This place can be a hit or miss. I have had several negative experiences at this place. I don’t know if it’s from the constant turnover of employees or that the kitchen staff has not been trained properly. Even went as far to send an email to the manager the last time. Decided to give it another chance and went back few weeks ago, and my order was completely wrong again. Go figure. Save your money and go somewhere else.

We’ve visited this Fuzzy’s a few times. It’s not the greatest Tex-Mex, but will do. I usually get the chicken fajita quesadilla and husband gets a beef burrito. This past weekend, we decided to get some take-out — what a mistake. I thought they had mistakenly given us two burritos, because they stacked my quesadilla and then wrapped it all up in paper. The result was a mushy, greasy mess. It was absolutely disgusting. I have no idea why they would decide that this is the way to package quesadillas. Every place else puts them flat — either in a styrofoam to-go container or a pizza box. Never again!

First the good. The gentleman who took my order was very nice, personable and quick. The borracho beans were good. That was it for the good. I ordered take out. First of all, they no longer have crawfish on the menu. Very sad. I ordered my mother a shrimp burrito with the garlic sauce on the side and the tortilla soup. I ordered dinner combo. As one side I picked the rice. When I got the food home it was a mess. Half the soup had spilled over everything else and soaked through the bag it was packed in making a huge mess and coating everything. I don’t think I have ever been to a place that puts soup in styrofoam containers then doesn’t wrap it in Saran Wrap or something to prevent spilling. The rice had been dumped on top of the enchilada and was now glued to the enchilada and sauce, completely ruining both. I think they both would have been fine separately, but together not so much. While we got a ton of hot sauce we didn’t want, we didn’t get the garlic sauce for the burrito. Definitely won’t be back for take out, and frankly, there are better Mexican restaurants in the area for eat in. Added — mom just told me her large burrito had exactly 2 shrimp in it.

Mmmmmm!!! Here’s my delicious entrée of shrimp tempura tacos, potatoes, and borracho beans! What’s that? You don’t see any borracho beans?! MENEITHER! So for the third to go order in a row, Fuzzy’s Roanoke has shockingly messed up an order. I give them the benefit of the doubt and attempt 3 callbacks with no answer. My new addiction is apparently being consistently short changed and ripped off.

I ordered ground beef burrito to go. No mention of rice and beans in the burrito on the menu. That was a wasted $ 6.29! Apparently their menu isn’t remotely accurate and they just feel like including whatever ingredients they want. I have tried this location multiple times hoping they will change and am continually disappointed everytime I do.

Here at Fuzzys having tacos. My wife got the shrimp and I got the brisket. My wife loved her California heat shrimp taco I however got to ask the age old question of where is the beef? My tacos were overpowered by lettuce and more lettuce. Very disappointing Fuzzys may be losing there way from earlier times. If you actually want the filling you paid for go to Torchys.

Good fresh guacamole. Nice friendly staff. Good vibes. Tempura shrimp taco, brisket taco, and spiced pork taco were all good. Soft shell. Fresh ingredients. A bit too much lettuce for me, but easy to adjust. I’ll be back. Well worth the price. Good fresh food with nice staff and at a good price! Thumbs up on Fuzzy’s.

This is our go-to place for a quick meal. They are always very friendly and you can’t beat the prices the the amount of food you are given. There is also an app for your phone where you take a picture of the receipt and get points… basically every 25 points(dollars) there is an option to get a free taco! Can’t beat that if it a place you frequent often!

This place has my favorite salads in town! I love the dressing options, especially the avocado ranch. Unlike salads at most places, this one actually keeps me full and I usually can’t finish a whole one. It’s also a good value and they get you in and out pretty quick even when it looks like there’s a long line. They also have a patio, which might be nice for a drink after work.

Totally would pick this place over Taco Bell. Their prices are great and I especially love their fajitas. They use quality meat and they give you large amounts! I recommend getting the steak fajita. That’s the good stuff and I also love having it with the chips and salsa! The chips are fresh and they give you a lot!

