My boyfriend and I have had a wonderful experience here for our first time. The waiters were all so nice and always making sure we had water and everything was okay. The inside is gorgeous and they have an awesome waterfall :) Great prices as well. Good place to eat sushi before a movie!

My husband and I were looking for somewhere to go to eat on our date night and we thought we would try the new sushi place. To our surprise this place was very accommodating and we were seated right away. They have fun ambience with the wall of locks that you can place a lock on the day of your birthday. Tasty fresh sushi. I highly recommend The spider and the Mexican roll.

Just a very average experience. I dined in, and was not impressed with much. Yes the atmosphere was nice, but I came for the food not a nice culture. The sushi was ok, it didn’t taste very good. The sauces over powered the actual rolls. If I wasn’t so hungry I wouldn’t have finished them. The only reason why I have an extra star in my review is because my glass of water was full for a majority of my visit. Although the rolls are 50% it isn’t worth sending any sort of money when the rolls aren’t even good. There are plenty of other great quality sushi places that have 50% off rolls. I will not be returning.

Skin not cut off the salmon, and brown spots all over the avocado! Sushi was just gross!

Just poor service and tasteless sushi rolls… been there probably 8 times, go cause close to the Blue Oaks and half off on Sushi rolls during lunch time. Last few times the quality and prep was only mediocre. Was cold and rainy the other day so I had the Ramen soup with a really teeny raw egg on top. 8 bucks… the Stephanie sushi at half off was $ 7 B land… chewy… Place is always quiet at lunch and seems staffed minimally. Not a pleasant lunch, today Used to be little better. Interior wise seems like a strange venue for an out of the way, around the corner in a parking lot area theater Mall. Inside more uptown Friday night bar. I don’t know how they keep in business, rent’s gotta be Krazy…

Um… no. No, no and… no. The parking is plentiful at this shared mall parking lot, and the restaurant is in the corner of the mall. We came here 1 hour 20 minutes before a movie at the nearby theatre. Almost everything about this restaurant was a bad experience. Seating: Waited until sushi chef told us to seat ourselves and than a waitress tried to seat us near the door with freezing cold air but we got her to move us to the back of the restaurant. Told waitress we had a movie to get to. Plates: Were never served plates, had to ask for them, one was served with dried food on it. Water: Was never served or offered, no signs about drought conservation on table, so we assumed it was coming. Waitresses: Two for the whole restaurant, to wait, serve and bus on a busy Friday night. It was 15 minutes AFTER we closed our menus that someone took our order and an HOUR before we got our first roll and customers who came after us were served. We had to ask for everything — tea, our food in 5 minutes or the bill so we could catch our movie and our bill after they threw out food together but forgot our bill. The waitress apologized to us five times, three times as she gave us the bill(nice try honey but too late) Food: Mediocre to poor. Ginger had been prepared far in advance of dinner on the dishes and and was partially dry, seaweed salad was dry and our rolls were done in such s hurry, they were squashed closed instead of being round. Tea was weak. In review, shame on management for not hiring more help — it was unfair to the staff and customers to have such little help and poor service. We won’t be going back there again.

Crazy good sushi(actually just pretty good) but crazy terrible service. It’s like it’s being run as a charity. More helpers than servers. Odd. Surprised they are still here with all the crazy sushi competition. Even with 50% off house rolls I won’t be rushing back. Zero management. Mel’s diner ejects attempting to serve. Odd.

Not Sure Why It’s Rated 3 Stars Only This Place Is great! Not best ever but a SOLID4⁄5STARS for sure. Came here multiple times already and we always like their bento boxes and sushi, chicken teriyaki is great too. Check this place out if you get a chance! It has a nice setup inside with multiple TVs for sports and waiters are always super nice! PS: others said plates dirty… not sure about that cuz all 3 times we came ours were clean.

