First off this place was a little difficult for me to find(I really suck at directions even with Siri directing me) but when I found it, it was tucked away in a little strip. The inside and parking lot were quite small but it wasn’t busy when I went so I had no trouble. You order at the counter and everything is self serve. I ordered one of the chicken burgers and my bf got the gyro. We also had an order of sweet potato fries. Everything turned out delicious. The prices went up another dollar or so from one of the pictures I saw posted 3 years ago but it was ok I went to try out the place. Total for burger, gyro, two drinks and 1 order of fries was 24 dollars. I thought it was kinda pricey for a quick eat but at least it was filling. The reason for 3 stars is because service was a little on the rude side. I was the only one in line and he had an irritated look on his face because I needed a second to look at the menu(being it was my first time there). Also they ran out of tea and as I was poring some in my cup it was just water and the cashier/manager walked by twice without even saying anything. The condiments station was gross. 85% of the sauces were empty and crusted over. I did try some spicy ketchup they had and it was pretty good. I might come here again if I’m in the mood for another burger.

OMG this was so good. The burger was so flavorful and the fries crispy and yummy. Add on the fact that they have jalapeño ketchup and it couldn’t get any better. I will definitely be back to try some other menu items.

I work right around the corner from this place and we eat here once a week at least. Great food, fair pricing, and it’s always ready quickly and fresh. Fries are on point, jalapeño ketchup is delicious, and all the sandwiches and burgers are great!

Was in the mood for a gyro and decided to try this place out. It’s very quaint looking on the outside but the inside is very neat and well put together. Got my gyro and while yes it was big, I’ve had better at other places(Afrah, Little Greek.) The meat was kind of dry and the pita was kind of tough. Was expecting it to taste juicier and the bread to be warm and fluffy. I’d consider coming back and trying a burger but won’t get the gyro again

Went here a couple weeks ago and split a Gyro and the olive burger with a coworker. The gyro meat was superb and they give you a large quantity of meat. The burger was also really good. I had to try it since it was named after the restaurant. Next time I might try one without olives unless I’m in the mood for olives. Overall great place and will be back.

Loved this intimate burger joint! I purchased a grilled chicken salad with a side of sweet potato fries and my lunch companion purchased the bacon burger regular fries. The chicken on the salad was moist and tender and very well seasoned! I loved it and can’t wait to eat it again. The dressing on the side was unnecessary with the flavor of the chicken. The sweet potato fries were unfortunately finished with sugar but add a bit of salt and they were perfect. The jalapeño ketchup was intense but an excellent combination for the fries. The bacon burger was juicy and flavorful with thick bacon slices cooked perfectly. I didn’t try the regular fries but they looked great. My companion said the gyros are equally tasty! This is definitely«must come back and try more» restaurant and worth the drive to Richardson!

My husband and I came here for Dinner on a Wednesday night and the place was pretty packed. There were few large parties that were dining and few in line. We ordered quickly but it did take about 30 mins to get two burgers and fries. The wait was long but ohh soo worth it. The best halal burger in Dallas. I am from Chicago and this burger was very close to Epic Burger which is my fav. The meat had a lot of flavor and thats what I liked the most. We ordered Olive Burger & Mushroom. Both were delish, heard Jalepeno is the best so will try that next. I can’t wait till I go back, maybe tonight. My advice to the staff is to shorten the time to prepare. I understand its fresh but still !!

Phenomenal burger, it was the ½lb olive burger. Cannot wait to come back and try more items from their menu. The place gets busy quick, but I was there when they were really busy, but it did not impact the quality of the food they made. In short, go here and eat up folks.

I eat burgers at least 2 times a week. This place has the best burgers in Dallas! I’ve gotten almost everything on the menu and everything is super awesome. Make sure you try the jalapeño ketchup! I could eat that on everything

Only been here once but I can’t seem to get it out of my mind. My wife and I have been trying all the halal burger places around DFW and I think we can stop searching now. I got a regular cheese burger and it was awesome, the size, the amount(½ lb patty), and of course, the FLAVOR. It was a freshly made, juicy, sizzling burger that just sorta melts in your mouth. The melted cheese, crisp-cold lettuce and the perfect bun just made it even better. Man, my mouth is watering just from thinking about it. Ambience is great as well(unlike 99% of all halal joints) although the outdoor sign could use a little work to match the inside vibe. We went on a Friday night and it had a decent amount of people, mostly non-muslims which is a great sign of the quality of the place. Menu is easy to read and so is that halal logo. I give everything 5 stars, especially the flavor and quality which are most important to me. Texting my wife to go there again tonight :)

