This place was a random impulse stop. I’m glad we did. They were nice and the place was cute and the food was delicious. $ 9.50 for a decent size calzone with 5 tops max +cheese and you pick the sauce! Plastic cups a cute with little thumb slot, free refills, high chairs, chalk wall for kids to color on. Fun place. Check it out.

This place has great, delicious food! Their calzones are big and filling. Seating and aesthetic is great. Also the hospitality and customer service is on point! This place has made a great first impression on me. I’ll be back! Keep up the good work!

It was better when it was the folded pie instead of the folded pizza pie. The best way I could describe it is when it was the folded pie they played Simon and garfunkel and Hendrix now they play usher and today’s radio. This idea has been reflected through their food

I really, really wanted to love this place, but I just didn’t. The inside and cute and welcoming, the couple very friendly. The food, however, I felt was mediocre at best, and way, way overpriced. $ 34 for 2 for lunch seems a bit much. I was also very excited to see they made their own lemonade. When she brought it out she also brought a couple sugar packets and warned that it might be a bit tart. I don’t mind a little tart, but this was clearly lemon juice and water only I’m afraid… yikes! I do like to support local, non-chain restaurants… I just hope they make it.

The place has had new owners for about a month. They are really trying to make the place a success. I had the hummus and pita chips, I found it a little bland. My dad had the calzone. The crust was very flavorful, good toppings, you’ll want to get a side of marinara to go with it. It was pretty busy for lunch but the wait was reasonable. Most of the negative reviews happened with the old owners, so give it a try, you might be surprised.

Great service; super friendly couple; excellent calzones! Coming here again and a treasure for Richland. Oh — try the homemade marinara sauce!

Went there on a Friday night with my wife. The calzones offer a good selection of toppings. They came out perfectly cooked, golden brown and crispy. Quality ingredients and good crust. Will definitely be going back. Would be 5* with some remodeling.

This was our second visit, first one was ok, second visit was take out with 4 different calzones. My calzone dough was not golden or cooked through. I was disappointed marina sauce was not served with my folded pie. We will not be returning.

Came in 30 minutes after opening today. The«open» sign was off so I was a but unsure from the start. After standing at the counter for 5 minutes whistling for the kid running the place and debating going elsewhere, he came over and asked«what’s up?» And he removed the half filled cup sitting on the counter covering the slips of paper that serve as menu’s. We ordered, $ 23 for two people. The place was completely empty, but two other groups came in after we sat down at an obviously uncleaned table decorated with what I can only assume was yesterday’s crumbs. We then began to marvel at the complete lack of any décor, save for a TV displaying Pandora streaming music for the restaurant against their licensing terms and conditions. I guess that is okay though given that it only last through two songs before displaying a nifty error message and leaving us with the ambiance of the mixer clanking away endlessly for what I am suspecting will be very tough over beaten dough. We commented between each other about the window mount air conditioner sitting on a stool behind the counter to pass the time while waiting. Last I checked they are meant to be in a window to actually exhaust the heat they generate, but I’m no HVAC professional so I could be wrong. That could also explain the visibly exposed fiberglass insulation someone stuffed in the corners. It was a striking contrast to the rest of the ceiling, given that the rest is all black. I suppose looking up front to see if there are customers is an inconvenience, maybe they should try a or something, on the door, or the counter, but that might be too decorative. While waiting a third group came in and waited for the kid, passed the time reading the slip of paper and decided to leave after several minutes. I assumed he was busy making our food. I was marveling at the silver duct work spliced into the black ductwork and the fact that the HVAC was actually set to 80, and I confirmed it was cooler outside. I grabbed the last plastic fork in the tray next to the full try of knives and took a moment to wipe the crumbs off of the handle. My food arrived, 29 minutes later, and the kid advised my counterpart it would be another minute for his. A fifth group came and went after a second kid rolled in on his skateboard and rolled directly behind the counter. I enjoyed my Costco chicken bake. That’s the closest comparison I can find, but without the seasoned crust. Hot pockets are smaller, and generally not burned on the bottom. I gave my fork to a child that was searching the counter for one, as I had not used it. The second kid, still wearing the beanie he rode in with took an order from another group and got himself a soda. Thankfully the child I graced with the magical fork started singing«I believe I can fly», which at least improved the ambiance. I know this place has been heavily advertising on the radio, but that money would probably be better spent on décor, ingredients, staff training, uniforms, or even a dress code, and maybe even plates instead of serving a «calzone» in a basket meant for some fries.

Fail. I’m actually waiting on my food, but won’t bother updating this even if it’s fantastic. Was told 25 min, that was 45 min ago. I went to check on my order and he was«making it now.» In nearly an hour I’ve seen about 8 calzones leave the kitchen. No doubt, this is the one and only time I visit this restaurant.

Tasty calzone. Good sized portion for the price. Music was kinda loud and obnoxious. And it was a little dark inside. But the food was great!

Ordered pesto sauce, mozz cheese, all veggies except onion and it was amazing. Reason for not 5 stars– no hot sauce and waited too long for beers and food on a thursday night at 7:30. We will be back. Yum.

