Not here anymore. Have not seen or heard of them for awhile. Don’t know where they went. Pretty good pizza for the price wish they would pin down a location

I travel the U.S. For a living. I have had pizzas in NY, Chicago etc. I can honestly say that this is one of the better pizzas places in the Tri Cities. Flavorful and delicious all the way trough. When you get the Pepperoni pizza be prepared to get 2 different types of Pepperoni.. The Meat Lovers is also delicious and the Mediterranean has its own flavor as well. All good… Thank god for places like this cause Pizza Hut and Dominoes are not even close is quality…

Review is not on the food since I’ve never been able to try it. Today is the fifth or sixth time in the last several months that I have tried to dine here. Each time they have been closed, without notice on their Facebook or their voicemail. I know it’s hard to be a small, locally owned business and I have given them many chances, but they need to communicate with customers in any way they can. I have heard great things about their pizza, but I doubt I will ever try it now as I am simply not going to waste any more time trying to go to a place that never seems to be open and can’t be bothered to update their phone message or Facebook page consistently.

We love the crust and I love The Marguerita! And my husband loves the very meaty one! Love the Spotted Fox Deals. Don’t always remember to look here! I’d like if they could text us and a number to set it up like wineries and other restaurants!

Best pizza in the tricities, hands down. I was skeptical to try Esternos at first because it was basically just an oven in the middle of a parking lot, but my dad kept telling me how great it was and how we should try it. He wasn’t kidding! This pizza is SO incredibly good. I love the thinner crust and their sauce is the perfect compliment to their yummy cheese blend. Their variety of toppings will make even the pickiest eaters happy. I myself love their simple pepperoni pizza. They also have drinks here, and I love that I can get a blood orange pellegrino(hard to come by here!) to sip on while my pizza is cooking. The service is also excellent, the guys here are friendly and always make our visit more enjoyable. I recommend this place for sure!

Yummy pizza ! Pretty fast service . You’re basically standing outside though, so be conscious of the weather . I froze the first time I went.

Excellent service and very good pizza. I had the chicken bacon ranch. I would have liked a bit more ranch flavor but that’s just my own liking. The pizzas are very well crafted and high quality. The owner really has a passion for his business. Highly organized, but there is just one guy here so it isn’t one too stop at when you’re in a hurry although the pizzas cook very fast.

Delicious thin crust, wood fired pizza, plenty of variety, cooked right in front of you. Fast. Flavorful. You can even pick up a few things from Ace Hardware while waiting for the pizza to cook(usually not more than 5 minutes).

Great wood fired pizza. I have watched and chatted with the cooks while waiting for my pizza. The cooks do a great job of keeping the fire controlled, and the pizza in a good position in relation to the fire to get a pizza to cook perfectly. They pay attention and ensure that they rotate the pizza so it evenly cooks. You want to see how pizza is suppose to be cooked in a wood fired oven, just stop by their location in the ACE hardware store on Keene. This establishment since it is a trailer has changed locations in the past, and the hours sometimes were hard to determine whether they would open or not. Recently, I think the hours of operation has been more stable and predictable.

NOT closed after all! The guy working there today said they had to close for about a week and a half but they are back up now! I was bummed to think I might have missed my chance to try this pizza so imagine how thrilled I was to see the flames going strong in the Ace Hardware parking lot on Keene. Ordered the chicken bacon ranch as a first pass and it was delicious. The dough is made fresh every day and it had just the right balance of crunchy and chewy– which was great because I frequently think thin crust is too crunchy. It cooks so fast– we were in and out within 3 minutes! Not bad for gourmet pizza. If you want to call in your order or check to make sure they are open, the number on the take out menu is 509−713−9112. And confirmed they do take credit cards too.

Best pizza we’ve ever had, anywhere, not to mention in the Tri-cities! All three of the pizzas we tried are finger licking good: chicken bacon ranch, BBQ chicken, and pesto chicken. All ingredients are fresh, and the pizza is freshly made when you order it, then put into a wood fire oven. This is definitely a must try if you’ve never done so, and we will surely keep coming back!

They closed down! Saw the sign by the road, read all the awesome reviews and couldn’t wait to try the pizza… but couldn’t find the place. Called the number listed and got a recording with the bad news.

The best pizza I have eaten in Tri Cities. Without question. Quality ingredients, freshly made, cooked in a wood fire oven? Can’t beat that! They were very polite and we had a good time chatting for the whole 5 mins it took to make and cook the pie lol. Without hesitation, you HAVE to go try this place.

