Great pizza. NY style. Curly small pepperini. Nice crust, not too thick, not to think, crusty and chewy. Great sauce. Was worried it’d be sweet based on other reviews; it was perfect. Not overloaded on sauce or cheese, the right amt of ingredients. Good prices, especially with coupons. Great breadsticks, homemade bread with grated parm, butter, garlic. Again, crusty and chewy, a little fluffy places. Homemade ranch. Not the bottle stuff.

Underwhelmed. Tried their chicken, and it was rather flavorless and greasy. The fries were slabs that hadn’t been allowed to get crisp on the outside, so they were limp and unappetizing — even to a potato fanatic. I have no idea about the pizza, and won’t order there again.

I love New York style pizza. Thinner chewy crust, little spicy pepperoni, good sauce, just enough cheese. No reason to ever order chain pizza when we are blessed with Sir Pizza in our community!

First time ever ordered so we decided to try it out. They were friendly and cheap but my mostacholii did not come with baked chesse you have to ask for that. OK no big deal I will remember for next time. But the pasta was bad. I didn’t even eat half of it. The sauce was way below average the mushrooms were blah like from a can and the meatballs were gross. The shrimp was really good. But the ribs were fatty and the sauce was weird. The bread was just OK at best but cold

Been eating pizza for Sir pizza close to 25 year’s…And we LOVE it. They have the best pizza and fries in town. I totally agree with other posters here. The sauce is the bomb.

Need to get bigger wings if you’re going to raise your prices. Or just make sure you price by the pound.

I like this place. They provide pizza for RJ’s pub(a bar reminiscent of my love for dives in Flint) and I have always been happy with pizza from here. Round is somewhat typical — better than Hot-N-Ready’s although more dough than I want. Deep dish are too much dough but the edges rule. It is definitely a place worth trying and I will always be a fan, the pizza sauce is sweet with a nice spice to it.

4.5 in all candor. I want to give it 5 stars, but it is just a tad to much dough for me on the square pizza, which I know can be subjective. It has a very good quality & taste, the toppings [ ham, mushrooms & double sauce ] were abundant . The corner edges were truly fabulous! YUMMO! And I absolutely love the sauce! Nice little bite/bark to it! If the owner’s monitor Unilocal I’d ask/request can I order a small square made with 50% of the dough, so it is not so puffy? I look forward to trying the ribs & broasted chicken soon! ps it is very close to Rockin Cupcakes f.y.i.

Click your heels three times and say, «There’s no place like home, there’s no place like home…» While home, I ALWAYS make a point to visit SIR Pizza! Oh, SIR Pizza, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways: 1. Your sauce oozes over my buds, exciting them to the point of ecstasy. 2. Each slice of your goodness is loaded with the items I’ve ordered, mushrooms, and ham, and pepperoni with the crispy edges, and they taste so good in my mouth. 3. Your crust is cooked to perfection — hard on the outside, soft on the inside. 4. I never wait long — you are always ready when I am. 5. Whenever I visit your place, the people are cool. Seriously — since the time this place opened years ago my family went here every Friday. We used to get these great coupon deals that said«Limit one per customer.» We always needed two pizza’s for our family so mom would order one, then I’d order the other. After almost a year of this the owner guy(who used to be there all the time back in the day) said, «You know, you guys are my best customers — you don’t have to do that.» Now, every time I come back to visit Rochester we always make time to head back to SIR Pizza. I thought it was a franchise of a chain, but Google’s never helped me find another one. So sad.

The place is a dive and did not look clean by any standards. The dough wasn’t fully cooked, the sauce was sickly sweet. And the guy at the counter was creepy. I wouldn’t recomend this pizza to anyone. If you enjoy deep-dish/square try Buddy’s or Jets. This place is definitely a miss.

SIR Pizza is a Rochester institution. It’s a small place that’s been around forever, and thusly makes a pretty decent pizza. What was great about SIR was that they delivered late, and to anywhere in Rochester. It’s just too much of a pain to do pick up in that town. As far as prices go, they’re middle of the road. It isn’t Little Caesar’s, and it isn’t Pizza Papalis either. Expect about $ 10 for a decent pizza here. I’d honestly recommend them over Tower simply because I’ve had SIR more, and know their pizza is consistently good. I can’t say the same for Tower because I haven’t had it as much.