Best sushi in sacramento !!! The only place i will go. The chef puts passion into everything he makes! I have had some of the best, most original rolls here. The staff here takes care of you like you are family. Hard to find a restaurant that takes this much care when they make food, and where the employees love where they work. Happy employees = happy customers! These people are amazing ! You have to try this place

Came in for dinner on a Thursday. It was full enough to have three waiters busy. Service was ok but has a lot of potential to be better. Once the food came we didn’t see our server until I finished stacking our plates ready to leave. The sushi rolls are larger than arigatos or blue nami. The bento box was pretty good and they had a wide selection of entrees. The sesame chicken is tempura battered and has the right amount of sauce. The tempura mix only comes with one shrimp. The place itself is attractive. It isn’t too compact like competing sushi restaurants. They have a cute private room in the front which is great. The lighting is definitely what makes this place! Overall Crazy Sushi has a lot of potential. It is neighboring the busy theatre and will soon have a vampire penguin down the plaza. Will definitely try this place again.

I have been here several times. Sad to say the last couple times have not been good. But I am giving them 2 stars for all the previous positive experiences otherwise would give one star. Sad to say, they have a dishwashing problem. This could be a major problem for a restaurant. Dirty silverware and plates. Tables are cleaned after guests leave, etc. Service was average. Not great but not bad. We asked for refills on drinks and she came back with the glasses half filled. I guess you only get a half glass for a refill? My friend and I looked at each other and laughed. Food was mediocre. The fish in one roll tasted«off» like old and fishier than normal so I couldn’t eat it. I didn’t want to get sick. In general, the food was not fresh so it kind of made me queasy. I don’t feel safe eating raw fish if it is not fresh and of good quality. Not sure I will be back any time soon.

The sushi is really good. The service however leaves much to be desired. The turnover must be high because I never see the same server twice. And usually one person is working so good luck coming on a lunch break.

This sushi place is pretty good. We have come here several times, mostly because it’s close to us. However the prices are good and the sushi is pretty good. Staff also seems to be on top of it. They should work on keeping their little plates a little more clean. I wouldn’t call them filthy like some other reviewers, but there was a little bit of dried food on a couple out of the stack.

This was my first time here and I wish I would’ve tried it sooner! I got two rolls to go and it cost me $ 14 which is a deal for the amount of sushi I got! I tried the crazy spicy roll which was AMAZING and the 49er roll which was yummy as well! The two people interested with that worked there were super friendly and helped me chose the rolls. The restaurant itself was decorated nicely and looked very clean. Can’t wait to come back again!

This is another option for 50% off sushi rolls in the Roseville area. The restaurant is tucked in the corner behind the Blue Oaks movie theater and Lazer Tag spot. The décor is really extravagant and has the feel of a lounge or club. The food was adequate with the regular staples that all sushi restaurants have – appetizers, bento boxes, rolls. I can’t even remember the name of the roll that I ordered but it was a basic tempura shrimp roll with crab mix and topped with salmon and a lemon. I added cream cheese into it because I love that stuff. It was good. Also split the 12 piece sashimi combo with An-Nhien L. This came with a miso soup and a side salad. The salmon was bomb but tuna tasted not so fresh. Service was sub-par as our server took forever to bring out wasabi and was not around much. I wouldn’t mind returning here in the future if someone suggested it but definitely not my go-to sushi spot.

You have to be CRAZY to eat here more than once. The little plates were FILTHY, every single one of them had food stuck on them, even the soy sauce saucers. Fish tasted fishy and the batter sucked. Sushi rolls were mediocre, drenched in sauces. Gross place which may look good in pictures. No wonder it was 100% empty at 1:30 on the weekend. It makes me shudder to think we have eaten there. F minus.

Very nice ambiance! Efficient service and REGULAR size rolls at half price– in fact there is a two page menu of half price rolls! We tried the«Stephanie» at our waitress’ suggestion–«ono» as we say in Hawaii we also had the rainbow and lemon salmon– a refreshing, delucious one you will enjoy!

This is a local chain apparently since there is another location in Lincoln. We ordered a bunch of sushi to go, the sushi was just okay; for some reason it’s better at the other location. The 50% off is definitely a gimmick since the rolls are pretty small. The reason I’m giving this place two stars is because the restaurant is absolutely filthy! It reeks of mildew and dirty dishwater or something. The carpets are stained and look like they’ve never been cleaned and have suffered years and years of abuse. Even the chairs and tables were disgustingly sticky. I tried so hard not to touch anything. You can smell that they are not using clean water/rags to wipe anything down. I felt like I needed a shower after sitting in this place.

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now and these guys treat me and my kids like family. The staff is always courteous and friendly and the fish is fresh. They also carry a few different specials.
