Yum!!! We have been a fan of PK since his days at Mikunis. He is a remarkable sushi chef. We’ve been wanting to try his restaurant for some time but never seem to make it to Rocklin for dinner. We are so happy we finally made it out. The food was delicious and prices right. He even provides a discount to veterans! We will be back!

This is hands down the best sushi in the area! The staff is so friendly, prompt and makes you feel welcome every time! They remember my wife and I each time we come in, even if it’s been awhile. The food is amazing. So many options on the 50% off rolls menu, and there is so much detail put into each dish. My wife and I recently moved out of the area, but we literally make the 45 minute drive when we are craving good sushi! Keep it up PK, you guys rock!

Food — so freaking good. If you want fairly priced, good quality sushi — come here. I got the combination meal with sea steak, white bbq tuna and a pk1 roll. Sea steak was a bit tough and fishy, but the bbq runs was so good that I almost started crying. Pk1 was also off the chains. Customer service — amazing. They truly tend to your needs, offer great advice, and have a smile on their face. If you have a birthday celebrant in the party, make sure you spin the wheel for a chance to win a cool shirt! Will definitely be back.

Fast service, everyone is always pleasant, I had the rainbow roll and it was delicious. Love the hopped up edamame! Good value for sure!

PK is one of the best sushi spots in Sacramento. The difference is their prices are actually reasonable! Service is great and the food never disappoints

I would have given this place 5 stars a few months ago but they have canceled their all you can eat, made to order deal. That was really the big thing that set PK apart from the other sushi places in town. Now it suffers from blending in with the hundred other sushi locations throughout the Roseville-rocklin area. It’s a shame because PK was a treat that I liked to indulge in every so often, now I don’t really have a reason to go here. That all being said, it’s still very good sushi at reasonable prices, so it’s hard to really knock it too much.

This spot is one of my favorite sushi spots I’ve ever been, and since my Fiancé is a big sushi fan, I’ve been to a fair # of places. Here are some key points: — Affordable rolls — most special rolls are under $ 10 — Attentive service, and they threw in a free 4 piece of a tasty roll for us! — Unique rolls — all the flame-broiled ones were great — Most of the rolls were sweet, which I like, but it’s nice to be able to balance savory and sweet rolls I really liked this sushi spot, and I left feeling pretty full, which is rare for me and sushi. The freaky edamame are great as well.

Great quality sushi and really good lunch specials. Bummed that they stopped doing all you can eat but I can understand why they stopped. Only giving the place three stars because of the drug dealing that is going on at the brewery next door. It is happening out in the parking lot and it no longer feels like a safe place to go with family. Ill still stop by for take out, but don’t want to get caught in some bad drug deal in the parking lot or brewery patio next door so won’t eat in anymore.

The sushi is really good and the prices are decent but the service is SO hit or miss… I really wish i could give it a 3.5. I feel like a 3 is low since the food is good, the place is clean, and the service isn’t ALWAYS horrible but the fact that the service is horrible sometimes does not warrant a 4 in my book. I prefer to dine on days when I know it won’t be too busy bc that usually takes care of the service issue! We usually get some combination of the M3, crazy boy 1, PK1, the pepper Finn(definitely try this) and the Kathy’s hand roll. They have many other options but over the years we have narrowed it down to these favorites! Also on colder days the rock shrimp and stuffed mushrooms are delicious options!

My husband and I went in for AYCE sushi lunch, which was over $ 20. Definitely above the price point we were expecting. We ended up here because the wait at Raku was way too long, and another nearby sushi restaurant only did AYCE for dinner. The service here is excellent, and the staff is super sweet and helpful. Slightly dismissive when I brought up my food allergy, but still guided me toward which items would be safe to order. You order from the menu rather than picking sushi off of a conveyor belt or boat, so the plates they bring out are really fresh. However, my insight on the quality of their rolls is limited because of my allergy. There was very little that I could choose from, and they don’t allow substitutions. The space itself was a little crowded and awkward. It looks a lot bigger from the outside. Overall, I think that it was somewhat overprices. It might be more justified if this place and Raku switched AYCE prices.

