In our quest to hit every taco truck in the Tri-cities we drove past El Quetzal numerous times before we finally found it open. Unfortunately, our persistence was not adequately rewarded. We found the adobada to be underseasoned, tortillas were subpar and the salsa roja had a very sour, unpleasant aftertaste. With Tacos Super Uno and Tacos el Gordo just down the road there are much better options in Richland.

Every one of these Taco trucks that pop up seem to have their specially item, the one they rock at and for this one, it is there Burritos. They come with EVERYTHING(even rice and beans) and you cant beat the flavor in these. ps. Get Adobada as the meat. I usually do lettuce instead of cabbage. You won’t regret it, I get it every time :) Bring cash btw, they don’t take card.

Man, as far as taco trucks go, I have to give this place some props. $ 4 tortas, $ 4 burritos as well as $ 1.25 tacos. The dude who takes orders is really nice and remembers me when I come by as well as when I’ve been away for a while. They are also open fairly late – around 10pm.
