The food is great but the staff(cashier) is rude and grouchy. I ordered to go, then changed my mind and decided to dine in and she got upset. Then when leaving she brought cups for the soup. I packaged my own soup and she literally told me «I messed her up.»

Best phở in town. There egg rolls are the bomb. Idk what the sauce has in it but it’s sweet and spicy yum.

Went here on my lunch break with co workers and I must admit I was beyond satisfied! I was a little on the fence at first but once I sat down we were greeted & addressed right away. All of the sauces and condiments were provided right away and the food was served in a matter of 10 minutes. My meal was only 10 $ and a huge serving! A perfect Vietnamese spot in riverside to go if your looking for an authentic mom and pop shop!:) overall very satisfied & highly recommend this spot if your in the mood for #46 a combo of beef and shrimp vermicelli.

The phở was delicious! $ 8 for a great proportion of beef to noodles. They have boba smoothies which are ok — the boba has no flavor but the fruit smoothies are really good — we tried coconut and strawberry banana. The staff was pretty nice and checked on us. My sister had the shrimp with veggies and rice plate — there were only a handful of shrimp under the mounds of veggies, so that was disappointing. Bonus, they accept credit cards!

Let’s keep this short and sweet if you have another choice for phở I would recommend going there this place has good food but the service is terrible if the staff isn’t arguing with each other or on there phones they are ignoring your table save yourself the hassle and go to del taco youll leave happier!

Nicer than the phở restaurant closest to UCR. They dont check up on you a lot and it’s a bit difficult to get their attention. But their phở is good and so are the servers.

I’ve been here a few times for their chicken fried rice, which is outstanding. Dry, flavorful, fresh, many flavors dance on your palate. The food here is very flavorful. I finally tried the ‘Phở’ for the first time and was blown away by the richness and flavor of the broth. Try the number one with all the meats and meatballs, for only $ 8. Fresh ingredients, lots of condiments on the table. A clean restaurant with very friendly and quick service. A great Vietnamese spot. Lots of appetizers and French bread on the menu.

Great service and great food! Super friendly staff! Had the #3 beef phở. Broth was good, good portion of meat too! Perfect on that rainy/cold day. Will definitely try other food on next visit!

I give this place 3 stars because for the most part their food is delicious. No complaints to their phở noodles. I would def drive out 13 mins for this phở restaurant than eat at phở vinam that’s 5 mins away. BUT today’s visit seriously disgusted me. While eating my phở, at the corner of my eye I saw a HUGE cockroach crawling on the wall right beside me. It was so gross. I got a waitress’ attention to kill it, but by the time the waiter came by it had crawled away… I couldn’t finish my food… GOODLUCK to whoever is sitting there next.

Sadly I loved phở –past tense because I checked reviews before coming here and figured the 4.5 stars would be good phở but instead I seen a small roach crawling in my condiments that go in my soup thankfully I didn’t even begin to eat! I let the waitress know showed her she didn’t have much to say I just left showing her the bug in my food !

We came in and even though the place was not at all packed, all the waitresses were busy having lunch and made us wait to order. I ordered a Bún Bò Hue with a side of extra meat(I am a hugeee meat person), but they refused to get me the extra side, saying that the meat is already«prepackaged.» Wasn’t sure what that means, but prepackaged meat?!? Then the waitress turned to the others and talked some trash about me in Vietnamese(which I’m completely fluent in). Overall, pretty bad experience and first impression.

The Phở Dac Biet(choice #1) is definitely not the best, but it’s not too bad either. The soup in the phở tasted slightly bitter to me and according to my Vietnamese girlfriend, it was the worst stock she has ever tasted. There is a ton of MSG in the phở which made it taste unpleasant. The worst part of my experience was how disrespectful the waitresses were to their customers. Besides the food, the main reason why I gave this restaurant 1 star is because of the TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE!!! When I walked in to be seated, they made us wait a few minutes even though half the tables were unoccupied and already cleaned for the next customers… And when I was ready to order, one of the waitresses told the other waitress to «shut up» while talking trash about the previous customers that were here I wouldn’t come here again, because there are several other Phở restaurants around here that are way better, such as Phở Ha, Phở Star Bowl, and Phở Anam.

I would give this place a negative star but they don’t allow it. The place says it’s open till 9 p.m. my family and I walk in sit down and the clock says 8:30 p.m. then a lady walks up and says I’m sorry only take out after 8:30 huh? Wth! It’s 8:30 well screw it family of 5 usually spends between $ 50 and $ 70 when we go out and tip at least 20% your loss. I will never eat at this place ever bad business you should be thankful for your customers but I guess your business is just overflowing with patrons. You suck period!!!

Just because you see mostly pictures of phở on their site, and they have«phở» in their name, is no reason to only eat the phở here. They have an extended menu that also includes regular entrees. Their prices make eating out easy to do. First treat yourself to an appetizer of egg rolls(5). These are healthy sized rolls full of deliciously seasoned ground shrimp and pork. They are good on their own, but if you commit to surrounding the roll with a fresh leaf of lettuce and several whole stems of cilantro(aka Chinese parsley), it adds new dimension. But you are not done yet! The final step is the unthickened, sweetened dipping sauce made with key ingredients of fish sauce, sugar, and lemon juice. Voila! Crunchy, soft, sweet, mysterious exotic flavors. This is something that I cannot live without when I indulge in Vietnamese food, and it is served with many different dishes. I may as well order a cup of the dipping sauce and drink it independently. Let’s get on to the meal. #47 Grilled pork chop on broken rice. It comes with some tasty steamed cabbage and carrot. The pork chop is first marinated in a sugary sauce that permits it to get a great char on the outside. I don’t know about you, but this is heaven to me. Yep, it came with that dipping sauce. #42, Finely sliced charbroiled pork on vermicelli; This is a fine rice noodle that is topped with marinated grilled pork, cucumber, shredded carrot and mild turnip, cilantro leaves, and that *amazing* dipping sauce becomes a light dressing instead. A generous pile of chopped toasted peanuts on top is what brings this all together. Toss it all together and it is a no fail meal. When it comes to dessert, this converted white girl here has a favorite, the Che Ba Mau. They deliver a tall cup of finely ground ice, and a sweet concoction of red beans, yellow mung beans, tapioca, firm green jelly strips, and coconut milk that you stir all together. This one here was quite good. I admit. I was impressed, especially after discovering my difficult to find, favorite Vietnamese dessert! Riverside has finally arrived!

Food here isn’t that bad, it’s been over a year since the last time I ate here. Customer service still hasn’t changed, matter fact it did change… it has gotten worse. My friend had chosen to eat here yesterday, there was 3 of us but only 2 of us ate. We had sat down at a table and employees didn’t bother to greet or ask how many people we had to seat us at a table they just stare at you and didn’t bother to bring the menus. The employees here needs to be trained properly, had this girl. I’m guessing she’s new never seen her before but she was cleaning the table behind where my friend and I had sat. While she was cleaning she was really rude she dumped I’m guessing iced water into the bucket of their cleaning cart and the water splashed all over the back of my friend she didn’t bother to say sorry. Last time I’ll be eating here.

Since I first came across this fairly new restaurant it has grown on me. Initially I wasn’t overwhelmed by the phở recipe, I preferred Star Bowl or even Phở Vinan in the University Village, but now it’s in my top two vietnamese places in Riverside. The only disappointing dish thus far was the curry chicken soup with noodles. I felt it was sparse on ingredients and not very filling. Fortunately, however, the fried rice and grilled pork dishes make up. I was told to try the pork chops next time, so that’s probably what I will get.
