I came here on Friday 6÷10÷16 with a friend. Finally, a sports bar in Richmond that is a sports bar, but has great food too. The Steak and the appetizer was great and out waitress was friendly and attentive and she was always there when we needed something and she never acted as if she was doing us a favor. The overall experience was great and we will be back for sure.

I’ve now been there twice and enjoyed it both times. Good food, good menu and very friendly staff.

Food is fine. Management is awful! Last time we ate at the restaurant, the waiter lost my credit card(after charging it, of course). His attitude was«I looked and couldn’t find it, sorry…» And went on his way serving other customers. After looking myself for 15 minutes I had to track down the manager on my own. After confirming the bill had been paid, the manager’s best suggestion was that we go on home and they’d call me IF they found it when they cleaned up that night. They called when I was half way home to say they found it in waiters apron pocket. Tonight we decided to try a carry out order. After being on hold for 9 minutes, 54 seconds and having three people pick up, ask why I was calling, and immediately put me back on hold, I hung up. Until we see an «under new management» sign out front, we will likely be giving Lazy Days a pass…

My favorite Glory Days hands down! Great servers and I seriously don’t go anywhere else for boneless wings other than here baby! I love… love…love…okay, LOVE their glory day’s sauce. I could just dip it into everything here, haha. One of my favorite places to enjoy wing night with friends and roomies!

The service is usually great at this location, and the food is as good as expected. However, the reason why we came to Glory Days was for the fried pickles, which were out of this world! They don’t carry them anymore. We were shocked to discover this but didn’t walk out(as our waitress said another customer did). I’m sad to say we probably won’t be back.

Came here last night in a hangry stupor. The fiancé had a craving for wings, so to Glory Days we went. I’m glad that we decided to come here instead of good old Buffalo Wild Wings. Although Buffalo Wild Wing’s mild sauce is a guilty pleasure of mine, it’s nice to branch out every once in a while for all of your fat food needs. What instantly sets Glory Days apart from all the other late night wing spots is the service. Our server was excellent. She was pleasant, attentive, and conversational without being annoying. You can tell she was a happy-go-lucky person with a can-do attitude. I love being around people like that. I saw quite a few things on the menu that I would like to try in the future(next cheat day I swear I’m going for the chicken penne with vodka cream sauce), but I ended up with the grilled buffalo chicken salad. I was really surprised that a grilled version was available. I’m glad that I tried it because it was delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked, the buffalo sauce was delicious, and the salad tasted fresh. I could have done without the celery, but it was still great. I can already tell that this is going to be a go-to spot for a sinful dinner!

We got burned out on Glory Days when my kids were young, so it’s been a few years since we’ve eaten here. With frigid weather and snow on the way, we wanted to have something tasty to munch on while we watched the mid-season première of The Walking Dead. So wings from Sports Page or Glory Days, two sports pubs that are close by. A review of the menus turned up some great new options at Glory Days, so we opted to order from them. Their takeout process is super efficient and they take note of the description of your car so they can bring you your food. Nice added service. For food we ordered a dozen boneless grilled wings(aka boneless, skinless chicken breast kabobs) half hot and half Korean. They were tender and super tasty. They also include extra sauce so you can dip if the sauce on the chicken isn’t enough. The Korean were super tasty and the hot is exactly what you’d expect. My husband and daughter opted for a dozen traditional wings in hot and teriyaki, extra crispy. They both were happy. The French fries with horseradish sauce were respectable… not the best fries ever, but perfectly fine. The celery and blue cheese were a great complement to the wings. We cracked a couple of Newcastles and settled in, waiting for the snow and for the latest adventures of Rick, Daryl, Glenn and the gang.

If what you’re looking for is a neighborhood focused, sports themed family restaurant, you have found it! Want to sit at a bar and view a game on a huge screen? Check! Want to come in with a party of 20& have some great wings? Check! Want to be able to do so, and have a game room for the kids to go play in? Check! It’s a chain, but it’s run like a mom & pop place, with attention to customers & their special requests!

Great Burger joint! I come here often on Mondays, that is when they have their burgers at a discount of $ 6 all day — which is pretty decent for what you get. The burgers have consistent quality and are always cooked to order, and they come with a choice of sides. Medium Rare is always a beautiful, tasty pink! I usually get fries with my burger. The fries are excellent, they are well-seasoned and with mayo it tastes great. Service is great too. Friendly staff and the burgers come out FAST The atmosphere is what you’d expect from any sports bar. Lots of TVs & all that. I honestly dont watch any sports so I cant really comment on how they handle events & all that

