This is one of the few locations of this preppy national chain. J. McLaughlin sells prepster apparel for both men and women. You’ll find patterned skirts, needlepoint belts, sweaters and the other colorful apparel that comes to mind when you think country club.
Everyone who works here is very friendly, and, while the store is a bit pricey, there are some good sales throughout the year where you can score some bargains.
They always have cute spring/​summer dresses and skirts.
It’s nice that it has a small parking lot since street parking can get annoying along Libbie and Grove.
