IHOP

They should call this the international house of price gouging. We came in with our kids in tow, which always makes the bill much larger, but you expect a normal priced kids menu. Well, the kids menu placemat that the kids choose from has no prices, apparently you have to do your research in the adult menu when ordering. Two of my youngsters got chicken and waffles, one got 5 star pancakes. The pancakes meal was $ 5.29, and each of the chicken and waffle meals was $ 6.39 which wasn’t discovered until we got the check. No drinks included. When you go to Red Robin, Chili’s or other chain sit down restaurants, the kids meals are about $ 4.99 which is appropriate for little ones that have smaller meals. At Red Robin the drink comes with the kids meal… I think Chilis does as well. In addition, they have pretty good and healthy menu options like mandarin oranges or apple slices instead of fries… IHOP does not. IHOP has mostly breakfast combos for the kids and Mac and cheese or grilled cheese. Pretty lame selection with no healthy choices. In addition, the food isn’t that good. Even Denny’s is better, and one night a week kids eat free, but not IHOP. I guess IHOP is known for their pancakes, so if you are coming here, stick to those. My wife got a bacon cheeseburger for $ 9.69 which wasn’t great, and it came with literally 10 French fries (is there a potato shortage I’m unaware of?). I got chicken strips and fries meal for $ 9.69. The wait staff was OK, but never really came back to check if we needed refills on our water. What a disappointing and overly expensive meal. Will not return!!!

Worst possible service ever. We knew it would be a wait on Christmas, we knew the food would be average… we didn’t expect our waitress to be making out with her boyfriend at an empty table, not her back up «partner» to me a severe meth head, loud mouth that was running in circles and getting nothing done. They did nothing but talk shit to, and about, each other. Poorest example of service I’ve seen in a really long time.

I am a huge fan of ihop but the staff here moves at a snail pace. Our waitress couldn’t multi task if her life depended on it. Big sigh.
Oh and their food sucked.

Our waiter was Mike. He forgot to put in my finances food which would have been forgiven except he didn’t check on us. Not once. We had empty waters the entire time and he blatantly ignored us and continuously checked on the table right behind us. I used to be a server (7 years) and understands how hard it can be. You’re tired and over worked and breakfast service is usually hectic and crazy. All I was expecting was a full water, hot food, and to be checked on once after the food was served. I was so disappointed in his attitude and blatant disregard for our table. Won’t be back to this location.

The food is IHOP food. It tastes exactly like what you’d expect. However, I’m sitting in the most awkward seat in the restaurant, literally right in the middle of the isle. People keep walking past me and brushing up against me. Then the servers talk to each other about 3 inches from my head. WAIT FOR A BOOTH!

Quick stop before we hit the rafts in the American river. Great way to start the day!

I’m not sure if I should give it 5 stars yet because I haven’t received my food, but already the way we were welcomed by our server (Tiffany) has been 5 star. Loved her attitude!

Came with my girlfriend just before noon on a Saturday. Wait time was fast. Server was nice. But the table they sat us at was still dirty and she didn’t wipe it down. I cleaned the table myself. Also, the floor was messy. 3 stars because cleanliness.

Went here last night for a late meal with the wife and the food was great and the service (Zachary) was excellent! Honestly I haven’t been to this location in almost 10 years, so last night was a welcome change. It was mostly empty (which was fine with me), but then I was there at 8:00 PM on a Sunday night following the 4^th of July weekend, so who knows. I will try it again another time and follow-​up more then.

I keep getting emails for a free stack of pancakes from this location and I’m hesitant to go back, because they do not have a gluten free menu despite being such a large chain… you can only get omelettes and eggs etc, rendering this birthday gift useless if you’re on a gluten-​free regimen. Original Pancake House down the street gets my vote over this place. It’s worth the extra minute or two drive.

I watched my finished breakfast order sit on the order line for 11 minutes, awaiting my waitress to bring it out, while she stood there on her phone… Once it came out, the eggs had a weird tinny aftertaste and my coffee tasted like an ashtray. No thanks.

