My daughter and I ate here today for the first time… she had seen it before when eating at a nearby restaurant. After reviewing their online menu, she knew that this was our lunch location for today. Great sandwiches, salads and soups! Fresh, fast and very friendly service! I will look for these restaurants when I travel! Great experience and a great lunch! We both had a sandwich and soup… Both left full and happy!

I’m a big fan of the idea of Zupas. I had the Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich with the New England Clam Chowder. They were both really good. I don’t think I’ve been disappointed in my food or service anytime I have eaten here. It’s a good quick place to take a date. I honestly think it might be just slightly overpriced and I was there around 7:45 and they were out of some of the soups that I originally wanted. Slightly irritating but since there are so many good souls it wasn’t too bad. Employees are always really friendly and very personal. Good place, highly recommended.

It really disappoints me that i have to leave a review like this especially because this was one of my regular spots. I decided to take my mom and little boy in there onTuesday to treat them. We went right when they opened and nobody was in the line. The girl asked us if we had been there before and I said yes. She asked if we needed any suggestions, I said no. We knew what we wanted but she told us that we needed to move to the side. I said that we knew what we wanted. She said to move because we would block the line. I looked behind me and nobody was there. I asked her what people? She got rude and snappy and said that they get really busy. I get that! But not a single person was in line or even at the door. My mom moved over and I told her to come back over because we were ready to order. The girl kept saying things and kept talking about us poorly to her co-worker. That is not okay to do! Snickering like a little high school girl. I asked to talk to the manager. A guy said he was THE manager so I explained what happened. He completely backed her up. I told him that it wasn’t necessarily what she said but she kept arguing with us and completely was rude and talked bad about us. He said she was just doing her job. I am not stupid. Yes that is her job. But her job doesn’t involve disrespecting customers. After I got no response from him, I told him that we would go somewhere else. He said«go ahead, Noodles is next door.» We couldn’t even believe that came out of his mouth! As we were leaving out the door I asked who his manager was and he said that his manager was there and pointed. Funny because he said was THE manager not the manager over the salad line. I talked with the GENERALMANAGER. He listened and all he really could say is that he would talk to them. He did nothing to resolve the situation. No apology, nothing. He just said he understood why we were upset. My 2 year old was sad because I told him we had to leave and he LOVES the place. Still the manager did nothing. We walked out.(And for the record, we went to Noodles!) I can’t even believe that they are allowed to treat customers this way. Yes we love the food, yes it is convenient but NO that doesn’t guarantee success if you treat customers poorly longterm. If you want to deal with a bunch of employees that will treat you bad, disrespect you and a manager that does not value customers, go enjoy lunch at Zupas Riverdale!

Great food but wondering why you can’t get coffee or hot tea with your meal. Certainly this is a common item when buying food.

My husband and I went there for the first time for dinner tonight and ordered so much food since we had never been there before and we loved everything we got! Everyone that worked there was extremely helpful and nice. We will definitely be going there again!

