but the server discouraged me from getting the lemon pepper, saying they were still dialing in the flavors for that sauce. I had the whiskey bourbon sauce he recommended instead. Menu is a bit strange in that it’s got some random deep fried items — pot stickers, jalapeño poppers, calamari, kabobs, crispy green beans, etc. Seems like quite the mish mash, and I’m going to guess all mainly frozen, Sysco-style items. Food came out in a paper basket with a liner of fries, another paper basket using the liners to split the wings I got, garlic bread on the side, and some small paper boats with celery and carrots. The guy I was with asked for ranch, and I asked for bleu cheese. They’re using big wings(maybe the biggest I’ve had in town?), and they’re not breaded. The whiskey bourbon was sweet, but didn’t really do it for me. The original hot was like a standard Buffalo style sauce, though there wasn’t much butter flavor to it. I feel like the wings could have been a little crisper — not sure if the deep fryer wasn’t hot enough or if that was due to the lack of breading. They’ve got some wings that they do on the grill, but they take a bit longer. Service was good — there was only one guy working the front of the house, and he was hustling, and friendly. Maybe a little too talkative for my preference, but not a big deal. A few misses — no extra boat for the bones, and when he brought out the ranch and bleu cheese, he forgot which was which. My co-worked and I tried to sort it out, but in the end, it seemed like they were all ranch. For full disclosure, the fire alarm went off in the building — not sure if it was due to Ijji or AAA, but it was enough to drive some customers to wait outside or get the food they were eating boxed up. We toughed it out, and I don’t think either of us were too upset by it, just made it a bit difficult to converse. They ended up comping our meals, but we left $ 20 bucks anyways. Overall, good sized wings with okay sauces. Portions are generous, and value seems pretty good — I felt like the place was more about quantity than quality, but maybe the grilled wings would improve my opinion.
