At Big Brads tonight as they’re closing. The popcorn machine was pretty much still full, the bartender walked over and just shut the doors. We were like aren’t you going to clean that out? «No it’s still good» How disgusting! They’re going to serve that old stale nasty popcorn tomorrow. Also they illegally add a charge to any tab that doesn’t include more then 2 drinks. Yes folks that is illegal to add extra charges to a credit card! Also the entire building had some funky smell going on.

I must say I love Big Brads. It has a great selection of beers and you can get a Goose and soda for a whopping $ 5! This was my favorite bar when I lived in Rochester. It gets very packed on the weekends but it is my favorite of the downtown bars and if it is too packed you are only a few steps away from lots of other options. Plus you can never go wrong with a Minnesota bar that has pull tabs and popcorn. Welcome home! This place is a great hometown, local watering hole.
