Jimmies Restaurant

Jimmies has always been a favorite of mine. The food is good, cheap and really fast. They recently changed owners and the new owners have really been trying to keep up with the legacy the previous owners left, so far they have done a good job. Will always keep coming back for great biscuits and gravy on days when comfort food is the only option!

I love this place for breakfast, especially pre-​dawn :) … Unilocal didn’t think that was enough of a review, so … I have very good memories of all the breakfasts I’ve had — pre-​dawn and after the sun’s come up. Good coffee, excellent pies, love the pancakes, and the chicken and waffles has been completely yummy every time. I also love the diner service … every experience has been enhanced by fast, friendly, and helpful food servers.

I just waited 12 minutes at my table with no drink order or even a menu. I went to find the manager to tell her we were leaving and to give her feedback. She walked away. So, then I told someone at the front counter, and she obviously didn’t care. It’s a shame, because the food has always been great.

This place has been a family staple for years. Although the original owner isn’t here anymore, it is still the same great food and the same great staff. Highly recommend this place.

The food and the service have gone downhill in the last few weeks! It’s a nice restaurant so hope they will get it back up to par again soon.

It’s a diner so it has diner food. If you want diner food, go here. If you dont want diner food don’t go here and definitely don’t go here and judge the diner food on some non-​diner food scale.
Friendly and good service, good prices and portions, good diner food.

I have to downgrade this place to a 2. I have since determined that the view is the best thing about this place. During our last (third) visit, we waited at least 45 minutes (at our table) for our food on a Sunday morning and my food was wrong twice. The food is just adequate, and the coffee is not great. Servers are not very attentive, at least not to us, and definitely not when it’s busy. I did complain about the wait, wrong order and service, and asked to have the charge for my entre removed from the ticket, which they did (kudos), but experience was so poor that was irritated to have to ask.

Let me begin by saying if you enjoy dining with German roaches this is certainly the place to eat! Have you ever just thought wow I’d love to eat with nature? Is that nature that you wish to eat with the scuzz of the bug world? Well then come on down to Jimmys!
Don’t expect an apology here when the roach is found on your table! Expect to be told that it is a normal thing in most restaurants!

There is a wonderful myth around town that when the old US1 location got mowed to the ground that all the roaches where holding hands wearing «eat at Jimmies» shirts…

Staff was friendly, and the food was very good. Came in with 10 people and the wait wasn’t very long. Food took a little bit longer to come out than what we were hoping for but worth the weight. Would definitely stop by again.

Jimmie’s is my favorite breakfast eatery. My son and I go their quite a bit, particularly during baseball season for all of the cool memorabilia.
The food is great with large portions. In particular when it comes to eggs I like mine over medium. You would be surprised how many places can get this wrong; some places over cook them or are to runny. Jimmies does it right every time:)
For some reason my previous five star review does not show. For me Jimmies is a Five Star!

We had a great breakfast this morning at Jimmies — pancakes, eggs, biscuits and gravy — all was great! Patti our server was fantastic and was always quick to refill coffee and she was SO nice! Definitely will be back!

Great service and great food! The prices were very reasonable and the service was great too!

This was our second visit. The first visit would possibly get an «average» rating, but this one was definitely below average.
Seated right away, and asked if we wanted coffee. Then waited at least five minutes before any coffee or water was delivered. Just so you know… it wasn’t busy. Including us, there were a total of two tables occupied. The other table had one person. There was also one person sitting at the bar eating breafast. So, based on the amount of customers being four, waiting that long for our coffee was very strange
The food was delivered in a decent amount of time, but it was lacking. My Veggie omelet seemed like it was made with frozen veggies that were old. Not sure how to describe the taste, but it was like old frozen broccoli that was added. Home Fries were decent. Toast was the best part of the meal.
Wife’s meal was basically the same. Omelet just didn’t taste right. She had hash browns, and they didn’t taste right. I love hash browns, but I couldn’t even eat them. They were greasy, and it tasted like old grease.
Unfortunately, this breakfast didn’t work out well. Neither of us finished, and we didn’t take it to go. The picture shows how much of one meal remained.
Benefit, we stopped someplace else on the way home to complete our breakfast, and made the best of it
Not sure if this was just a very off day. I see plenty of good reviews, but today’s meal ranks low on my list

Becki and I were over night in Viera and needed breakfast in the morning. So I fired up Unilocal and once again, we discovered a great place to eat!
It’s located in an un-​gated golf community on the right side earlier than shown on the Unilocal map. Google’s map is accurate.
Now for the important part, the food is awesome! Cutie Pie (Becki) had wonderful biscuits and gravy and I had fried chicken breast over Belgian waffles! The chicken breast was not frozen but hand breaded and sautéed. I added two over medium eggs on top! Extra Yummy! Next time I will have them make two eggs over the chicken breast over French toast! I’ll bet that will be good!
The people were very friendly and the view of the golf course with a complement of nice wadding birds was a treat!
They look to serve a nice lunch and maybe dinner and I highly recommend you give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

I’m giving this place the full five stars, not par say because the food is five stars (a solid 4) but because the service here is great, no matter when you come. They also serve breakfast all day and night, which I love too. We always ask for our favorite waitress Patty. She’s a genuine great, hardworking, all around awesome gal. She remembers our order by heart and is always asking how we and the family are. We love her dearly! All the waitresses are great here of course, we just love reliability and comfort.
The breakfasts are all great, the omelette is the ultimate hangover cure. Great sandwiches (love the meatball sub), side dishes (fried okra) and a full bar to boot! We will always come to this location!

Nothing special. Decent food at a fair price. Lot of canned products not fresh. The best thing here is breakfast that’s all…

This place is everything you want out of a breakfast place. The biscuits and gravy can’t be beat, the French Toast is awesome. My daughter can eat one pancake as a meal. We love to come here after church on sunday, but be ready to wait as this place is good enough to have a line. The prices are very reasonable and keep us coming back.

Had a spinach, ham and cheddar omelet with hash browns and it was great. Haven’t been here in a while. It’s definitely a great breakfast spot in the golf course.

Dinner was excellent. I had ahi tuna seared perfectly. .hubby Prime rib. perfectly medium rare. somewhat thin but 8 oz. Salads standard nothing special. My sweet potato fries were crisp & wonderful.. Full glass of pint grigio… we are staying at RV Park across the road & would definitely return… not fancy but value for the price & delicious food. no complaints.

Nuthin fancy. Just good, fast comfort food with attentive service. We came with a VERY large groip callong only 30 min ahead and rhey were eeady for us.
I had the cointry fried steak and eggs and it was good. Grits instwad of potatoes. They were good too.
The place is on a muni so if you wanna chip a fewnwjile waiting it is just outside n the front door.