EDIT: Ok, ok. It’s not fair to compare Esterno’s to another pizza place in another state. Changed from four stars to five because really, this is the best pizza in the tri-cities. ORIGINALREVIEW: I really really really like this place. Really. And I truly believe this is the best pizza in the tri-cities. Unfortunately for Esternos, my heart is claimed by another pizza place in another state, which is the only reason it’s not getting five stars. BUT, for the tri-cities, this is the place to go. Fresh, fast, made in front of you pizza. I really like the Margherita, which usually isn’t a pizza I go for, but Esterno’s proves that sometimes going back to the basics is the way to do it. The Mediterranean is another favorite. Every weekend we face the same question — Esternos or not Esternos?(Esternos usually wins.) There’s not much more to say, other than this: if you’re getting your pizza from anywhere other than Esternos, you’re doing it wrong.

I am silly and missed that these guys were street vendors, so I had a bit of a double take moment when I pulled up. But this guy knows his stuff and carefully tends to each pizza bubbling away in the what must be absolutely hellaciously hot oven. His daughter(I assume) was making the pies and they had a good flow going, even when he had to stop and take orders. We had the Mediterranean pizza, which was fantastic. I mean, there’s really not much else to say, is there? Want thin crust, proper pizza in tri cities? Come here. He said he was looking at moving over to the Ranch and Home parking lot eventually. Next time, I will probably sit in the parking lot and eat the pizza right there — it had cooled off a bit by the time we got over to Amon park.

Best pizza in tri-cities hands down. Brick house and casa mia come in second and third. Staff is super friendly and fast. All the ingridients are fresh and delicious.

Esternos has moved back to Queensgate from his spot over on Keene Plaza by Ace hardware. The owner indicated he might move back to Keene Plaza at a later date, so if he isn’t at one place make sure you check the other location. I was skeptical when I first saw the cook making our pizzas. Looked like a tortilla with pizza stuff on it. The sign says«Pizzas cook in about 90 seconds». Again, I was skeptical. When I’m wrong, I’m so wrong. HOLYCRAP! It took about 3 – 4 minutes for all 3 of our pies to be done. The crust is thin and amazing. To quote a chain guy«Better ingredients make better pizza». They do! The tomato and meats and onions are so fresh and delicious. The meats are even better. This was the most amazing thin crusted delicious pizza I have ever had,(outside of my visits to Naples years ago) AND it came from a friggin TRAILER! A Mobile wood fired pizza oven! I can’t tell you enough. Go, see it, order it, eat it… you will NOT be disappointed. Now. get out of here and go buy a pizza!

First time visit today. Wife and I each ordered a personal sized(8″) pizza. She got the Mediterranean, I got the Italian Sausage and Bacon. Both were very good pizzas. There was a line when we got there, but we only waited 10 minutes total, from time of order to walking away with our food. Not bad at all.

After recent workouts at the Richland Gold’s Gym, my food detectors(aka nose, belly, eyes) have noticed a new food truck along the drive home. The hustling and bustling Queensgate area of Richland is the home of a wood-fired-oven truck. And this new truck is specializing in pizza pies. Pizzas cooked by apple wood fire. The truck has only been open for a couple of weeks, but I’ve noticed a few customers waiting for pies. Their current menu consists of Italian & American pizzas. You have roughly about a dozen choices, but you can also make your own with all the topping offers they have. I went with the Chicken Bacon Ranch«American» pizza. The dough is said to be made fresh daily. And once you pick your pie, they make it right there, and then queue it for the oven. The oven is impressive. It looks like a big flat mound of something brown. It has a small opening, and in here you can see some wood embers, and if you get close enough you can definitely feel the heat! It was cool to see my pizza get picked up and then slid into the oven. They have a sign that says their pizza can be cooked in 90 seconds. I don’t know about that… maybe 120seconds. ;) But yeah, it was fun to watch my pizza in the oven get cooked and change. The cook and I were chatting while it was cooking, and he definitely knew what he was doing. Even down to finishing off the pizza by holding the pizza high in the oven to get the top browned before removal. While talking about the oven it was interesting to hear about the capabilities of the oven. It really is an old school engineering marvel. Apparently it can get to temperatures up to 1100 degF. And one must know the geometry of the oven innards and the convection currents to know hot to cook in it. This guy definitely was a master of his machine. And as for the pizza? Oh yeah! It was super tasty. The sauce was super good. The chicken and bacon were tasty as well as the artichoke hearts. It was thin crust pizza with the crust being nicely crunchy. The Chicken Bacon Ranch and I will definitely be friends.
