First timer with family — it was AMAZING. HUGE portions so be prepared to split with someone else, friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Will definitely stop in again the next time I’m in town.

Great breakfast spot AND they take reservations! We had thought about eating breakfast at a spot closer to home but the wait was much too long. Called VR and they said it would only be a 25 minute wait. Our table ordered three different meals: two orders of two, two, and two with sourdough French toast(delish), bird’s nest egg Benedict, and an omelet with linguca sausage. Wanted an order of gluten free pancakes but they were out. Boo. But the food was tasty — hot when it arrived and so much — we took two boxes home as leftovers. Fun painted wall with lots of Easter eggs. Enjoy your feast when you go and find all the fun pictures.

Large portions and nice staff. Food quality was poor and prices were high. We won’t be returning. So sad to see this place go downhill. Years ago it was a highlight of Rocklin!

So expensive. Omelette and tea. 20.00 by the time I paid tax and tip… Not worth it. Make smaller portions. charge less and your restaurant will be full!

Pretty good service. The food was decent. Huge portions. Good thing is you won’t leave here hungry!

Came here for breakfast before working a black Friday shift. Don’t let the rating fool you. This place is really nice. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are very accommodating, and the prices are fair. However, the good is fairly average. It’s not bad by any means, just not particularly amazing. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting a simple American breakfast. There’s a lot of egg dishes available among other options. I really liked their salad and the pumpkin pancakes. I personally feel like the tomatoes in the omelettes are a little overpowering, but that’s a personal preference.

By far the best breakfast and lunch place in town. Great food and great service. This has always been our go to place on a Sunday morning. Ralph the owner always goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome.

Not the best and not the worst. I have been here a few times while visiting a good friend in the area. While we didn’t have to wait for a table the hostess wasn’t very pleasant and I didn’t see her smile once when we were there. As far as the waitress goes she was as attentive as she could be considering there was only 2 working in our section. I think my biggest problem was she didn’t say excuse me every time she reached over me or the table. I might go back if I am in the area but, there are so many other places I want to try.

Oh my so good! I love this place and will choose it over any other breakfast place in the area! Everything I try is phenomenal. The wait time is decent and all but 1 staff member are extremely friendly. My favorites are the chili omelet and orange juice. Yum!

I always used to go here when I lived in the Rocklin area and the service and food was great and consistent. Lately I have been going here and the food with flavor has been a hit or miss. The service today and previously was bad. I had to ask someone to take our order and bring our drinks. Also, to pay we were ignored at the counter while standing there and not once asked for a refill or checked up on. I did mention it to the server and just heard that she was assigned too many tables and was too busy. The food was good this time, but service poor. Not sure if I want to drive all the way to Rocklin if this business is inconsistent.

Regular at this establishment. Honestly couldn’t ask for better food and quality service. Warning you get a lot of food so come hungry.

Went here on a Sunday morning. It was busy! We accidentally got skipped during the fifteen minute wait and they immediately seated us once we brought it to their attention. I had a steak with a generous helping of eggs and hash browns. We also ordered their bottomless mimosas which paid for themselves in two drinks. Lots of champagne too so we liked them better than the average mimosa. Service is fast and prompt once you’re at a table. Good tasting food and portions are generous considering their pricing.

We came here at 2pm on a Sunday and were able to be seated right away. I have been here earlier on a Sunday and they get quite busy. They have quite a variety on the menu for breakfast and lunch. The omelets are 4 egg and we didn’t want that much food so my companion went with an egg Benedict and I had a veggie sandwich. There are many choices of side to go with your breakfast or lunch meal from hash browns, fruit, tomato slices, cottage cheese etc. and for a little more you can upgrade to fry green beans or sweet potato fries. The variety and the fresh food it their«claim to fame». I brought half of my sandwich home for later as it was so large. Nothing special about it but it was good. My companions Benedict looks good and he left satisfied.

Located in Rocklin off Granite. Decent sized restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. I have visited a few times for lunch and brunch. Staff was friendly and mostly prompt. Seating can be quick or a little bit. Can get busy. Beverage order was taken quick. Ordered endless mimosas and coffee. Drink refills can vary. Consistent at times. Slow to empty at other junctions. Mimosa is well priced at 3 more dollars for endless from the price of the one glass. Food order was Venita Browns and Good Morning. Both came with eggs and the protein selection vary. One comes with hash browns. The other with choice of potatoes or fruit. Choice of bread. Wheat, sourdough, bagels, white, or wheat English muffins. Hash browns were ok. The fruit was mostly sweet. The bacon and sausage was ok. The chorizo was cooked through and seasoned as expected. Ordered the bagel and wheat English muffin. The muffin was prebuttered. Right amount of butter. Bagel was alright. Good: quick service, affordable filling priced breakfast. Bad: can get busy Experiences here have been mostly ok to good. We are repeat visitors.

I’ve been here several times now and the food is absolutely consistent. Best fries around(and I normally don’t eat them). A nice place to bring relatives and friends for a decent meal. Good Mahi tacos !

I thought I had already reviewed this great establishment, but I guess not. We went her about 4 wks ago and met friends for Sunday brunch, they have bottomless mimosas and our waitress made sure we were never empty. I got the basic eggs, bacon, hash browns & biscuit and had leftovers. Bacon was yummy and they cooked it just the way I like it(i order my bacon chewy lol). The biscuit was not house made but still good, I would order again. One note is that my hubby had a benidict but the extra hollandaise sauce was cold, not sure how that one works, hope it was a fluke. Our companions had been here before and enjoyed their meals as well! We hope to go back and try more on the menu!

Not impressed. Décor is a little strange. Seemed like none of the help was happy to see anyone today. Long faces… Our server was pleasant though. Ordered a veggie omelette, asked to add jalapeños in the omelette and a side of bearnaise sauce to go over the whole deal. Food came. Jalapeños from a jar, bummer. Mushrooms paper thin like the ones from a can. No eggplant in the omelette as was stated on the menu. Veggies not drained before being added to omelette so a watery mess on plate and had to use napkin to soak up mess to avoid sogging my hash browns. Bearnaise sauce was cold. Wanted to like this place. I prefer Pegs or Evans Kitchen

I’ve been here a few times with my wife. Granite Rock Grille is MY place with my dude friends. But when I go out with the wife and kid, this is the place I go. I dont want to draw comparisons — but I was REALLY surprised at their expansive menu AND how fresh the food was. My wife ordered a breakfast quesadilla and it fed her, my son and there were left overs for the next day. It was ridiculous. I ordered the french toast. Nicely made. A bit on the eggy side — but that is OK. Their dishes seem to have little grease. I’ve been to several places where they just cake on the oil for eggs — I hate that. There is also a man — who I dont know — who welcomes people. He sits at the«bar» and sometimes seats folks. I assume he is management or the owner — but it is a nice touch. All in all, I really enjoyed this place. The big downside is weekends it is PACKED. And it is relatively small — so there will be a wait. But there is a reason for the wait — the food is awesome.

This is a quirky little café with a good olé boy country feel. We were seated way in the back corner where nobody could see us and I think it might have affected our service as it was a tad bit slow. We ordered breakfast food and received nothing bad but nothing special as well. The most popular item seemed to be the«free chocolate mint ice cream cake» you receive on your birthday! The serving was huge and at least 3 tables were there celebrating B-days and getting this yummy looking cake. For us the food was nothing special and the service was rather slow, but if its your Bday you might want to drop by :)