I usually pick up a to go order from Fuzzy’s to take to my Tuesday afternoon bible study. The food is great but I haven’t always been thrilled with the service. The one thing I can count on is that my order will be wrong. Work on consistently getting the orders made right. On a positive note, I did get a chance to step out of my comfort zone and try something new that I did enjoy when they gave me an incorrect order. I don’t mind if it takes a few more minutes because you have to check the order. I would prefer it be correct.

I came here with my girlfriend and ordered a cheese quesadilla and some chicken enchiladas and Chips & Queso. I received my food several minutes after her, only to bite into it and it be refrigerator cold. I asked the man at the food window what happened and he told me that they must’ve forgot to pop it in the oven. He proceeded to take out another enchilada, unwrap it, and place it in the microwave behind him. I got a full refund for my food and I have not been back and I never will. HORRIBLE food, Overpriced, and VERY disappointing.

This location gets 5 «Eat Me» stars. Their patio area is nicer and more inviting than most Fuzzys locations. However it’s the seasoning of their protein that gets high marks. The«grilled» chicken here actually TASTES like grilled chicken, not just like«cooked» chicken. You don’t have to kick it with hot sauce. Yummy from one savory bite to the next.

I visited this location with some co-workers and it was passable. I was never a fan of the food at Fuzzy’s near the TCU campus and that carries over to this location. It was very busy during lunch but the line moved pretty quickly. I had a chicken fajita salad and shared some chips/queso with my party. Nothing was great but not bad either. Just an astounding«meh.» I don’t think I’ll ever flat out choose to eat at Fuzzy’s but I’ll go if that’s what everyone else wants. It’s just one of those places.

We used to love coming here… with that being said. I was talking to the manager and apparently Fuzzy’s has been bought out!!! Nooooooo!!! This means the prices go up and portions go down. Their menu has def changed. So now to the portion sizes. Maybe it was a fluke that day. I shall definitely go back and try it again but I’m very skeptical. Why can’t the new owners just keep Fuzzy’s like it was?

Fuzzy’s — I’m disappointed. Your food — awesome. Your breakfast tacos are my new addiction. However… we need to talk about your service. Last night we brought some friends here from out of town and walked in at about 9:05PM. We were hoping to get some grub before the Roanoke fireworks started at 9:30PM. We figured that a few tacos and a quesadilla shouldn’t be that difficult considering we were 1 of 3 parties in the place and the only ones that hadn’t received our food yet. So we ordered and sat down to wait. And wait. And wait. I kept watching the clock as 9:30 came and went. I watched as our order was piecemealed at the counter to sit and get cold. Finally at 9:38 the husband went over to get our food because I was tired of watching my tacos get cold. Surprisingly, after over 30 minutes our order was still not 100% complete so he stood there another couple of minutes to get the last taco and brought the food back. As I suspected, my tacos were cold… flavorful, but cold. Now, that would have been fine if what happened next didn’t happen. The staff(apparently anxious to close up) literally walked by 3 minutes after we got our food asking us if we were done if they could grab our baskets to clean up. I understand that it was late and you all want to go home, but if you hadn’t taken so long to get our dinner together we would have been out faster. Just sayin’. Lucky for us Roanoke puts on a 30 min firework show so we were able to catch the last 10 minutes of it from the Fuzzy’s parking lot. Fuzzy’s — please work on your service because it’s not living up to your food.

The food is always great especially the queso and chicken nachos. This location gets a little crowded at times and the staff cant keep up with it. And $.50 for 6 thin slivers of jalapeño is a little absurd.

I thought these tacos were decent for $ 2. Thy have a lot of options here, including breakfast, so I look forward to trying other things. Only place I’ve even to where they charge for chips and salsa. I won’t get those again, but look forward to the fish tacos and cilantro rice.
