Outstanding breakfast burrito. I had the chorizo, it was delicious and authentic Mexican style. The red sauce had a peculiar spice I couldn’t place, maybe cinnamon, but it’s not my favorite. The green sauce is killer. If you want authentic Mexican and not some Tex mex mix, I recommend this little shop. This is not a high end place, it’s a perfect for a stop in to eat a killer burrito place, under $ 7.

Best street tacos in town! Love the owner… Wish they stayed open longer during the weekday, however. I have tried all of the meats and they are all delicious! Looking forward to going back soon.

Great little taqueria. Limited menu, but that’s part of the charm. Had the carne asada street taco and super gordita and both were very tasty. Very authentic hidden gem.

Food had little flavor, chips weren’t very good and a very limited menu. We had the tortas and they were ok just tasted so bland. Was disappointed with food after reading such good reviews. Won’t be coming back.

Tried this place out for first time today and had their daily lunch special for $ 5.99 which consists of any 2 tacos with rice & beans. I have to say these were probably best fish tacos we’ve ever had and a whole lot of food for just $ 6.00! The owner said normally the fish tacos weren’t included in the special but he let us have them anyway; very friendly and accommodating. Also loved their chips and the 2 different types of homemade sauce; salsa verde and some other type of roasted red sauce which packed some punch. Anyway looks like we found our new place to get our street taco fix!

Been going here for a year, best tacos, best burritos, best prices in town. This isn’t tex-mex, its authentic Mexican food that’s cheap and great quality. The owner is very friendly and will let you customize your order. I’m vegetarian and get a special«avocado burrito».

My husband and I ate here for the first time tonight and it was outstanding! I was born and raised in San Antonio and have been looking for authentic Mexican street tacos since my move to DFW. I finally found what I was looking for! We started off with chips and salsa all made fresh! The tacos had so much flavor and the meat was so tender! The owner and his son were extremely friendly as well! We will definitely be coming back! Can’t wait to try the breakfast tacos!

There was so little flavor it was hard to eat. Both of their salsas were hard to eat. We tried the quesadillas, torta, and the gorditas. There just was no flavor it was sad. My uncle said the tortillas tasted like cardboard. The beans were okay but nothing special and the rice was decent. I would suggest going somewhere else. On the sanitary side, the boy that was working kept sitting on the counter and touching the silverware. Overall: no flavor and nothing special.

This is a sweet little Mexican joint that has awesome 2 $ tacos for lunch. The only downside is they were closed randomly on a Tuesday at like 1:30. Other than that the tacos here are great for the price. Make sure to get there early for lunch so you can get the steak ones they tend to sell out fast.

Must try hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. Tacos and Torta where delicious and authentic. I was worried at first because the location is in Roanoke where there’s nothing but fake tex-mex restaurant. We are from Mexico and we approve this restaurant and we shall return to eat here often.

Great place for tacos. We were pleasantly surprised. We were not sure what to expect when we arrived, but the engaging waiter(maybe the son of the owner?) was very nice and attentive. We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning, and the place was empty. Wary but hungry we ordered anyway. Breakfast burritos are huge(get the bacon), but the real treat are the tacos. The Barbacoa is amazing! We will be back.

Fantastic tacos! We tried all 4 flavors and loved all of them. Squeeze a little lime, add both salsas and a little onion/cilantro mix they give you, sooo good. Beans wee super good too.

Finally found authentic street tacos! Great taste and fresh ingredients. Owner was behind the counter and was happy to have a conversation about his food — very friendly. As others have pointed out, the décor is nothing fancy and the menu is not lengthy, but the food is stellar. This isn’t Chipotle or South of the Border. So if you are looking for modern/branded décor and TexMex, don’t stop here. This is real Mexican food made by folks who are passionate about it. Love it!

After eating at 5 star Elena’s yesterday this place really shows it’s misses. If ever a restaurant needs a woman’s touch, this is it. Kinda cold, deathly quiet, sparse décor and nary a smile in the joint, even when my food was just dropped of at my table. Food was fine, not bad, not great. I’m also not a fan of salsa in a squirter.

I really hope this place makes it!!! I came in today for lunch with my mom. We were greeted by owner. I ordered ice Tèa. He told me it would be a minute, he was going to brew a fresh pot! Awesome! No one wants yesterday’s Tèa! My mom and I ordered a smörgåsbord! el pastor tacos were amazing! Beans very fresh and homemade! Green salsa was bring and fresh! Very little heat! Red salsa had a hint of chipotle a bit spicy! Fish taco was a grilled white fish served with cabbage and pico de gallo and some sort of spicy mayo! Very tasty with the green salsa. Lastly the gordita… The fat tortilla was homemade!!! It’s a little pocket filled with just meat and had lettuce and tomato on the side. Nothing like I have ever had before! Delish! I will be back very soon to try the platters! The owner sat down and talked to us at the end. He told us if we want something not on the menu just ask!!! And said the guacamole was made fresh to order! Can’t wait to try it!!!

I ate here for lunch and pondered what to order. Then I remembered that the place is called Memo’s TACOS. So I ordered one of each. They are a tasty treat if you enjoy authentic Mexican tacos. I could only compare them to Fuel City’s tacos. The place is a work in progress and not a bad stop for lunch. The salsa tastes freshly made and everyone that I was with enjoyed their lunch as well. Give them a shot if you’re in the area!

La tortas son excellente. Los de carne asada son para satisfazer el hambre mas grande. Tienen coca cola medio liter. Mi esposo ordeno la super gordita al pastor. Estaba rico.

My family and I had dinner there tonight and the food was amazing. The family recipe they use to marinate their meat with is phenomenal. I tried both the chicken burrito and a grilled fish taco. The fish taco was one of the best I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back.
