Wholehearted Chef

Christina Sachs of Wholehearted Chef offers not only her culinary gifts but a warm and nourishing presence as well throughout the process of working with her. We first hired Christina to create appetizers for an event, to prepare some meals for after our baby was born, and to create our wedding cake. Every time we have worked with her she brings her creative spirit, kindness, and expertise as a chef.
With our wedding cake, she brought her experiences of working closely with a pastry chef, as well as her beautiful aesthetic to the creation of our cakes which we were so happy with. We sampled some different kinds of lemon flavored cakes with buttercream frosting, and we also requested a carrot cake which our guests continue to talk about to this day :) We had a small multiple-​tiered carrot and lemon cake for cutting, and sheet cakes of both separate flavors to serve to all our guests. As requested, she was mindful of using organic ingredients and was able to incorporate some beautiful decorations from nature.
We highly recommend hiring Christina for any of your catering needs, whether for a special event, everyday meals, or your wedding! She is a special woman with a wonderful business and we are honored to continue to support Wholehearted Chef.

Perfection. I was traveling most of November and Christina saved my Thanksgiving. She prepared all my sides and they were terrific. We had 8 guest raving about the food, everyone asked to take home leftovers! Thank you Christina, you are professional, kind and a talented chef.

This business is so great! The owner, Christina, is a super sweet person who puts a lot of love into everything she does. She did a 55 person birthday party for me. She listened to all of my needs and requests and fulfilled them all while totally going above and beyond anything I had expected. I will definitely be using the Wholehearted Chef again soon.
