Very Friendly staff. My first time, they helped me through the menu. I got the K-fries and a burger with an egg on it. The first few bites of the Kimchi fries weren’t that good, but they quickly grew on me and was wishing I had more when my plate was empty. They have some good beers as well.

These burgers are awesome. I love the LA burger. The buns are made fresh, they use only the best meat and grind it in house. The LA burger has a fried egg on it and kimchi. It was awesome!

Thought this was going to be a pub, but it’s little more fancier than just being a pub. I had the baby back ribs, and they’re awesome. Big enough to share for two. We sat at the bar to eat, it’s a good idea to get a reservation if you want a table.

Is it just me or is this place over-rated??? Feedback on their service: We came here at 4:30pm on a weekday. It was empty. There were 2 servers standing around gossiping. Didn’t greet us. They kept on talking until their convo finished before taking our order… I was like, sure, I’ll just stand here and wait for you guys to finish. We got the K-town burger, kimchi fries, and bulgogi hoagie and it was just«eh» for us. It didn’t blow us away, it honesty just tasted like a regular burger with some bad kimchi on top. I’m glad we came here on a Groupon and didn’t pay full price. It’s not a place that we’d crave and we won’t be going back.

I had multiple people tell me that this location was no good compared to the Carrollton one. I decided to try it one day with my girlfriend and I’m really not sure what they were talking about. I ordered the LA burger and some kimchi fries and I thought both were really good. I haven’t been to the Carrollton location to compare the two but this location delivers more than enough flavor in their food. The burger meat was super juicy(I like mine kind of medium) and the fries had great flavor all around while having a nice crispy texture. The staff was very nice and always came around to check on us. Our food came out pretty quickly as well. Don’t believe the rumors if you’ve heard them like I have, and give this place a try!

Been coming here for years, but after my last visit; not anymore. They need to work on their customer service. The Friday night before my Groupon expires, I went there with a group of friends to dine in. On the website it said they close at 10:00PM; we arrived at 9:00PM and was turned away because they were closing. No big deal. Saturday the next day, all I wanted was to use it before it expires to get my money worth. There was five of us in the car outside, we were told the Groupon was dine-in only. The restaurant was jammed packed and they empathize DINE-INONLY. I understand it stated dine-in but where were we suppose to dine. Every table was taken beside one or two seats by the window. We sure weren’t going to eat on the floor. And we were in a hurry so we weren’t waiting around for a family to finish eating and leave. And it seems like there was a kid at every table with maybe one of two toddlers in the restaurant, so the process for them to leave would be fairly long. The cashier guy was understanding enough, however the manager made a fuss about it; and he was the one who told us to leave the other night. I eventually had it taken into TO-GO boxes with difficulties. I don’t understand the problem of carrying it out. It’s not like they waited on tables so we weren’t cheating them out of a tip. We were just asking for styrofoam boxes so we can eat it at home but instead they wanted us to eat there where we could might as well abuse the soda machine, mess up the utensil station, drop food on the table or floor, or cause a ruckus and interrupt the other customer’s dining experiences. They need to look at the situation sometimes and make an exemption. Never coming back here again. Also it’s their fault that on their website, it clearly stated they were open til 10PM so we could have dined in the other night. So I don’t see how they can be so cut throat about the dine-in only policy if they can’t hold to what they stated on the website and stay open for another hour.

This is a «Must Try» restaurant. The customer service was great! The young man who took and brought my order to the table was so nice and attentive. The restaurant environment was cozy and clean. I ate the k-fries and LA Burger(on a wheat bun, without jalapeños). The fries had a little kick, but wasn’t too spicy. They were so good! I didn’t think I could finish them, but my greedy behind did. I was skeptical about the burger. #1 I’m not a real burger eater. I can go a year without touching a burger. I prefer to make my own at home. #2 A burger with egg? I didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The burger was real good. A little messy at first, but good. I like that they have rolls of paper towels on the tables. Oh, and I had the Strawberry Shortcake shake. Umm umm goood! I’m looking forward to my next visit. If you are tired of eating the same old stuff and want to try something different and great tasting, check this place out!

We’ve been to another LA Burger location in the past, but it has honestly been years. I couldn’t remember much about it before we came to this location last night. I have to say, I was really impressed by my West Coast burger! The cheese was deliciously melty, the onions and jalapenos added a nice bite, and the whole wheat bun was actually fantastic and contributed to the overall amazing flavor and texture of the burger. We also ordered the K-fries and I found out that I am not a fan of kimchi lol. Who knew? I do now, but DH loves kimchi and he thoroughly destroyed these fries with a big grin. The cashier was friendly and helpful, our order came out quickly, and service all around was great. This one’s a keeper!

