Firestone Complete Auto Care

I been patient with Firestone the past few months, right now I’m just done.
Summary, of my experiences can be found on the other similar one star experiences. From a simple oil change to a whole array of issues. Top it off with smug customer service, laughing at a customer trying to inquire about billing charges? Who in the world does that? Unbelievably smug attitudes. I wasn’t going to drop a review of all my negative experiences until that happened.
I have never came across a service as horrible as the one I’ve experienced here. Absolutely disappointed, do yourself a favor and look at other auto shops in the area. I was in and out of their shop multiple times in a two week period. How is this shop doing me a favor by having my vehicle begin tapping noises the day after getting it out of the shop? Then they put the blame on you, «well if you had paid more for the other recommended services we tried to tell you etc»
Constant up sell. Mysterious issues days after getting the car out of the shop. Smug and rude attitudes. Absolute garbage.

Brought my old Ford truck in for routine maintenance and they did good work at a fair price in a timely manner. They also did some repair work for me. I know enough about autos (and the condition of my truck) to recognize that it was a legitimate repair and I am glad they were able to get it done. They also provided a quote for some additional work. Some might call this upsell, but personally I appreciate the information even though I declined the work.
If you are in the neighborhood and looking to get some work done on your car or truck do yourself a favor and give this shop a try. Whatever you do, steer clear of Bucky’s which is just around the corner.

Expensive oil change, plus a couple days after, with zero issues with brakes before, suddenly the brake pad and rotor on the driver side are messed up. Horribly. This is strange because it was just purchased and inspected less than a year ago, no signs of problems with brakes, and suddenly, after the oil change at this location, there’s a dramatic change. We (my fiancé and I) are highly suspicious and really advise people to go elsewhere, just in case the brakes on my car were truly messed with in order to get business.
Edit: Dear FS, if an employee at this location messed with my brakes, obviously it would be to bring me back in and take more of my money. The response to my original review above is expected. We are never returning. But thanks anyway.

Besides them always trying to up-​sell to me and assume I don’t know much about cars, I like this location. Oh and pushing me on their credit card, I know you guys have to do it, but don’t be SO pushy.
I come in here only for oil changes and never have had an issue. Always Google for coupons!
Yesterday when I came in I had made an appointment for 9:30am and was back in my car heading home by 10:00. So quick! Especially for a holiday! The guy did tell me though whether or not you make an appointment, you might still have to wait. He said that the day before (²⁄₁₅) people with appointments had to wait about 4 hours because it was so busy. CRAZY! So glad I waited a day!
They gave me a spreadsheet of all the normal Honda maintenance as well, just so I had an idea of what I’ll need to have done once I hit the milestones (not really, I’m selling this car YAY).
Very nice staff, besides what I noted earlier. They let me bring my puppy in too.

It is close by, but never again. I hate to say it, but I looked at reviews of this place, and unless your Asian you are going to be screwed. All the Good reviews are Asian, check Google and Unilocal.When I picked up my car, I then noticed, they are all Asian

I had a front end alignment done on my Excursion. The vehicle drives much, much better now. The shop is very clean and professional. I also had a good experience with a manager named Boh and will be returning as needed for additional services.

Ive been servicing all my vehicles here since they have been open and always have excellent service. I totally trust them to keep my vehicles safe. My cars runs great and that’s why even though I move to Bothell I still bring my vehicle back to them to have it service.

I’ve taken my car here for oil changes before. Good service, and there was some upselling but not too bad. Then, I took my car in to have the brakes checked as I’d been hearing some grinding — not bad, but just wanted to check. Dropped the car off at 8:00 and they weren’t done with it until after 2:00. (Granted, I wasn’t sitting there waiting for it but 6 hours to check it out?) Then, when I picked it up, they showed me their recommendations — about $ 900 worth of repairs! I was told that my car was «unsafe to drive» and that I should have the repairs done right away. They could even help finance it (aww, thanks!). I told them no, not today, and again got the «unsafe to drive» spiel, like I’m going to die in a fiery crash if I drive away without getting my brakes fixed. I took the car to two other shops over the next week (without telling them what Firestone had recommended — would they find the same things??) and both shops said everything was fine.
I hope this attempt at a serious upsell wasn’t because I’m a single woman — which the guys at Firestone are aware of.

I had my sister in-​law bring her car in for a brake inspection. They recommended everything to be serviced and changed. New rotors. i read their specs and according to the measurements, the rotor should still be able to be turned. Why are they are they trying to sell new rotors?
Another item that caught my attention was that they recommended that the windshield wipers to be changed. I just changed the wipers last month and it is working fine w/​o streaking. Makes you wonder how much of their recommendations are BS.