Nice break from the alternative in Tri-Cities. Friendly service of a great product. Get the salad to balance the calzone. You will be glad you did. Their only drawback is that they are not open on Sundays. Makes me very sad.

This place was great. My girlfriend and I ran in there on a whim because every time we think of going, we’re always on the wrong side of hours or days open. Delicious food, the crusts are hand folded and crispy on the outside, nice and thin! I got basil, sausage, red sauce, and I don’t remember what else, but it was yummy! My girlfriend got the suggested buffalo chicken, and man that was good! Spicy, and tasty. Portions were generous, and my girlfriend had a couple beers. Great place, and we’ll be back again!

Decided to stop by on my way home from work, and am so happy I did! I’m not calzone expect or even calzone enthusiast, but I thought they were fantastic. I ordered the Chicken/Bacon/Ranch and couldn’t put it down. My husband did the build your own, and cleaned his plate completely. If you’re hesitant about stopping in, I’d say go for it. It’s worth the wait!

Great new calzone spot in Tri-Cities. They don’t have a huge menu — they keep it simple and focus on what they do best. Friendly staff. Nice simple décor. The food came out very quickly just as I ordered it, fresh and hot. Highly recommend this for lunch. Order with breadsticks and sauce and it would make for a great dinner too. And it’s vegetarian friendly!

Stopped in after reading the reviews of the other local Unilocalers in the area. i was in the mood for something on the lines of pizza and the place that popped into my head was this restaurant the Folded Pie. After seeing some photos of others posting saying its around $ 8.00 for a calzone with a salad and drink. Well I’m assuming they upped their prices yet again. I ordered just the calzone since I’ve had some on the east coast at a NY pizzeria. I go in and the restaurant is just dead around dinner time, the only customers was myself and one couple. I ordered a calzone with pepperoni, onions, and pineapple. The house sauce was pretty good and had a nice zesty flavor. The pepperoni was overpowering the other ingredients by far. The huge chunks of pepperoni slices however did not cook all the way, so it made my calzone just luke warm. i also noticed that there was little to no cheese in the mini calzone. When you bite into the calzone and pull away, there was a non existing cheese pull. It was ok, I can only describe it as an over priced pizza pocket, the dough was better than a hot pocket. I don’t think for the price, your not getting what you paid for which is really disappointing! The décor of the restaurant is atrocious and not laid out really well. I would recommend other places if you want value for your money. If they improve the size of their«calzone» add real mozzarella cheese and improve their pricing, I’ll consider going back to give them another chance! I went with high hopes and felt let down

Great little calzone place located on Wellsian Way in Richland. Fresh ingredients, great service, neat atmosphere. You build your own pies from a small list of options. Here is what I think would really help: — Recommended calzones — already designed — More ingredient options(at least what you can get at a normal pizza shop) — Great salads for the non calzone eaters(chef, shrimp, Mediterranean, etc) — Beer and Wine

I had high hopes for this place, but was slightly disappointed. $ 8 gets you a calzone, side salad, and drink. You get to choose 3 meat/vegetables to go in your calzone and choose from one of three sauce choice: BBQ, red, or white. You get to fill your own drink which is nice for refills. The portion size was good. You won’t have anything to take home, but you will not leave feeling hungry. I felt the prices were very reasonable. I got the white sauce with chicken, peppers, and mushrooms. The bread on the calzone is fantastic. Also, the mozzarella is obviously high quality. The white sauce was good. The vegetables were uncooked and raw and I found that to be my biggest disappointment and really ruined my meal. My husband got the red sauce with sausage, peppers, and onions. He thought it was just ok too. There were only 2 people there when we went with our party of 3 and we waited a long time for a our food. At least 20 minutes. The long wait with the poor inside of the calzone will make it so we do not want to return. If there is more effort put in to the cooking of the toppings and the vegetables I would consider trying it again. I think this place will actually do ok in the Tri-Cities. I just have other places I would much prefer to eat at.

Great Food for a Great Price !! I was a little skeptical at first going here, new and different places in the Tri-Cities usually are not very good, but this place was great. As of this review they have been open for two weeks, so its a little basic inside but it works. The menu is simple, but it works for what they sell. Its a $ 6.00 combo of a calzone(2 topping, additional toppings $ 0.50 each), side salad and a drink. For lunch or simple dinner, this is a fantastic deal, but more on that later. So the food — WOW it was good. Usually places have some issues when starting out and it gets better with time, if thats the case hear this food will be super amazing !! The calzone was perfectly cooked, nice firm, crunchy crust on outside of the dough, but soft, not doughy, on the inside. I got mine with the house sauce, sausage, chicken and bacon. It tasted amazing. nice flavor, and fully loaded on the toppings, so good, consistent flavor in each bite. The salad was a nice touch, a good italian dressing and something a little different as a side. Plus a drink all for $ 6.50, its a bargain. I was extremely suprised and i am looking forward to returning again. Im thinking this will become a regular lunch stop for me as its close to work and home, a great value and was delicious!