I’ve come here quite a bit in the past few years after moving to Rocklin. Place was okok in the past but their quality has seriously declined. Horrible manager/management…very rude and unprofessional. I highly doubt I’ll be coming bk

Speed Racer, also known as Mach GoGoGo, was a Japanese cartoon series where the voices didn’t quite sync up with the movement of the character’s lips. I still watched it, but I knew something wasn’t quite right when compared to other cartoons on the tube. This was my first time dining at PK. The staff was friendly and the service was fine, however the portion size, when compared to local competitors, seemed a bit small for lunch plates. For what you pay for a very small plate at PK(with a small single entrée, rice and basic salad), you can get the same quality(or better) at the competition AND larger portions and the addition of a basic sushi roll and miso soup. The«Rocklin» rolls were heavy on the rice, but overall the flavor was okay… but why so much rice? Speed Racer once said«I must not lose, if I do, I can’t win!» With so much local competition between the Japanese restaurants, they should all be asking themselves«what can I do to not lose, because if I lose, I can’t win!»…even Chim Chim knows this. Maybe start by visiting the competition and checking out what’s under the hood… and don’t forget to check the trunk. Sometimes there’s a little kid and a chimpanzee hiding inside.

Still my favorite sushi place anywhere. My famously picky parents ask to go here before we’ve ever left the airport. We’ve been there twice in a week. It’s seriously the best sushi in town and the best value.

I went to PK Sushi because I was craving miso soup. I ordered a California roll, 2 orders of miso and edamame, to go. Took it home and discovered that their miso soup is just broth. No seaweed, green onions, tofu, nothing. Just miso broth, the California roll had imitation crab that tasted fake and oddly salty, and their edamame was cold and had no salt. It was super disappointing all around. Won’t be going back.

Awful business, I will never eat here again. The rolls with hot ingredients were cold, and sub-par, and a lot of the fish was tasteless… but that wasnt the bad part. The place closed at 9:30, and I saw two men walk in at 8:07 and ask for all you can eat, and the hostess told them that she wouldnt serve them, because it was past 8pm! Wow, 7 minutes? The whole restaurant was still open for another hour plus. The guys calmly explained that they drove from far away, and the hostess STILLTURNEDTHEMAWAY! over 7 minutes! It gets better though… Maybe 20 minutes go by, and an asian family came in for all you can eat and guess what?! They seated them all and served them! I was so offended that I stopped eating and left the restaurant. I, for one, couldn’t believe they’d turn customers away over 7 minutes, but I was even more shocked that the same hostess let more people in for the same meal she just turned others away for. I will not ever be going back to this place, and I recommend you do the same. This place sucks.

Really this should be 2 stars. But because the waitress was nice I’ll give them an extra star. BBQ tuna was just awful, and served with some weird Italian dressing. The fish tasted kind of frozen and soggy. Onto my zig zag roll which was COLD. Not even lukewarm but cold, like it bad been fried in the morning and rolled up in the afternoon cold. Yuck. And my brother’s shrimp rolls, all fried were just as cold, and the salmon and spicy tuna just as bland and unfresh. Awful choice to come here. And don’t be fooled by half off rolls advertisement. It’s already half off so you pay exactly what’s on the menu. Don’t be fooled, and read the fine print. So basically it’s all like regular price since most rolls are. $ 8-$ 13. No big savings here. Skip this place and go somewhere else.

It was love at first bite. From their inexpensive menu, to the great service, and down to their most amazing Pepper Fin dish I’ve tried. PK Sushi has the best sushi chefs in Roseville. They have an All-You-Can-Eat menu, which doesn’t sound appetising from past experiences, but their sushi is really fresh and delectable. I always order their combos, since you get more out of your meal. Definitely try their ‘Blue Oaks Combo’, it has Sashimi and Sushi rolls that are absolutely sensational for a non michelin star restaurant(and I rarely give 5 star reviews). The restaurant is relatively small and cozy but has big windows that creates a very fresh vibe which makes it the perfect spot for a weekend-get-together with the girls, or luncheon with a co-worker. I did not get to enjoy their desserts, but next time I come here I will have to write an update!