They were nice although it has a level of service similar to Chinese restaurants. Customer service is average but wasnt rude or anything. The salesmanship to a degree I have to commend. They ask for the sale on extra services and aren’t too pushy about it. The facility is clean and nice, kids had stuff to keep busy. I was in a hurry and they were able to recognize and service that. No huge post service sale on what they recommend to do. I needed an oil change which is what I came in for and got done.

I don’t know what these negative reviews are talking about? I bought four new tires there, an oil change, and a lifetime alignment and was extremely satisfied. The people were very friendly, the place is super clean, the price was very reasonable, and the service was stellar. Excellent tire recommendation! I refer all my friends here!

The first couple of times I came to this Firestone for a oil change, I was in and out, happy with their service. I went in another time, and they had a «special» on a complete vehicle inspection. I said sure, why not. They finished the inspection, and gave me a estimate for about $ 3000 worth of repairs I supposedly needed done on my car. I was absolutely shocked. Next time I was due for a oil change, I went to the Covington location because it was closer to work. I had the $ 3000 estimate from the Renton Firestone in my glovebox and asked Covington if they wouldn’t mind checking all of the things out that «needed to be repaired». They did the inspection for free, and told me I needed absolutely nothing repaired on my vehicle. The only thing the Covington location recommended was a Fuel System Cleaning which made sense. The Cov. Location was more shocked than I was with the idiots at the Renton Firestone. I took the estimate to another mechanic shop to have them look over, and again, I was only encouraged to get a fuel system cleaning. After all of this from the Renton Firestone, I decided I’d try one more time with them. Got my oil changed, they told me I needed brand new tires ASAP. I just got the tires last July. So there’s no way in hell I already needed new tires ASAP. I told that to the employee who said I needed new tires, and he proceeds to ask me «well where’d you get the tires put on?» I said «Does that really have ANYTHING to do with the wear on my tires?!» He said nothing after that. I payed, and I left without another word.
Went to discount tire today, they checked my tires, they said my tires are perfectly fine.
Renton Firestone is a complete joke. I will never return to this location again. Unless I’d would like to get false information about what is «wrong» with my car.

Smug and rude employees. Talks down to customers and the service advisor was still chewing his lunch while trying to talk to me and other customers. Totally unprofessional, closest location, but I’ll drive an extra ten miles to avoid these guys.

I went here to get new tires and and alignment which was a great deal. Not only were the tires half the price of Costco prices but I also got the life time alignment for a great deal. Boh was very helpful, nice, and very handsome lulz. I suggest this place if you want to find tires for deals.

So happy to see this new shop around the blocks! Friendly staffs, Great service and Awesome discounts! Especially their efficiency! Will definitely recommend them to friends and family!

Nice new facility. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, especially Boh. Great deal on tires and they do a good job. Now it’s even closer to home. I recommend this place to my friends and family and they have not been disappointed yet!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR/​TRUCK TO THIS LOCATION FOR ANYTHING!
This is a new location and my husband decided to take his truck in to get his alignment fixed. The guy that worked on his truck suggested that he get his cambers replaced since his alignment still was not straight after the first appointment. My husband made a second appointment and asked me to drop his truck off since he had to work that day. My husband assured me that it would only take about an hour and that everything was already set up and that I could wait for the work to get done. I showed up on time, if not a little early for the appointment and was told by the guy at the desk that it would take 2 hours. I wasn’t happy about how long it was going to take, but still decided to wait instead of walk home or beg someone to pick me up. It took them 4 hours to finish the work that they initially said could be done in 1 hour and to top it all off they tried to rip me off with the cost of the parts and labor. Luckily my husband ended up getting off work early and met me at the shop. After my husband test drove the truck he went to pay for the work and he was taken by surprise that the parts and labor were more than double what he was quoted. The guy at the desk called for the manager to talk to my husband and all that the manager could say is that my husband signed for the quoted price and that he needed to pay for it. I immediately jumped in and said that it wasn’t his signature and that there is no way that we are paying for something that we weren’t quoted for by the guy who originally worked on the truck. The manager called the worker at home to find out what he quoted my husband. The manager began to scold the worker about quoting my husband a price that was less than what they pay for the parts. At that point the manager should have just let us pay what the worker quoted us, but the manager still insisted that we pay for the quote that I signed for. I asked the manager if they were trying to rip us off because I was a girl and figured that it would be easy to get me to pay the price that they quoted that day. I told the manager that I’m lucky that my husband showed up to clarify what he was quoted. It’s a shame that a new location like this is doing BAD BUSINESS. My husband got the lifetime alignment and now we will never go back to this location even though it is the closest to our home.
