Cool trendy boba place! I’ve been here once and I definitely will be back soon to try out the thai tea with boba(what I usually order). I decided to think outside the box and went with the chamango and also ordered the watermelon mason jar tea refresher. SOGOOD Y’ALL. Location is pretty large compared to other boba places. Lots of space, which is great for groups. They also have board games! I had a pretty intense game of jenga here… highly recommend: * watermelon mason jar tea refresher * chamango

This place is definitely a local hotspot. I think in terms of the drinks here, it can be hit or miss. I say hit or miss because my two favorite flavors(Honey dew /coconut) are done very well here. My go to drinks are the«Honey dew tea with lychee jelly» or the«Coconut smoothie with lychee jelly». Now repeat after me, «I am in complete bliss.» Their drinks are like I said hit or miss, but overall they offer other selections there and I wouldn’t hesitate to come here and try the drinks. In terms of décor and atmosphere, it’s a weird cross between«starbucks» and«high school». You’ll see plenty of teens as well as college kids and young adults but honestly this would probably be the worst place to come here and study UNLESS you’re here during the weekdays in the afternoons. I’ve tried their popcorn chicken basket and their monkey crêpe and both are pretty good. In terms of pricing for their foods, I find it to be a little bit pricey. The popcorn chicken basket($ 8) could definitely shared between two people and it comes with a sauce very similar to Cane’s Chicken secret sauce(conspiracy perhaps?) The monkey crêpe is something I’ve gotten when I want something sweet and not a drink, and it’s basically a crêpe with banana slices inside and nutella smothered all over the inside and a dollop of whipped cream on the side. Both are absolutely delicious. They also offer board games for you to play with friends if you want to kill some time or just hang out. There are also comfy couches /sofas to sit on if you’re going to be there awhile. Sometimes this place gets so packed there is no place to sit down :( Overall the place is definitely a place to stop by and maybe chill and hang out with some friends or a place to catch up. It’s very clean, very friendly, and there are a variety of choices for drinks and food

Hands down, this place has the best almond milk tea I’ve ever had. Every other place I’ve tried tastes off and too processed. The almond milk tea here actually tastes like almonds and it’s delicious every time. The boba here is also good. A lot of places make it too sweet, but it’s perfect here.

I came into JavaLand earlier this evening(my first visit here ever) to catch up on some studying I needed to get done for a class. I don’t recommend to study here b/c the music they have playing over the speakers is louder than most places, but it is a very trendy spot to meet up w/friends, etc. I ordered a mangonada + chicken dumplings and I was very pleased w/the flavor of both. The dumplings are made fresh as ordered. However, the serving size of the drink is noticeably larger at Magic Cup for the same/less $ than what I spent here @ JavaLand.

This place is pretty cute. I got the mason jar tea with fruit and jelly in it. It’s nothing crazy lots of other tea places around there do the same thing the only difference is the presentation which was super cute. The tea was alright it was definitely sweet and tasted like strawberry flavoring and a hint of tea.(I like my teas a little less sweet but I’m not complaining because the sweetness wasn’t too overbearing) the tea was a bit expensive though. 5 dollars for the mason jar tea. I probably won’t get it again it was just something I wanted to experience. I’ll definitely come again to try other stuff there though.

There was a lot of excitement for Java land when it first opened. It came onto the scene and seemed to do most things better than its neighbor, tapioca house. But, as time when by, I realized it was just mediocre in flavor and the only thing worth getting for me were the mason jar drinks, which are pretty overpriced considering you can’t get to all the fruit at the bottom due to the ice. So, I went back to other boba places for a while occasionally dropping by Java if friends wanted to go. They’ve changed a lot since they’ve opened and for the better too. They’re offering a more diverse menu; Even offering sushi now, but kinda pricey(California roll for $ 7!) and starting to win me back as a regular. We went there a couple nights ago and I got the mangonada, popcorn chicken basket, and a slice of cheesecake. The mangonada is the best I’ve tried anywhere. The popcorn chicken, although I’ve had better, was tender and spicy with a spicy mayo on the side and fries and was pretty tasty. I don’t know if they make their cheesecake or if they get it from somewhere else but wow. It was creamy and smooth and not overly sweet. I would come here just for the cheesecake alone. In an area where there are so many boba places, Java land is stepping up their game. It offers a diverse menu and good atmosphere to come chill or to study.

Best jasmine milk tea around. Almond is also spectacular. Other places don’t have decent almond milk. Get a crêpe. Or two. Enjoy.

Order Taro milk tea without ice, last time I bought, the drink only reach the black line at the top, not the whole cup, I thought maybe they got receipt to make taro milk tea. so if I ask for no ice, I will just get this amount. But this time, the drink I got even less… didn’t notice after I got home, when the foam disappear, only maybe just a lil more than half the cup … Will not order again !

This is such a great place to hang out with friends or study/do homework. The atmosphere is very chill and cute. There is also a surprisingly large amount of seating available. I ordered the berry voodoo mason jar refresher($ 4.99) and it was delicious! The only downside to it was that I couldn’t eat all of the fruits in the drink. It was difficult to do, even with a large boba straw. I also ordered the popcorn chicken basket($ 8) which came with popcorn chicken, fries, and a small container of sauce. There was a large quantity of food given in one order as well, so if you aren’t too hungry you should share one with a friend(which is what I should’ve done). The meat in the popcorn chicken was dark and kind of slimy so it wasn’t THAT great. I enjoyed coming here though and will definitely come back again!