I love this little restuaraunt but the server here made the experience awesome. He knew the menu and suggested other alternatives if we liked certain food. He also came by to ask how our experience was. All the servers were nice but he definitely went above and beyond!

Seoul dog was worth every bite. Tried the K-fries for the first time. Absolutely delicious! Worth every penny! A lot of fusion food falls on its face, however, this place is fantastic.

In short, you must get the K-tots!!! While the kimchi tots aren’t visually on the menu, they do indeed exist. They have better garnish cover than the fries and are absolutely superb. Take it from someone who had previously never tried kimchi, but fell in love at first bite! We found this joint on Unilocal on a Monday afternoon and it wasn’t cramped or uncomfortable. In fact, the dark interior and awesome background music was quite inviting to say the least. The staff were very friendly and upbeat. Our food arrived quickly and was piping hot! No cold meats here. They checked on us several times throughout our meal to see if we needed additional condiments, sides, or beverages. This place is clean, interesting and delicious.

I’m going to make this short and sweet(or should I say savory): LA Burger — a classic burger joint, except that it is a classic Korean burger joint. From serving nice tasting burgers to my all time favorite craving: Kimchi Fries, there is just something awesome about that concept together. I ended up getting the classic LA Burger itself along with kimchi fries Very awesome combination. The fried egg on top of the burger is what really makes a burger, and these people know how to do it right also! Kimchi fries were pretty balanced and good tasting, however, for the price I paid($ 6) with the volume of kimchi fries I got, I feel I should’ve gotten a bigger portion of them. So, I’ll dock a star off of this place because of pricing, y’all could go a little cheaper. Overall though, expect to see me back here more!

Short and simple review. I decided on their bulgogi tacos which were pretty good. Asked for no cilantro and onions. I also ordered the k fries, I was not really impressed with this. The reviews definitely gave me big expectations. I would’ve been better or with the tacos. Maybe I will try a burger next time since there is a burger in their title.

If you’re looking for some American Korean fusion you ought to give LA Burger a try. The burger was great. Large juicy and a fried egg to top it off. If you haven’t tried a fried egg on a burger don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. This one was great. I also had a side of Kimchee tater tots also with a soft fried egg. The combo was great. It was a great combo of potato crunch with warm egg yolk and the bite of Kimchee. You’ve got to try it. The place was clean and not overly busy when I went. The service was great and very fast. The guy who took my order checked on me throughout the time I was there. He was very friendly and hospitable… of course it is Texas. They have several TV’s that were showing a couple of different games, not quite a sports bar but added to the comfortable atmosphere. Would I come again? Absolutely.

If you’re not a spicy-food lover, then avoid the burgers. I ordered the signature LA burger, and it was just too spicy. Take the spiciness away, and it becomes a bit bland, or just doesn’t hold up to competition in this burger-loving city, simply because there’s not much else. Maybe I should have tried the Asian tacos instead, or something else.

I came on a relatively late weekday, and I was surprised to see it pretty empty. Fortunately, it only meant I received my food faster — and no complaints there. I ordered the LA Burger and split the kimchi fries(while they seem pricey for a side, I would recommend splitting them with a friend because it’s pretty filling with all of the toppings and so very worth it, yum). I didn’t realize how affordable their burgers are, especially considering how large the burgers are, too! I was impressed. However, the burger was impossible to pick up without the burger falling apart and spilling all over the place. My friend and I had to resort to removing the top bun and using a fork and knife, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of eating a burger in my opinion… Besides that though, there is so much flavor in their burgers, so good. Also, I wasn’t going to bother eating the top bun to save myself the calories. but it was nicely sweetened and toasted that I couldn’t resist. Service here is great too! They are very friendly, accommodating, and check up to make sure if everything is okay. As long as you don’t mind using lots of napkins or having to eat your meal the fancy way, the food here is worth it! Definitely looking forward to coming back for the bomb food(just wish I could actually enjoy their food without the messiness).

Korean fusion food. So. Good. I had the LA Burger because I figured for my first time I should try the namesake. You have the option of white or wheat bun. Burger comes with your standard hamburger with American cheese, jalapeños, lettuce, tomato, kimchi… and a FRIEDEGG. Yuhhh that’s how you do it. Didn’t have their kimchi fries but looks like you should share that if you’re watching your figure.

