I will miss the video point mainly because of the smell, of sweet rice and shrimp chips, odours of a bygone day and a lost people. It was a Korean diaspora, geographically and technologically, an outpost of a lost civilisation anchoring by a slender analog plasticine tape the mobile information culture to a simpler time, when cartridges and wheels and machines with belts in them could be borrowed in a physical and very real way from a friendly couple behind a desk on the second floor of an old house.

Video Point is a great place for our little town. They pick quality movies for a wide variety of interests. They have an incredible deal. $ 2.00 per movie when you pay $ 30 in advance(15 for $ 30). The owners are dedicated, responsible, helpful and fast. The man has a dry humor and the woman is warm and friendly. They often give great recommendations. They get to know you and can suggest movies they know you’ll like. The one star review is inaccurate. We are lucky to have them in our town!

This place is creepy and weird. Very slim selection, overpriced for what they have. This guy also charges exorbitant late fees. He has an enormous selection of obsolete VHS tapes that take up about 70% of the location. The owner isn’t very friendly. He always hassles you if you try to pay with a card. If you don’t want to accept cards, then unplug your credit card terminal. Don’t bust my chops just because I don’t have cash. I hope my cable never gets turned off again. Steer clear
