Great pizza and very nice people. But get an online coupon. Otherwise they are rather expensive.

Horrible attitude! We order out every friday. This night we ordered from phils. I ordered a clam strip dinner. After arriving, I open the box to find the batter was still raw. I’m not usually the one to complain but I called and spoke to a manager. He started arguing with me that there was no batter on the clam strips and he couldn’t imagine how that happened. I requested a new one. He stated it would be another 45 minutes. I was, agreeable. I asked for SOME kind of compensation. He was hesitant and said«fine, I’ll give you a credit». After waiting another hour. I called asking where the dinner was. He said I didn’t send one. I thought I said we were busy so I would give you a credit OR you could wait another 45 minutes for another dinner. the ATTITUDE is why I would not order from here. It’s sad because prices and the other food that arrived LOOKED great… I watched everyone else eat. I also told him I would be writing a review. He said it was fine with him…

Definitely not the greatest place and usually a last resort. The staff could be a lot nicer, they make it pretty clear that they don’t want to be there. We have had them deliver a couple times, every time we are told that it will take the usual 45 minutes and then it ends up being over an hour before they finally get here, doesn’t matter what time we order or what road conditions are like it always takes them a minimum of 15 to 20 minutes longer than they say. The food is average… there are better options nearby. Not someplace I would recommend.

I have ordered from this place a lot: pizza, wings, calzones, fish fry and I tended to repeat order pizza here… until there was a clear issue with the management over what was an honest mistake on their part. I was given the wrong pizza; no big deal, it happens. I called to let them know and was told abruptly by the owner(«well, it says sausage in my computer, not mushroom»). I politely informed him I ordered mushroom and asked if he would be kind enough to come pick up the incorrect one(I live 2 miles away), and give me what I ordered since it was for my three children who were hungry, and I did not want to have to leave them. Phil’s pizza would not do this, and told me I need to bring the incorrect pizza back and pick up the correct one! Really? Last I checked, you have a delivery service, and this was your mistake. While they did offer to credit my account, the damage was done when he kept asking me «what do you want»? I want you to correct your mistake with manners, Phil’s pizza owner. Also, I don’t like how the owner of Phil’s pizza said he would be «speaking to the(high school kid) who took the order». I cannot stand punitive employers for honest mistakes make on the part of their employees. Leave her alone, Phil’s pizza owner, and have some class. lastly, I do not like how I see the Phil’s pizza owner smoking in the open doorway to the kitchen where food my family eats is being prepared. Phil’s pizza: You get a 2 star and not a 1 star only because I can honestly say your pizza was decent, but you burned me badly, you showed me what kind of person you are, and you do not deserve my consistent custom. I will relay my bad experience to a minimum of seven people.

It pains me to say that I no longer patronize this place. It used to be the best place around, when it was in the plaza. After it was sold and moved to the new store, quality took a dive. It’s very sad, because you couldn’t beat Phil’s for pizza.
