If you’re not into studying at the library, the HUB is another great alternative to get things done. Sometimes I come here on the weekends and chill out in the lounge under the nice air conditioned rooms. The couches are comfortable to take a nap on in between classes. Most of the time I just head over to the HUB to hang out with friends and talk. There’s also several places to eat on the first floor, but they are a bit pricey.

Now the HUB on campus is a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand it has a wide variety of food options: pizza, sushi, chinese, mexican, pastas, and salads. But, on the other hand some of the food quality is lower then expected but that might just be some bad experiences I had where a particular type of food just wasn’t up my alley. I suppose that is more based on opinion. My biggest problem with the HUB is the options on where to sit because it is a usually very crowded area especially during the lunch hour. The rest of the day it shifts all around due to all the college students filtering in and out. However, given its convenience and multiple options I have to give it at least a recommendation to try their selection and see which one agrees with your taste buds :)

I work here so as an employee I have to say that it’s a convenient place to come to get food. Most employees will pack a lunch, but on days we dont, will stop in. Pizza, they started to make thin crust for a while then stopped. That was the end of the pizza for me. Actually for a lot of the employees who try to watch their healthy eating. The Pasta Bar. Not impressed, pasta is way too al dente. The Salad Bar. Used to be so much better. They got rid of the Italian dressing, that was the end of the road for me. Would rather walk to the Barn for a cheaper and better salad with good italian dressing. Habaneros. Overcooked meat and way over seasoned. The prices are insanely high. Try to get just protein and you pay through the nose. Panda. The better and more predictable experience. They have the nutritional values listed so you are making an educated choice on your meal. This is probably the best choice. Sushi. Done eat it, can’t review. Overall. Stay away when classes have just let out or you will have a very short lunch break and no chance of a nice meal outside. If you really want a nice lunch, go to the Barn. In a pinch and if your building is closer, the HUB will do.

cool place you can kick it at between classes, bunch of food choices, and microwaves and couches you can sit at and tvs that you can watch while you are waiting for your next class to start, exactly what I am doing right now and of course there is free Wifi on campus so you can always borrow a laptop or bring your own an browse… cool :) they also have pool tables
