Best Buy is ok. I will NEVER use their Geek Squad services again if my life depended on it. I had an appointment, they took a walk in before me but whatever. The associate, Alan Givens was the rudest, most condescending excuse for a customer service rep. I’ve ever experienced. Not only did he attempt to diagnose my MacBook without even touching it(he was wrong btw) he spoke to me like I was an idiot, rolled his eyes, shoved my computer back to me and took the walk-in behind me when he decided he was through. I asked his name from the other associate waiting on another customer who was equally as stunned by my treatment from dear old Alan. Audiotronics fixed my equipment within 24 hours.

Worst customer service ever. I purchased a laptop and put my husband on the pick up order since I didn’t have time to stop in and pick it up myself. They refused to allow my husband to pick up the order since I was the purchaser even though I had him listed on the pick up. Brandy Williams wouldn’t allow the associate to even explain why he was unable to pick up the order and said, «He doesn’t deserve an explanation, we don’t have to explain anything to him.» I called and spoke to April Thomas, and she wasn’t much more helpful other than explaining they won’t release to anyone unless it is the purchaser. I called Best Buy customer service and they were wonderful and switched my order to the Lynchburg, VA branch since the Roanoke store was being so difficult.

Worst Service Ever… ordered and PAID in full for 2 products to be picked up by our employee. She was told by a VERY rude manager named April Thomas that there was no boom box and NO she didn’t want to talk with us… Seriously??? Who doesn’t talk to a paying customer because she is too stupid to find it underneath something else. When she found it for my employee to take, did she call to apologize for being rude, inconsiderate and downright ignorant… of course not and you wonder why Best Buy is always rated in the top 10 Worst Stores to deal with. Since I run a big business there in Roanoke, I will certainly find another place to do business that makes an effort to please the customer. If I were Miss Thomas’s boss, I would fire her immediately. She is an embarrassment to your store. I live in NC where people have manners and know how to treat their customers. That was my last and final purchase from BEST(WORST) Buy!!!

Went to go look at stereo equipment and was actually ready to buy something but nobody ever came over. Had 3 different people tell me they would find someone and nobody ever came. Will not be back

Very impressed with geek squad! FYI always pay extra for the warranty thru them. We purchased a gateway computer from another location almost 2 years ago when it began to have problems we took it to this location about a month before our warranty from geek squad was up and they had it a month and were unable to fix it so we got a refund on a 2 year old computer! The staff was helpful in helping us pick out another computer I’m very pleased about how smooth it went.

From the time I was at Virginia Tech and this was the closest Best Buy to just last week when I stopped in and was forced to buy something by The Baby Jesus… this Best Buy has always given consistently good service. I bought my first surround sound system when I was 18 at this Best Buy and my first personal use tablet when I was an old man at 26.

Delivery Crew was the most professional couple of guys I’ve ever experienced installing Fridge’s, Washer/dryers, TV’s and the sort. Never damaged product or property!

Wow. I have been consistently disappointed with Best Buy, and my recent interactions with them are no exception. I’ve gone into the store 4 times in the past 3 weeks to try and buy a Smart Cover for an iPad. Simple, right? At first they have none in stock at all. Okay, post-Christmas rush, I can see that. The second visit, then had only one or two, and those only in gray. When I ask, they cannot(they say) tell me when they will get more in, as they don’t know what’s in any given shipment. Um, not helpful. On the next visit they at least tell me the days trucks come in. On the fourth, they tell me to call ahead so I could save a trip. Seems like a good plan, considering. So I call. The phone rings through for a full minute(I have a timer on my office phone) before anyone answers – and the the phone picks up and promptly slams down on me. Hang up on me? I don’t think so. I call again and push the button for the Geek Squad(rather than sales associate) to see if someone will answer that line. It takes at least 45 seconds, but someone finally picks up. The young man I talk to goes to check, saying«It may take a few minutes.» He’s back reasonably quickly, says they have two in black and gray. «Polyurethane, or is one leather?» Silence. He doesn’t seem to realize they come in different materials. «Um, the gray one is really thin, and the black one too.» «Are they both polyurethane or is one leather?» «Well, they’re more gray. They have a stand.» «Thye fold up to make a stand, you mean.» «Um, yeah, they have a stand. I just want to be sure we’re tallking about the same thing.» At this point I’m not sure we are. I give up, hang up. So, poor selection, lack of inventory knowledge, and getting them to answer the phone is a major feat. I’m going online to the Apple store.