Not every meal has to be glorious, and sometimes you find yourself eating at a Sportsbar is just the thing you crave. –Food: Nothing screams Sportsbar to me more than a good old fashioned burger. Except I didn’t just get an old fashioned burger, I got a Glory Burger! This monster had egg, BBQ sauce, fried onion straws, bacon, and cheddar. They also give you the option to get bison instead of beef, so that’s what I ended up with. The burger was really messy so I ate it with a fork and knife, but it was quite tasty! My fiancée had a grilled and fried shrimp platter and said it was good. One of the reasons we came here was because my mother was visiting from out of town and has Celiac disease(cannot eat gluten). After seeing some questionable options at other local places, she was relieved to see that Glory Days had a dedicated Gluten Free menu. She ended up with the grilled shrimp dish with gluten free sides(which are the same as the normal sides, just the ones that are gluten free). She said it was good and didn’t get sick afterwards, so that’s a plus. –Cost: Not super expensive, but more expensive than fast food. If I recall, I think our meal of 3 entrees and some drinks came to around $ 45, which really isn’t that bad. It certainly isn’t cheap, but there could be much more expensive options you could choose. –Atmosphere: It’s a Sportsbar with lots of TVs and, well, sports. We went during the US Open so I ended up watching some of that. Expect what any sportsbar would deliver in terms of dim lighting and booth and bar style seating. Comfortable though. –Service: Our waiter was fairly knowledgeable and assured my mom that he would make sure everything is gluten free. Pleasant. –Overall: There are certain more glorious places than Glory Days, but if you’re in the mood for decent sportsbar food in a comfortable environment, check it out! Also a plus if you have a gluten free diet.

This place is hidden from the hustle and bustle of short pump but has a pleasantly surprising good menu with tasty bar foods. I had a beer battered fish and chips plate that was so good I ate every crumb of it… with a plate of fries on the side. My daughter got a loaded bacon cheddar fries. looked yummy. I didnt try it but she said she comes there just for that at another location in NVA.

Glory days is a place to watch sports. It has a big flat television in front of the bar, and also, they have plenty of television around the place. I remember that one day I wanted to watch a soccer game and I asked the bartender if she could put it on the television and she said yes. Every time I went to this place the personal was really polite. Bartenders and waitress are very friendly. I felt very happy when I saw a waitress wearing the t shirt of my nacional team: Argentina. The waitress use shirt of teams, and it is good for me. There is Happy Hour Monday to Friday from 3 to 7 pm. You can buy a beer of 22 oz. for 5USD, Guinness, DB, among others beers. The food is awesome! I remember that I ate an hamburger with spicy and fries and it was delicious. American food is awesome! I think that if you are alone and you want to go to quiet place, this is a good place. I usually like to stay in the Bar. I can’t say that people talk to you, because no one talks to me, but it dependes of you. If you have friends, you can go with them to this place because it is a quite place. I will go back to this place, sure! American food is awesome!

Place is clean and bright. The service was good. Honestly, all I ordered was their Salted Vanilla Caramel Crunch Cake which was awful. Its description isn’t accurate. The cake was not moist but stale. The creamy vanilla was not creamy but waxy. And the entire thing was room temperature. Makes me think it’s been sitting on the shelf in the back for weeks. Sigh…

Typical sports bar and restaurant… Average food. I had the barbecue wings boneless, and I’ve had much better. It comes with nothing but the wings and celery… How can you eat a full meal like that? No fries? It can also get very loud and crowded to the point you can’t even hear your own voice. Overall average place. Definitely not the best in town.

I have always been a fan of Glory Days. My fiancé’s eyes light up anytime I mention wanting to go their for dinner. Their ribs literally fall of the bone every time I order them. It is your traditional sports bar atmosphere that is unique in the sense that each table has their own speaker box that you can connect to any TV in the restaurant to hear the sound. Of all the times I’ve been, I was displeased with one entrée(Philly cheese steak) that I can remember, which is a nice feat for me! Although this review is for the west end location, I would prefer going to the newer location on Hull St. The long wait time(30mins.+) can be the same at both locations on a weekend and both are good, food wise, but it usually seems to be an older crowd at the Chester location.

The food here is always good. Have never been disappointed. The only complaint is it can get a bit loud during major sport events but I guess that’s to be expected.

I’ll echo a previous reviewer who stated to not go here for the food — it wasn’t that good and there was a hair in my food, too. It wasn’t a long, obvious hair either if you get my meaning. Nope. It was one of those moments where you recognize it immediately and need to hurl. The scariest part was that I found it laying on my tortilla chips. which requires no prep work, really, so it’s one of the least likely places you’d expect it to accidentally get there. I’m convinced at this point there’s some questionable employee putting hair in people’s food for kicks. The waitress was nice and quick. She also didn’t make me pay for my hairy meal either, which was a relief.

Glory days is a sports bar restaurant that is out of our way but well worth the effort to go. There are like 50 tvs and can be a little busy, but the food is delicious.(Don’t get the prime rib, save that order for a steak place) The food is always delicious. My favorite is the chicken pasta with garlic bread. The salads are great because they have the absolute best ranch dressing. You can not imagine how good that dressing is. My whole family gets it to dip everything they can find in it. I even asked for the recipe for my anniversary. There are plenty of tables and they have personal speakers on the tables so you can listen to the tv of your choice. They have a game room in the back for children to play when they get fidgety. They have booths, tables and you can sit at the bar too. Everything tastes great, except the prime rib. A great place for adults and children. I went again yesterday and have a couple of things to add. It would be great if they would update some more of their televisions. They sell these neat handmade Oreo cookie ice cream sandwiches. They are 99 cents on the childrens’ menu. Make sure that you ask for them individually because if you get the 3 on one order they are $ 4.99.