I had consulted the active members of Richardson’s Unilocal talk for suggestions on quiet, calm, and uncrowded places to show off the local food game for dinner on a Friday evening. I received several good suggestions from a number of different Unilocalers. Keli M., Penny M., and E K. all suggested LA Burger. After my bidness was taken care of on the other side of 75 I set out exploring. I ended up choo-choo-choosing this joint. There was plentiful parking outside in the lot and it wasn’t too boisterous as I walked in. As you walk in from the parking lot the bar is immediately to your left. The seating table area and soda fountain are off to your right. This is a place you wait in line then place your order and pay at the till. It’s not a gentlesir waiter, white tablecloth, and leather-bound menu type place. I liked that it was casual since I was dressed casually, after having been in a suit all day I was not going to spend more time in a suit than I already had to since 5am. If you did not consult the online menu before arriving, the menu is displayed on the wall behind the register. I went with the namesake LA Burger because«fried egg on my burger? heck no!» said nobody sensible ever. Fried egg on burger is magic. It doesn’t matter what kind of burger or any other details. The fried egg alone makes it all magic. I learned all of this and more at Fatburger when I was out in Los Angeles for extended periods of time for work. The fried egg is why Fatburger is my main chick; In N Out is the side chick I don’t tell anyone about because loose lips sink ships. I was really jazzed about the Kfries too because it involves everything I like about Korean food and fusion since it involves muh freedom fries too. If you check in with the Unilocal app on your mobile you get a free soft drink from the soda fountain. To give your main q’s some a’s: Yes, they have Dr. Pepper. Yes, the fountain works fine and the Dr. Pepper comes out carbonated and as delicious as ever. Yes, the impossible-to-find lids are actually hooked on to the soda fountain on the left side. However, yes, the cashier will actually click away your check-in offer as used … [Tituss Burgess voice] UNLIKESOMEOTHERRESTAURANTS A review of their food in two acts. Burger($ 6.99) The LA Burger goes beast mode on what a hamburger is. The wheat bun itself is a stand out star if we begin there. It is slightly sweet, but very chewy and slightly moist so it nearly melts away in your mouth. Inside the bun the magic starts with an angus patty with a slight hint of teriyaki marination. The first layers of toppings are the kimchi and then the jalapenos followed by the standard lettuce and tomato. My only note is I wish it had a lot more jalapenos. This is where the K-Town burger stops and the add-ons that constitute the LA Burger begin. At this point the online menu tells me that I have been on a journey to Koreatown and quelled my asian fever. [pats your knee sympathetically] Hon, I mostly date Asians so I still have that fever but thanks for trying; you tried your best. The LA Burger adds a fried egg and American cheese on top of what you get with the K-Town burger. The fried egg by itself is worth every penny. The kimchi is the strongest flavor on the first bite into the burger so you say something like«Nice!» or «Super sweet!» as the angus patty and the slightly sweet bun all come into focus. The egg comes next, depending on positioning, probably not in the first bite. Once the fried egg is in the mix you need a minute to settle down, because this burger is giving you the vapors. It’s that good. Korean fusion at it’s best because it involves a fantastic cheeseburger and just makes it so much better with the Korean elements. Kfries($ 5.95) Kimchi, cheese, bulgogi, onion, and a secret-ish sauce of sorts. My body is ready. I was unaware of the cilantro garnish(the devil’s ditch weed) so I know for next time to tell them no cilantro, and to take the cilantro out back and shoot it. I hate cilantro. But it was easy to knock off the fries. I believe their online site when they say«America’s favorite foods, with Seoul» because they took some shoestring freedom fries, slapped some lipstick on that already-pretty-attractive-pig, and now every boy and girl in town wants to take these Kfries to prom. There’s nothing not to like about the Kfries, besides I wish they were hotter. Some Unilocalers(on the biz review page, not my Unilocal talk crew) complained about them being too hot so even though I am a spicehound I was still expecting to feel a tiny kick, But no, didn’t even register as mild. Not a problem. Just was expecting a little heat in there based on some elite Unilocaler reviews. My food was brought out relatively quickly, definitely less than the 10 minutes that the cashier quoted me. All in all it was an enjoyable dinner to showcase a highly-recommended local joint(even though it’s a chain that started out in Irving) to a traveler. Thanks Unilocal fam!

This location is actually better then the other one, but they are both good tho. Things they have here that the other place don’t have: — A nice bar — More seats — Nicer decoration