I just moved to Dallas and I’ve been on the hunt for the best Halal burger and I think I’ve found it! Omg, Olive Burger is drool worthy. The sign outside made me think it was just going to be another hole in the wall burger joint but when I walked inside it had a cool vibe almost bordering Umami in LA. Anyways, I had the Jalapeño cheese burger and it was everything I wanted and more. The thing that sets this place apart from others is their MEAT. Not only is the quality superb but the way they perfectly char grill the patties is what adds another dimension to the burgers. In addition, the buns are perfectly toasted and the entire burger just fuses into something heavenly. Also tried the chili cheese fries which were pretty amazing but a little too heavy duty for me. Next time I’ll stick with regular fries. Well, my mouth is watering just writing this review… Until next time!

Hmmm. I waited a while to give my review since I have some mixed feelings about this place. The atmosphere is ok, even though I was a bit discouraged to eat here considering the location and the tacky signs they have plastered on their door. I ordered this ultimate burger that had bacon and jalapenos. It took a while for me to receive them, but then again I was really hungry after just finishing my workout. THe first thing I didnt like was how all the veggies are on the bottom. This is definitely a preference, but I ended up eating the burger upside down, since I like the moisture from the veggies to be on top. The meat itself was solid, but it wasnt amazing. It didnt moo with flavor, and the veggies and bacon did alot of the bulk work for flavor composition. Its definitely a good size for what you pay for(I think its bigger than a regular burger island burger?) I like how all the condiments are accessible by the soda fountain, although sanitation of other customers cross my mind. Surprisingly enough, I didnt feel it was too greasy or salty. I still needed to down some water, but not as much I normally would. Im not sure what this place should be rated for sure, but I know its not amazing. I had high expectations, considering the score it has. I wish I could like this place, considering I could walk from my place to here(maybe that’s not a good thing). Overall, I dont feel compelled to come here again, unless a friend insist on coming here, or my boss decides to treat us to lunch.

I was in the neighborhood and was craving a gyro so I gave this place a shot. It’s kind of tricky if you are coming from Hwy 75. It’s on the left and there is no turning lane, so turn at the light and hook around through the parking lot. It’s totally worth the tricky directions. It’s a small place but kind of roomy inside. It’s kind of a Mediterranean burger joint, they have gyros and some chicken dishes also. The people working there were super nice and the food was terrific! Some gyros at other places are stingy with the meat, but not here. This gyro was big and stuffed with meat and veggies and it was so good! I had fries and a drink with it and it was worth every penny. It was about $ 12 for everything, so not a bad price. I will defiantly come back next time I’m in the neighborhood.

ENVIRONMENT: It’s not a big restaurant but there is a big enough to area to support a large group. They have a flat screen tv but when I was there it was on but there was not a program on at the time. The facility was extremely clean, even the grill was pretty much spotless. PRICING: The prices for the burgers and chicken sandwiches were very reasonable. For what you would spend on a larger value meal at a Jack in the Box or McDonalds you would be able to get a more quality burger for pretty much the same price. SERVICE: It’s just like a burger joint. You order up front, they throw it on the grill and BOOM! Here goes your food. The guys who run it are very nice and friendly peeps! But what do we really care about? THEFOOD! So I got the Ultimate Burger and boy did it not disappoint. The burger was very large and filling. Patty was a good solid size and it was seasoned great and juicy. The my topped it with bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and mayo. I’m probably missing somethings but shoot it was good. I got a side of fries and they were hot and seasoned heavily but didn’t taste salty or anything. They were good. I give it a 2CB Thumbs Up! I have spoken…

Where do begin.(sigh) I had such high hopes for this place. I read the majority of reviews and decided I’d give it a try. Avocado Burger I looked delicious! I couldn’t wait to take a big bite. It was hanging off the bun! Always a good thing to see. Sadly, that’s where my excitement ended. The bottom bun was very soggy. So soggy it tore into pieces when I tried to pick it up. The avocado was a little on the brown side and smushed into the top bun. And the red onions, usually my favorite part of a burger, weren’t even edible. I couldn’t even bite through them! Gyro Combo/Plate The pita reminded me of a cracker. I tried to fold it and I ended up with 3 pieces. My meat was also overcooked. I can say that the gyro sauce was tasty. Not traditional. It tasted like mayo and sour cream mixed with pickles. Not to bad. It came with a handful and a half of lettuce? Why is there lettuce on a gyro? I don’t know. It was almost like having a side salad. I paid $ 11.25 for that gryo combo and it didn’t even come with fries. The portion size isn’t worth the money in my opinion. I won’t give them a second chance.

