I went in to the Panda Express off of Crossings Dr. In Rocklin, CA15 minutes before they were closing at about 9:45. I’m a vegetarian and can only eat chow mein and veggie spring rolls & they refused to make any food for me because they«already cleaned the kitchen.» I sell cars, and if I need to stay late to help a customer and provide good customer service I do because that’s the proper way to run a business. It’s their job to make fast food, and it’s not a difficult one nor is it hard to stay 20 more minutes so that someone has a good experience and actually gets to eat. They ruined my night. I will NEVER even think about eating at ANY Panda Express ever again thanks to that snobby little brat of a cashier and her manager who was sitting in the lobby and EATING while this happened.

Food is good, but the management is terrible. They are always out of entrees, chow mein, rice, etc because they plan poorly. They do not call for the cooks to make something until they are out of the item… not when they are running low. Then they tell you it will be 5 – 6 minutes. Today they took my order for three plates, said they were out of chow mein, so that I would need to wait«5 minutes.» Then they took my money, and put the empty containers aside to await the chow mein, while they served other people. 10 minutes later when the chow mein is ready, they find out that they have sold the entrees that I ordered, to the people in line behind me… so I have to wait while they order those! Other locations never seem to run out of food items like this. Someone needs to take over management. This place is always like this. The guy in line in front of me said the same thing.

Good place to grab lunch. They always busy. Love the outdoor seating, specially spring time. But if you come after lunch is a good place to just enjoy a quite lunch

I like panda, but when I go to the one in Loomis there never seem to have it together. They are always out of teriyaki chicken or its not cooked all the way very disappointing I’m going to have to stop going there all the other locations in the area seem to be ok

The line was entirely too long. Thus, the wait was unacceptable. The food was OK, but certainly not worth the wait. My chicken and beef were chewy, kind of like they were overcooked.

Ive only been to this panda express once when it first opened but will be going again tomorrow. Theyre orange chicken, chow mein, and rangoons are so good. So is there customer service. People that give fast food joints 1 stars need to stop having such high expectations of them. Its fast food not gine dining for petes sakes!!! For what it is its pretty good =)

Orange chicken and chow mein need I say more? Well I will say more because the orange chicken at this particular location wasn’t tender at all and it was difficult to chew on certain pieces. The chow mein was adequate and the beverage machine had a few good choices. I will give another star if the chicken is more edible next time.

When I go to Panda all I expect is mediocrity. I like the food and they are usually pretty fast and friendly. However after visiting this location twice I have found none of these things to be true. The staff is as apathetic as they can be. Rude and short not only with me but also with the customers in front of me This place is run by a bunch of kid s that don’t care. The portions are also smaller than I am served at other Panda Express locations. So if you are craving Panda I would recommend choosing another location. Mediocrity would be a huge achievement for this bunch.

This store must have just open, they haven’t got down the correct recipe combination. They didn’t cut the vegetables small enough chow mein and the broccoli and beef was missing oil sauce.

All I can say is that I am never going to this panda express again or at least until they get their stuff in order. I showed up to find out that two of their entrées were completely out and I need to wait 20 minutes for both the orange chicken and the King pao chicken. The staff is nice but waiting 30 minutes for my food including walking up to take my order is not OK this is supposed to be fast food!

If i could give zero stars i would. Panda Express really is the McDonald’s of all Chinese food. Went about 30 minutes ago. So roughly 9 p. m The place was pretty empty. Which i enjoyed. On the other hand it was like walking into a freezer. Now i dont usually complain about the temperature of a place, but this place was so cold i could barely stand there to order. Now the food. I ordered three different bowls. One with orange chicken and white rice. The second with mushroom chicken and fried rice. The third with mushroom chicken and regular white rice. The orange chicken was so hard you couldn’t even bite into it. The mushroom chicken tasted like a mushy mess. And the rice was so hard you couldn’t even eat it. The containers that hold the food while you’re ordering looked dirty, and not kept up on. Oh, and the cups they gave for drinks had a slimy almost oil feel to them. Will definitely never be going back.

As far as Panda Express goes, this is probably the best I’ve been to. The place is new and has a nice modern feel to it. The dining room was clean but we opted to sit outside on a gorgeous night. The service was fast and friendly. The«new» fried rice recipe(egg shortage) was surprisingly good. We all had orange chicken and enjoyed it. I had the Beijing beef and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. My wife was happy that she had the steamed vegetables as a side. All-in-all, a job well done to the crew.

My partner and I refer to Panda Express as «Cheap Chinese.» It’s somewhat of a go-to for us when we don’t feel like cooking and want something relatively fast. So… the food is good, but certainly not the best Chinese I have ever had. I really do like the orange chicken, which seems to be their signature dish. What really turns me off about this location is the service. Every time I’ve gone there for dinner, many of the dishes on the steam table are nearly empty, and the cooks in the kitchen seem to be twiddling their thumbs. This is understandable it it’s nearing closing time… but not when I arrive at a reasonable hour. The servers should be keeping close watch on the tables and letting the cooks know when entrees need to be replenished. A customer should not have to wait for them to cook the food. This is fast food after all. I was in this week and literally had to wait for them to make sweet and sour sauce to go with my egg rolls. The cook seemed put out when the server asked him to make it. They have also been out of egg rolls every time I’ve been there. I have had to wait for those to be cooked. I don’t mind waiting if the place is super busy and the cooks in the back are running around, but to look in the back and see the cooks meandering about without any sense of purpose while the buffet tables are not well-stocked makes me just a little crazy.

current crew is the best I’ve seen at this location. Eden was a sweet heart. And like always the food was fresh and delicious!

Third time visiting this panda for dinner. Food is the same as all others. Staff is good. They are always busy. Could probably get food to go from another place in town for how long you have to wait. I would say under staffed, but there was seven people working.

So, the mushroom chicken and broccoli beef was very good, although, I got there directly when they opened. A little on the greasy side but it is fast food. My REAL issue was the portion size=/ They are sneaky here, they give you these baby size containers for alla carte entrees. It’s literally 3 bites and if you order broccoli(huge) nothing fits! That seriously was the most expensive 6 bites of Chinese food I’ve ever had. No good.

Your typical Panda Express; good food and friendly service(and the service when I went was exceptional!). The style of this chain is like a cafeteria; you order at the counter, they dish it out, you pay and you eat. This is Americanized Chinese Food at its best.