The only reason I’m giving one star is because the quality of the food is usually ok, considering the price. However, the portions are TINY — i have to eat two full meals to feel satisfied, and I’m a man weighing 130 pounds. Besides, the customer service is beyond terrible. It’s abhorrent to the point of criminality. Let me briefly explain. I have dined at the Riverdale location 5 times. The first time, my wife and I ate in the restaurant and, besides my soup being extremely salty and the employees being very rude, I thought«sure, I’d come here again.» So we did. Since then, we’ve ordered To-Go 4 times. EVERYSINGLETIME, THEYGAVEUSTHEWRONGORDER. The first couple times it was just the wrong sandwich, or a salad with NODRESSING. Stuff that was frustrating, but which I just brushed off thinking, «whatever, I’m sure it’ll never happen again.» Besides, we live way too far away from Riverdale to just go drive back to Zupas and get our food exchanged; we were already going far out of our way to pick it up in the first place. But the third time, once I got home with the food we realized that 1) i had the wrong sandwich, again 2) my «half size» salad was SIGNIFICANTLY larger than my wife’s «full size» salad, which was the same kind of salad, and which we had paid twice as much for 3) there was NO chicken on our salads, and 4) there were NO dressings on the side. That’s when I decided I’d had enough, so I called and complained. The girl that answered gave a half-assed apology and offered to exchange our food if we drove all the way back to Riverdale. I said that wasn’t an option for us, and could I please just be reimbursed? She said«yeah, we could do that for you. I’m sorry this happened. The money should be back in your account within the next two or three days.» I never checked my account, as I assumed she was telling the truth. Well, tonight i ordered To-Go for the fourth time, and when i got home I realized that my wife’s sandwich was wrong AGAIN. They had given her a basic kids’ meal grilled cheese with cheddar instead of a turkey cranberry(the turkey cranberry isn’t even grilled, so how they could have made that mistake is beyond me). The frustration at having driven out there 4TIMES only to have them seriously screw up our order EVERYTIME was just too much. I called to complain again. This time it was the general manager, Sean, that answered. He listened to my complaint, gave a half-assed apology and offered to exchange our food. I told him we live too far away, and asked if he could please refund us instead. This is what he said: «Um, no. We can’t do that. We can’t refund anything over the phone. It’s just impossible to do with our computer system.» My jaw dropped. «You mean to tell me that last month when I called to complain and that girl said she had refunded us, she was LYING?! You just… Lied, so you could keep my money, knowing full well you’d probably get away with it??! This just changed from a customer service issue, to a criminal issue.» At that, Sean(the general manager) burst out laughing. Seriously. I was like«what was THAT? Are you LAUGHING at me? How dare you??? Can I please speak to someone else that will actually treat a customer with the respect and dignity I deserve??» That’s when he hung up on me, while he was loudly laughing into the receiver. So I guess stealing money from your customers and insulting them/treating them like crap after seriously screwing up their food multiple times in a row is HILARIOUS to Zupas employees. They’ll never get another penny from me, or anyone I know, and I’m in the process of pursuing legal action. I’ve already contacted corporate and my lawyer. I’ve never been treated so abysmally by an employee of any restaurant, ever in my life.

Not very allergy friendly if you want to customize your salad. First time here and they practically bit my head off for asking what was in the salad dressing and omitting cheese. Don’t like the plastic bowls.

Absolutely delicious. Best soup and sandwich place I have ever been. It’s always packed. I also enjoyed how there was someone there who recommended a number of items that were delicious.

Love, love, love this place! This is the second location of Café Zupas I have been to and they are consistently great. I enjoyed the combo with the ultimate grilled cheese and the chicken enchilada chili… yummy! I love that they give you baguette to dip in your soup, a chocolate covered strawberry for a little something sweet to end your meal and free Italian sodas… bonus!

I love zupas!!! It’s so good. Friendly service, yummy food and comfy booths :) Also, when I get to go orders they are so awesome with the organization of everything! I go here for my work(which feeds 10 people) at least once a month!

Overall I love Zupas, this one tho is not my favorite. There’s a red head that has givin me way to much dressing multiple of times. I also just got blueberries in my salad and there wasn’t supposed to be. Overall pretty disappointed with this zoops.

Never have any complaints with Café Zupas. Always super busy during the lunch hour(what can you expect). Their salads are very yummy, and the soups are great as well. They have a large variety of each, which makes it fun being able to try new ones.

The food is typical for a chain. Good but not great. The customer service however is abysmal! It’s actually non existent. They don’t answer the phone during the lunch rush(because the customers IN the store are more important than the customer on the phone). I have ½ hour for lunch and several other options who are more than happy to take my money!

In currently in Utah for work and we were searching for a healthier lunch option than just fast food. Great reviews from Zupas and they didn’t disappoint. Right off the bat we were greeted with friendly service that was apparent through the duration of our stay. Great food options and everything had great taste to it. We’ve actually returned twice since then for lunch because we were so pleased with the service. For a healthy lunch option that’s quick and has great service, Zupas is a must.

Great for lunch. Very friendly service, good selection of soups salads and sandwiches. I had the crab avocado melt and the Tuscan white bean soup. Sandwich was a panini, not over toasted and had good flavor from start to finish. Tuscan white bean was good. Not too heavy, lots of fresh vegetables. Highly recommend

I love Zupas! Fast service and good food. I had their wild mushroom bisque and it was very very good, not as thick as most bisque are and their mushrooms seem to have been thrown in the blender. However it was really really good, I was wishing I had only ordered soup instead of a sandwich as well. My sandwich I did the California Turkey and it was awesome. Every time I try something new I love it.