If you’re Muslim and you eat zabihah(Muslim kosher), then this food alone should drive you to non-zabihah. It’s terrible. The ONLY reason this place has near five stars is because Muslims who cant eat non-Zabihah meat have propped it up, because they’ve never really had a real burger. They just don’t know any better. Proving yet again, that the Dallas zabihah scene is close to garbage. If you want a burned limp burger with whatever bread, this place is it! Want to mask the meat with sauces and toppings? You’ll have to in order to consume it. Don’t bother with the ‘doner’ ‘shiwarma’. The chef here has never had either a doner or shiwarma. You’ll get a frozen, ready-made pita bread with GRILLEDCHICKENSTRIPS! NOT.EVEN.JOKING! Doner is supposed to be thin shaved meat and shiwarma is a little thicker shaved meat. In finale, it’s sad to see the Muslim foody scene in Dallas so desensitized that you folks can’t tell the difference between good and terrible food. There was one time when Grand Café was the bastion of zabihah-ness and now we see establishments such as Olive Burger and Dimassi’s(generally regarded as the golden corral of buffets from Houston aka another black hole for your money) filled to the door. My advice: 1) switch to non-zabihah to enjoy the benefits of the dunya, 2) open new restaurants which can bring credibility to the Dallas zabihah scene, and 3) keep going to Fadi’s(Houstonian establishment) and Noodle Wave Best of luck Dallas and SALAMZ!

After a devastating fire, Olive Burger is now once again open. This time they are serving breakfast in addition to their delicious ½ pound hamburgers. Service is friendly and the food is very good. One of the best hamburgers in all of Dallas area. Everything is new inside the seating and cooking area. Prices are very good — $ 4.95 for a half pound hamburger. They are serve yuros.

Mmmm was I craving a burger. I read through their reviews and impulsively, I was already halfway there. I ordered just a standard cheeseburger with all the fixings. Their burgers are so big that next time I think I will just split one with My wife. I loved the char on the burger. Made a wonderful seasoning. I’m a bit of a french fry snob and their fries were on point. Crispy but not over done. Bravo. I will be back on My next«cheat meal».

After seeing the reviews and craving something different in a burger, we ambled over to Richardson. Geez, I don’t get over there enough! So many options and places I’ve been dying to try! I digress… It’s an unassuming little place in a strip mall in the land that time forgot, which gives it some charm. The service is just fine, menu options are plentiful and you can watch the folks prepare your order. Pretty cool; fire grilled meat! How can that be wrong? Both of us ordered the #2, cheeseburger. Now, you don’t get asked how you want it cooked, so there’s that. I thought the patty was a little overdone, but it had a nice fire-kissed char on it. Toppings were standard; I like the purple onion. Fries and tots were crispy and just right. The jalapeño ketchup is a little more«vivid» than I expected and I had to dilute it with regular to make it tolerable. All in all a straight up, no apologies, no frills burger place. Not really a destination for me, but not bad if I’m in the neighborhood.

Any place that does Bacon which can satisfy our Jewish and Muslim friends in the area deserves 4 stars. Halal/Kosher meat is actually a higher quality near due to many reasons including the fact that the animals used for it’s production have a better quality of life as many injuries to the animal will render it unhalal/unkosher. They also grow in less crowded conditions. That all transfers to the meat quality being good. As far as how the burger was, well I eat burgers about three times in a year at most so I don’t tend to be the toughest to please when it comes to a burger since anything that satisfies that craving can be good! Nonetheless this was very good! Mushrooms, Bacon and a juicy burger patty with some yellow american cheese that I would never buy to use at home but it seemed to work on this burger! Sure its not Five stars, but if you are craving a burger as I was that day its a solid 4! Also don’t use the Habanero sauce on the condiment counter unless you are immune to third degree burns on your tongue.
