I don’t believe this store runs professionally.
The plan was to have my friend go to this game stop thinking he’s doing me a favor and doing in store pick up for Super Smash, but instead pick up NBA 2K15 as a surprise. I paid for it and gave them his name, and told them it’s a surprise. Shouldn’t have any problems right? WRONG.
He gets there, gives his name and brings up my name and Smash, they don’t even look through my order history and just tell him they’re out of smash. Then he buys NBA 2K15 for himself! Whole surprise is ruined, because these people don’t know how to run the store. DON’T PRE ORDER ANYTHING AT THIS STORE.

I’ve shopped at this location a few times in the past couple of years. I never really had any issues with it. Staff was friendly, and helpful.
However, I can in a week before the launch of the PS4 to trade-​in a console, since Gamestop advertised an a trade-​in promotion. The guy that helped me informed that in order for me to trade in a console, I was supposed to buy 2 accessories for the promotion to be honored. He seems like an ok guy, but I don’t appreciated being hustled. I checked with another Gamestop nearby and thus was not the case. I could easily trade in my console WITHOUT buying any additional accessories. Uncool.

Great store and the one star reviewer is a hater

You are so close to my house so I come here the most! Thank you for ripping me off all the time when I come sell used games. I don’t mind that the employee’s call me bro all the time. Why do I have to sign a papper and add my thumbprint when I sell you my games?

Clean place, nice employees but lot’s of ghetto people seem to enter the store for some reason

You’re a bit of an asshole. You constantly appeal to my inner and outer nerd, and your recent Xbox trade-​in deal was no exception. While you did not honor the advertised lifetime of the deal, you did let me trade-​in my stuff for the proper amount without taking a pre-​order for a new console. Well, it was proper after I corrected your math and clarified your other promotions. Anyway, I was more than willing to wait the «day or two» you said it would take for my shiny new system to become available in your stores. Unfortunately, what you meant was, «It’s going to be a month or so, so you can just go eat it.» I guess that’s a bummer for me, right? Well, I’ve figured out your loophole, and will be receiving cash (from you) for the gift card you gave me (legally). I’ll let you know how the new system is when I buy it somewhere else.
This store is actually better than most, and I do enjoy the occasional super-​cheap old game. However, everything else, from corporate directives, to exorbitant prices, dishonest marketing, and uninformed employees, is a mess.

This Gamestop is very new It opened just about 1 or 2 months after target had its grand opening, Its a hole in a wall on the back strip of targets parking lot, plenty of parking well stocked friendly employees. And its great to have lol its closer to home instead of driving to either el cerrito or hilltop. They do have a lot of stuff new used in stock since not to many people know about this store. so that’s a great + for me lol this is where i found my rockband2 drum cymbals.