This location has gone down hill over the years. This last visit WILL be our last. I brought my daughter here for her birthday breakfast, as we usually do as she loved their breakfast options.
We both ordered over medium eggs. The eggs my daughter received had multiple pieces of shell in it as well as a runny white that was not fully cooked, and was so bad she couldn’t even eat it! We also ordered bacon and specifically requested it be crisp overdone bacon, in which again my daughters was barely done, raw fatty bacon. My orange juice glass came with a questionable sticky residue. The table we were seated at came with some greasy residue layer on the top, as well as the ketchup bottle complete with butter on the outside.
I assume the waitress saw me taking pictures and that is why she gave me 20% off for the shell being in my daughters eggs. For that you get one star. Everyone else I would suggest any place else for breakfast!!! Photos to be uploaded soon.

We really enjoy IHOP! But this weekend we went, I ordered eggs benedict. The hollandise sauce was literally bad!!! They brought it out and the sauce was lumpy and had a stinch. I thought maybe they cooked it differently, but I took one bite and almost threw up at the table. :(The cooks served me who knows how many days old hollandise sauce. Very disappointed this happened. The waiter didn’t bring it to managers attention. This could have made me very sick or anyone else who ate it.
I gave 1 star because the service was good.

I am always very pleased with this ihop. Today I came in on a very busy Sunday morning after placing a to go order. The hostess (not sure her name, young blonde girl) made sure my meal was just what I wanted. When I gave her ny coupon she said she hadnt seen it before and talked her manager who was able to assist né even though my coupon was not for the right resturant. Excellent service and even better customer service! Thanks! Food was great too A++

Quick and pleasant time here at this ihop. The food came out kind of slow and a bit cold but we were hungry and didn’t really make it concern. Although It tasted just fine. I believe our server was Drew or Andrew (something like that, wasn’t paying much attention when he introduced himself was focusing on the menu) he was polite and courteous. I believe he noticed that I wasn’t 100% satisfied with my plate and offered to do something about it but I was hungry and in a hurry so I told him my plate is perfect. I guess I can say it was a quick and somewhat pleasant time at this location. Drinks were topped off in a timely manner and place was clean. It’s a corporate diner, can’t make to much of a complain.
NOTE: Not a family owned diner where things are home made fresh and what not, so don’t expect much. Just get in and get out type of thing.
On a side note– clean your bathrooms, I hate walking into a dirty bathroom. Mirror had soap all over it and napkins were everywhere. I don’t think there is a routine check for bathrooms at this location because soap seemed like it was dry on the mirror and there was a good amount of napkins on floor with an overfilled trash. You know what they say, if the restroom is dirty it’s usually known to have a dirty kitchen as well!

I had an exceptionally great time at this IHOP and if you can ask for Andrew’s service he knows how to provide outstanding service with a smile! Food was served in a timely manner as well.

I have eaten at this IHOP a few times. Mostly because they are open on holidays like Christmas. It’s okay– just okay.

Orders never seem to come out completely correct. Usually the wrong meat or a forgotten item nothing too big.
Seems understaffed. Servers don’t get back to the table very often. Good thing they leave a carafe of coffee.
I will probably continue to go here on holidays when it is the only thing open, but there are far too many breakfast selections in the area to come here on a regular basis.

Came here the other night for dinner. The place was a ghost town. Seriously maybe two other tables were occupied. So I thought for sure we would receive great service and get our meal pretty quickly. Boy was I wrong. We saw our server three times. That’s it. He was literally no where to be found when we needed him. And when he was around he was chit chatting with the bus boy and hostess. They just hung out talking avoiding a very minimal amount of tables and real work to be done.
Also I had read online that this location had a kids eat free deal for the time we attended and when we asked the server said that they did not do that. I’m not sure if the internet was wrong or if the server just wasn’t properly trained.
The food was good but the service was surprisingly not great

HHHHHMMMMM… breakfast…
I tried a little bit of everything on this trip. I ordered the breakfast melt sandwich which was buttery toasted bread heaven, with eggs/​ham/​cheese. It was pretty good even if my heart was slowing down after every bite of fatty goodness. Stole some pancakes from my daughter and french toast from my wife. Both were pretty decent. Bacon was a complete mess. Two thin strips of chopstick sized bacon and they were as limp as a noodle. No thanks. Not my kind of bacon. Service was a little on the moody side. This place was fine, just about what I expected.

Ordered the breakfast sampler. The bacon was so old and greasy. My eggs were cold and rubbery. Hash-​browns were undercooked, bland and small portioned.
My pancakes were cold so I asked for my syrup to be warmed up and my waitress just rolled her eyes at me.
The cashier was extremely slow checking me out.
