Tony Pepperoni

I have tried too many times to like this place, and I just can’t do it anymore. Please know the people are very nice, but the food just isn’t good. The pizza is very doughy (not cooked all the way) and the sauce is really just a bland tomatoey paste. Asking them to add more sauce or just cook it longer for you is met with disdain. I wanted this to be my local pizza joint — but I just hate wasting my $. Too bad.

Love their pizza! The guys are always friendly and how can you beat $ 9.99 Large on Monday&Tuesday!!! Great to pick up on the way home!

On my first night in Rochester for a business trip I couldn’t decide where to go for food so I eventually settled for picking up a pizza. After checking out Unilocal reviews for the local pizza spots, I decided on Tony Pepperoni. Based on the pictures posted with the reviews, I went for a buffalo chicken pizza, and it was everything a pizza should be. The crust was perfectly crispy-​chewy and had a great flavor. The buffalo sauce had the right amount of heat and a really good flavor. They also didn’t skip on the chicken. I would say the only thing that could’ve made the pizza better for me is a drizzle of blue cheese dressing.
I got my pie to go so I didn’t fully experience the restaurant, but the staff was friendly. Also, I was told around 25 minutes for pick up, but when I got there in 15 my food was done. They have delivery too!
If I ever make it to the Rochester area again, I will definitely be hitting up Tony Pepperoni for some pizza.

This place was very cozy and cool. I ordered x-​large Philly cheese steak pizza for 19.39. The pizza was amazing I really liked the crust it was not too thin or thick just perfect. They used very good ricotta cheese which brought the pizza to another level. The topping were really fresh and tasty. So next time go there and order one of their special pizzas and order an extra one for me :-)

Where to Start, how about its about as good of pizza that you can get in the entire city of Rochester. This says a lot considering there is about 6 billion pizza joints and about 5 billion of them are not that good. This pizza reminds me of what Pontillos pizza was like back in the 1970’s which is a great thing for me. The Crust and dough is a big hit being cooked correct, never doughy and fresh never tough. Not sure if they acquired the same type of ovens used back in the day or what but this is my favorite place for a take out pie and if you like you can dine in also. Kudos to Tony P. Tony keep the prices where they are and we will keep driving in from Greece for you pie. !

Love the buffalo chicken pizza here. If you’re looking for a quick slice of pizza at a fair price, this is the place.

I ordered a sweet and sour chicken pizza thin crust. It seemed pretty thick for a thin crust which I didn’t enjoy. The chicken tenders they use are tasty and makes for a yummy pizza with the sauce. Pretty good food for the price so I will deff order again and try something else!

This is one of a few pizza parlor the uses real pepperoni. You can tell when the pepperoni curls up. Pizza is great! They are fresh. The people are very nice in there.

Had lunch there today. Always a good selection of different slice choices and reasonably priced.

The pizza here was great. I had a slice of pepperoni and buffalo chicken and was very pleased. They tasted great and I plan to return and try their other food. Also, who seemed like the owner was very nice and friendly to us as we ordered and ate.

There are good calzones, there are great calzones, and then there are Tony’s calzones. Seriously amazing eats and really legit people!

Another night, another perfect pizza from Tony! Ordered the extra large, half cheese/​half pepperoni cut in pie slices (the x-​large is normally cut in squares — beware!). It made all my stress go away and floated me into a pizza paradise. Thank you for existing!

We order food from here a lot for work. Always satisfied with great pizza and staff is always friendly! They deliver too, that’s a plus!

Far and away my favorite pizza in Rochester. Great crusts, delicious sauce (not overly sweet nor spicy), and just the right ratio of toppings. Don’t waste your time anywhere else and don’t even think about ordering from a national chain, dumbass!

Consulted Unilocal while staying in the Rochester area and found Tony Pepperoni.
Absolutely delicious buffalo chicken pizza. The thin crust has exactly the right combination of crunch and chew. The chicken is flavorful and not too spicy. I was more than satisfied with my choice.
The only lamentable fact is that I got it to take out and when I got back, I discovered it didn’t come with any bleu cheese dressing for dipping. Most places I have gotten buffalo chicken pizza, they give you a little container of dressing. I missed it. Sad.
But other tham that… great pizza! The people behind the counter were super nice. The place is tiny and the atmosphere is very casual.
Oh, another thing… I wish that somewhere on their fb page or website or somewhere, they would mention that they deliver. I didn’t see it anywhere (I suppose I could have called), so I ventured out when I would have been really happy to pay to have someone bring dinner to me.

Fast delivery, arrives nice and still hot, yummy big cazone, great cheezy bacon tots, fried dough and chicken parm sub :)

This is my favorite pizza in Rochester. Always very tasty and service is always consistent there.

The Best Pizza in Town. Love the sauce and we always request the extra thin crust. Perfect amount of toppings and cheese. The wings have plenty of sauce and crispy. They have some weekly specials — check them out!

When living in the area this was typically our go to place for a last minute pizza to order and pick up. Never had a bad experience with them & was very satisfied with our orders.
When picking up your order or calling one in, quickly check their coupon section of their website to see if there’s any active coupons you can save some extra money with.

We stopped in here a couple of days ago just to grab a quick slice and a couple of wings.
The outside of this this palace blends in and doesn’t stand out.
Walking in reveals an older place.
We were greeted right away by the folks behind the counter in a very friendly manner.
We ordered a couple of slices and half dozen wings (see the pic).
The pizza was surprising good. It was not a thick pizza which is what most of the Rochester pizzerias offer and people up here seem to enjoy. It folded well. Nice texture of crisp and chewy.
The wings were prepared fresh and were delicious.
I saw bread come out of the oven. I was surprised when they told me they baked their bread on premises which is used for heroes, sandwiches, garlic bread, etc.
She cut me a piece of this fresh hot bread. Delicious! It had a great taste. Nothing like fresh bread! Too bad I was too full to eat more but next time I will try one of their heroes on their fresh bread.
Pizza stop on State Street is still my favorite, but this is not a bad option when you are in Henrietta or when pizza stop is closed on the weekends.
