Had a great experience here. Fast, courteous service. Food came out great. Pancake here tasted better than one on George Bush. Orange juice had pulp, which adds authenticity. Behind the restaurant is one of the most serene views of a meadow I have ever seen. Nature stays beautiful even if few take notice. I’ll post a pic.

Not handicap friendly work or customer friendly. Please boycott! And keep in mind they keep paychecks and handle pancakes with bare hands!

Restroom unattended, started with a hand wash and nothing to dry hands with. A seemingly varied menu but missing two MAJOR items. No grits on the menu. No regular club sandwich. Two major mistakes for this region. Their«club» sandwich was just a sandwich. It was very dry, too much bread. Very bland. The fries were good.. I am not a regular patron of IHOP. Now I recall why. The service was good, just really bad food unless you order pancakes.

Great place for breakfast. With pancakes in its name it should have them nailed and they do. Kids(of all ages) love the chocolate chip pancakes! The wait staff is super friendly. Even when it’s early in the morning.

3 stars because they’re open when most others are closed. The food is always ok, but I guess going to ihop at 4:30am doesn’t mean you should expect much. The service is usually hit or miss but lately it’s been pretty good.

Wait staff is good but the kitchen really needs to learn how to cook. Very bad food won’t go back

Second time I’ve been here, and it has been the worst experience ever. Manager or who ever seated us down came to us and another party and said«sorry I only have 2 servers on the floor» it’s not our problem. That’s yours. Especially at a well known restaurant? Why do you have 2 workers working? Isn’t there supposed to be like 3 – 6 servers at the most? We waited at least 30mins to be seated too. And once we got seated no one even asked us for our beverages, tsk tsk. Not a good thing to do.

Although no longer on the menu, balsamic tilapia is still available on request. It is EXCELLENT. With mashed potatoes, broccoli, and garlic toast it was only $ 9. All the dinner menu items are tasty and inexpensive. Service is always excellent as well. This location is highly recommended.

We’ve always received great service at this restaurant. Food is pretty good. On Saturday nights it’s never crowded.

Great Place for Sunday Morning Brunch but dammmmm the line is huge after church hours. We waited 35 mins to get a table. I love my pancakes and chicken and waffles. My wife ordered the 2 pieces of bacon eggs and 2 pieces of toast. Great place a bit noisy but good food and low price!

One of the best IHOPs in the area. They lose a star because it’s a little complicated to get there, but otherwise. Fantastic.

I’ve been to this location a few times. On this particular Saturday morning, we got there late and knew it was going to involve a wait, but we went anyway. I gave my name to the manager who was manning the wait list and he said it would be about 15 minutes. So we’re sitting, and waiting, when I notice that parties that arrived after us were getting seated ahead of us. So I check with the manager to see where we are on the wait list and turns out our names got accidently marked out. Not good. He said, «Don’t worry — I take care of people when that happens». I should’ve asked him what he meant exactly by that comment because I thought he was going to comp our meal. Wrong. We ended up getting seated at a booth and he said, «You ended up with a better table». Don’t know if it was worth the extra 10 minute wait. Our server was very nice. Looked like a young kid working his way through college or in high school. Food was good(for IHOP standards). Had to wait awhile for our check but aside from being passed over on the seating list and the manager not«taking care of us» like he said, the experience was OK. Incidently, I ended up going to the Richardson location off of I-75& Spring Valley this morning(because it was raining and our bike ride got canceled), and we had the best service at this location! All the staff at the front door greeted us as we walked in and were seated. Our server was great! Food was perfect. Didn’t rush us to leave. Absolutely no complaints about the Richardson location. They had a survey they wanted us to take so I think they were going out of their way to make it a great experience — and it was! Big difference between the Richardson location and the Rockwall locale.

I visited this IHOP in Rockwall, Texas at lunchtime today. We were seated quickly and a polite waitress took our order. Our order came out quickly, correctly, and while it was still hot. I enjoyed the chicken strips but the fries had a little too much spice on them. IHOP, UHOP, We all HOP for IHOP.

Ate breakfast here last week. Sat next to a table with a baby(maybe 14 mos old) in a high chair and no adult around. The wait staff kept giving the child menus and cell phones to keep him occupied and when he got bored, he started climbing out of the highchair and standing up in it. Meanwhile, all the customers are watching this baby swaying as he tries standing up on the chair. We all start yelling for help and the manager comes over and sits him back down and gives him some jelly packets to play with. I’m guessing an employee or maybe the manager didn’t have a babysitter so they brought the child to work. After an hour a woman comes in towing 2 other kids behind her and sat down at the table with the baby and began yelling at all the kids as she was ordering. One by one the servers came by and talked to all her kids, knew them all by name, and visited with the mom like they all knew eachother. WTH? I guess IHOP runs an in-house daycare too. So unprofessional and disturbing.

Seriously how can you not like IHOP. Jorge was the waiter. He was nice to my nieces. The only thing was I asked for eggs over medium and I got scrambled… Oh and the parking stinks. :)

Great service! Maggie was our waitress. She was very nice and helpful with a smiling face… Such a great change for once! The food was delicious. I have the french toast combo. They were out of blueberry or I would have given five stars!

Food is consistent. We tend to only eat here when we have a buy 1 get 1 free coupon. Total bill for two with coupon = $ 14 + tip. Worth it when I’m not in the mood to cook. Nothing here is out of the world with yummy goodness. Don’t misunderstand, it’s good, tho — better than mediocre. They’re menu has changed a bit. They have some new inviting items on the menu, so go check it out. For a breakfast joint, their burger & fries are really pretty good. Eggs and hashbrowns are always good. Pancakes very consistent. Never overcooked or undercooked. We do prefer homemade pancakes, but when you don’t have the time, these are a good substitute.
