Service is sloowwwwwwwwww. Wow. This place is pretty bad. Understaffed. And yes kinda ghetto. Two stars for the chicken when it’s fresh and for the apple pies!

The AW portion tastes as it should. Looked like it normally does. It’s not easy to find an A&W. At the rate this restaurant moves — it will probably become extinct. :(
SLOW SERVICE
customer waiting at register for 5 minutes with no cashier. 25 minutes for my «fast» food order. At least it’s hot…
THIS WASNT THE FIRST ATTEMPT to try to come here. I tend to wait then give up and walk away. I was craving a root beer float. Would have been faster to drive to Lucky’s and buy ice cream and root beer then drive home.

I order crispy bacon chicken (A2) with soda and French fries. They took so long to complete my request, the sandwich was totally meh … Impossible to eat, I threw in the trash after the first bite, the soda was strange and no ice! Just give one star for the fries. I will never go back there.

Super slow service. Consistently slow service. Then, if you go by drive through, by the time you get to the window to pick up your food, you still have to wait. Food isnt even good. Taste old and no salt on fries.

Why oh why did I not check Unilocal before I got in the drive thru and ordered. Worst burger I’ve had, chicken was cold and service super slow. Lesson learned if place has one star don’t go

I live nearby and this place has been there a while — I stopped going there several years ago and now I remember why.
The woman at the counter was polite and the dine-​in order was ready fast enough but both times — a week ago then today — the food was not too good. Not really much good at all.
Last week I had a Papa Burger and fries and the meat patties were dry, had too much of a burnt-​tasting crust and had no taste. The fries were not hot, just kinda warm and therefore a bit soggy. The root beer was good but the food wasn’t good at all.
I probably would not have returned but I noted that day that they had some kind of corn dog bites and cheese curds and today on the way home I remembered this and stopped again. Again, the service was prompt and friendly but the food was nasty. I had fried cheese curds, fried corn dog chunks and fries.
The corn dog and cheese items *could have* been pretty good — they seemed to be coked properly but they tasted bitter, rancid and old — I think this is likely because the frying oil had not been changed in a long time. Awful taste. The fries had the same bad taste and like last week they were barely warm and they were limp and soggy.
I do believe I’m done with this place. Maybe in another five years I will have forgotten these experiences and stop in again.
But I doubt it.