Their mason tea refresher jars are great and have lots of fruit! Their waffles are super filling too and I love the matcha green tea waffle and chocolate lover waffle. Don’t get the milk tea from here though or at least ask for no ice. I feel like half of it is boba and the other half is ice!

ever since java land moved next door to tapioca house, it seems like tapioca house just stopped trying(which means thumbs up for java land!). the atmosphere caters to young people, and they also have a huge seating area. sometimes my friend and i would come to chill and do work because it’s pretty quiet and they also serve food. the drinks here are decent — nothing special, nothing bad about them, just a little pricey for what you get. i’ve tried their regular milk tea, mango, coconut, almond, and thai, all of which were good. they also let me adjust my ice/sugar levels and can also make your bubble tea hot if you want. as for the food, i thought it was cute that they had chicken nuggets, but my friend and i didn’t finish them because they’re very starchy. all in all, i’ll probably keep throwing money at java land because they have great, fast service, good and consistent product, and isn’t far from my office. will definitely return.

I decided to give this place another chance and it failed me miserably. I got Taro Milk Tea and it just didn’t taste right. There’s a gritty taste to it and wasn’t pleasant. My friend got the Jasmine Milk Tea and it was much better than mine so I guess I just choose the wrong drinks. The restroom is nice though. Very roomy! It’s very crowded here so people are liking it. Unfortunately, it’s just not my cup of tea.

I went to this place yesterday with one of my friends to try to knock some stuff off our ‘to do list’. We ordered a Pineapple Mason Jar and a Tea Pot. Both drinks were absolutely amazing. I highly recommend getting a mason jar drink(the pineapple flavor espcially if you’re a fan of the fruit) if you want a great insta– worthy drink! The reason why I am giving this place 3 stars though is because it was way too loud. I understand that this is a café so people who wants to catch up, study, etc… stop by but, the music they were playing was blasting so loud that it gave me a headache after an hour or so. With the top pop songs from the early to mid 2000s blasting, those who were talking had to talk louder be able to hear their friends. My friend told me that the music is usually really quite so I may have just been there at the wrong time. Overall, this is a really great place to grab a cool drink and catch up with friends! But if you plan on trying to get some work done… I would look elsewhere!

Niiiiice! After having lunch at Royal Sichuan next door we went to Lava Land for coffee. It is a very cute place, espacious and well decorated, although simple. Very nice option in Chinatown. I had a Mangonata, absolutely great. It is a smoothie with mango and a «candy» like straw made of tamarind seasoned with chilly, lemon and sugar. Tamarind is very sour itself and it was very spicy. The mix works really well! The mango smoothie is sweet and salty, I kid you not. Comes in a large cup, wich I personally don’t think it was necessary. Smaller would be nice, but they have just one size of it. Their menu is huge, you can find bobba, teas, desserts, sandwiches, coffee… and sushi! For desserts from xreme brulee to flans to macarons to tiramisu. Asians prefer sweets usually with much less sugar than a regular dessert, let’s see other time if this Is the case here, Service was good, place was packed! Very nice option in the area!

I hadn’t reviewed this place yet because I only ever get one thing, every time I come. But it’s so good that I keep coming back for it… and plus the space itself is very nice and the employees are pretty friendly. So, it deserves a review anyway! Come here, and get the Thai iced tea with coffee jelly! It’s great! They also have an assortment of hot teas, coffees, desserts, and even savory items like popcorn chicken that you’ll typically find in a teahouse.

This place is pretty big, and when I went on a Saturday afternoon, I had the entire space to myself. A few people came in for to-go orders, but otherwise a sleepy day. The menu has a bunch of tea drinks, some super fancy festive mason jar drinks, and some blended drinks. For food, crepes and waffles! I resisted all the fancy stuff, and somewhat regret it(must go back for waffles!) — but the blended taro drink was pretty darn good.

$ 6 for popcorn chicken or chicken nuggets. I asked if they were the same. They said yes. But on the menu it says 15 pieces and on the receipt it says 10 pieces. Both are $ 6. In the end, I received 15 small pieces that it might as well be 10 regular pieces. Lol. You be the judge. The taste is just ok — crispy and kind of bready considering the pieces are small in the first place — and neither the chicken nor the breading are flavorful. Just spicy, unfortunately. The mason jar refreshers are pretty neat — filled with plenty of real fruits too. $ 4.99 and pretty big! I ordered the passion fruit lemonade and it was good. Also saw in the menu shown on TV indoors that they have beignets and beignet strips. I asked about them and they said they did not have it. Bummer.

Not bad. Coming from the Bay Area I’ve had much better but I like the atmosphere here. The fruity drinks were overpriced in my opinion and they gave way too much ice which made it difficult to get the little fruit pieces. The drink itself was good but too little for what you pay. Mason jar hype for sure. The Jasmine milk tea was good, not the greatest. Their flan was good too but nothing special about it. Was very packed on a Friday night.

BF and I usually come here after hot pot at Yoshi Shabu Shabu. He really likes the mason jar refreshers and the atmosphere is a nice hang out place to talk, study, or relax. I usually order iced teas here and they’re alright. A bit too sweet and artificial tasting for me. At least the smoothies seem to have more real fruit flavor. They serve snacks and desserts but I never had the chance to try them yet. Not a bad place if you’re in the area but I wouldn’t recommend driving out of your way here.
