Couture Fabrics of Richmond

This is a darling store with beautiful high-​end fabrics at fair prices! The owner is just as beautiful and welcoming as her fabrics. We traveled from Alexandria, VA to check out a few independent fabric stores in the Richmond area — unaware of Couture’s business hours we arrived a few minutes before closing; none the less, we were welcomed in and told to take our time — we rushed to pick out a few items and although it was now well past closing hours, the owner took the time to show us other fabrics that she thought we would like, she was also kind enough to share a number of helpful tips on how to sew one of the more elaborate fabrics. Couture also has a wonderful selection of trim and buttons — I will definitely make a trip back to shop at this delightful store!

Gorgeous and unusual high quality fabric and buttons. I have shopped often in New York for fabric and have seen similar fabric in Couture. Recently a friend and I purchased some very beautiful silks and wool from here and both of us are very pleased with our finished garments.
