I love this location. They are fast and friendly! Best of all, my coffee tastes amazing. I think some of the other reviews might have got the locations mixed up. There is NO drive thru at this one.

Well the person who took my order was really nice. But Romico the food guy is eating while making food and really does not want to be here. This Starbucks does not care about the experience. Mgmt please do something

This seems to be the most consistent(regarding drink prep/taste) Starbucks in the Rockwall area. Nice place to sit and relax alone or to catch up with friends and enjoy your favorite drink. :)

The Barista didn’t help me one bit on a new drink I was wanting to try the other day, but I didn’t know exactly how or what they put in it! I asked how they made it, and she just said how ever I wanted it. That’s great, but I didn’t exactly know what items they had to add. So I then just asked for a Black Shaken Iced Tea. She said they were out of that. I was like what kinda place is this to myself. And she wasn’t very friendly! Other than that I would have given a 5 star. This wasn’t the first time they have been out of Tea also. Isn’t that one of their good selling items? You would think they would have a few cases so to not run out. They just seem to draw a few cranky employees I’ve noticed in the last year to now.

A daily stop on my way to work. Same request daily but with pumpkin spice latte’s available for the season, that may change. I use Soy in my drinks and they never are out as a previous post suggested. Drive thru service is impeccable. They get drinks and food in and out. My only issue is their AC equipment is so close to the drive through mic, it must be hard to hear. I have to repeat orders occasionally. But that is my only gripe. Staff are friendly and converse with me each morning. I think Coleman is my favorite. Everyone exchanges friendly banter and well wishes for a good day. I’ve been inside twice and it has been very clean. Great outdoor seating available too. j

I like this place. Only had a problem once when I ordered two frappacinos(after waiting for a LONG time in line), got back to my car and did a double-sip wondering what was off with our drinks. After going back inside the store and waiting again in the same LONG line, I asked for my money back because the fraps had a strange taste to them. Turns out the person making them left out a key ingredient(I think she was new). They remade the drinks and all was fine. Staff seems to be pretty friendly for the most part.

Well… it’s not a busy day here at the buck. Yet the bathroom was dirty. Condiment bar was dirty. I ordered a frappuccino with espresso whip cream. The barista ran out of it and didn’t bother asking me if regular whip cream was okay. He just topped it off and handed it to me. No apology about the whip cream. This seems trivial but if I ran out of something, I would inform the customer. Unprofessional… considering I was standing right at the handoff plane.

First try for Starbucks in new city. My coffee was exactly how I ordered it. Very busy but staff was fast. Love the extra seating outside. Some dirty tables but like I said, busy. I blame that more on lazy customers who find it beneath them to clean up after themselves or their kids. I will return.

One of the best Starbuck’s I have ever been to. Super nice people and obviously great leadership. If you’re in Rockwall you GOTTA stop by!

Very cool local place. You can tell all the regulars that go there every day and sit and talk. If they don’t know you the locals will stare. It was funny, like an old movie where a stranger comes into town and everyone is just staring with no regard. Employees are excellent and friendly. Coffee of course was awesome. Plenty of tables inside and outside. I like that.

Good people here. I’ve never had to wait long and it’s a pretty nice environment. I’ve talked about coffee with some of the baristas and they’re very into their jobs.

Good location! Right off the highway, so(kinda) easy to get to. It’s got a few tables outside, which is nice to sit out when the weather is permissable. Fast drinks, helpful and friendly service, the usual for Starbucks!

okay, so i’m really sad to report that this starbucks has totally gone downhill. as the lovely nadia said, it’s definitely a rockwall landmark… i just wish it lived up to its potential. let’s take a stroll down mem’ry lane, shall we? for as long as i worked there(2005 – 2008), i felt proud to work at starbucks. managers were professional and personable at the same time, and our entire staff became close friends. we all truly enjoyed working for the company. thus, the entire staff radiated positive energy, which upped sales, of course… but it also left customers coming back later on for another drink, or even just to talk and show baby pictures of their new grandkids. in short, we were a tight-knit store. now? awful. the manager is terrible. some of the shift supervisors«accidentally» open up each others paychecks to see who makes more. and, during, ten minute breaks, you can visibly see some baristas smoking out in their cars. i don’t care what you do on your own time. i don’t. but really? but don’t bring that shit to work. making coffee is not so entirely stressful that you should feel the need to get stoned. well, i guess, unless you’re working with shift sticky fingers, since that bitch is a real gem. basically, the entire store is unorganized, and unlike the baristas/shift supervisors/management from the glory days of yore, these new tools take zero pride in their work and have no enthusiasm for the company. they don’t care what you want. they don’t really want to know anything about your day. every starbucks serves the same beverage, and on a whole, i’m still a big fan of the company. but(and yep, i’m about to wax cheesy), it’s the experience and interactions you have that culminate with a nice atmosphere to create what the company refers to as «the starbucks experience.» all the pieces of the puzzle fit nicely, and you feel warm, welcomed, and respected. let me just paint an adorable picture of the current wreckage: you walk in, and an older woman(sticky fingers paycheck lady, to be exact! don’t you just hate her already?) with a sour look on her face asks for your order. you tell her, «yes, i’d like a triple grande skinny upside down caramel machiatto.»(this sounds complicated, but it isn’t if you work at starbucks). she glares at you, and then attempts to make strange conversation while simultaneously shoving pastries past their prime toward you. you’re all, «oh hey, no thanks. i’m actually going to have some homemade chocolate cake when i get home.» and she mumbles some rude comment about how these pastries are better than the cake i’ll be eating. haha, funny(or not) if it’s a weak attempt at a joke. only, she’s not kidding. she’s just really that much of a bitch. i also had the pleasant opportunity of witnessing this SAME bitch on wheels screaming at her fellow barista in front of customers before this poor other barista had even clocked in. i won’t go into details, but, with 3 years prior experience of starbucks(mostly at this store) under my belt, bitch on wheels’ claim lacked not only professionalism, but validity as well. and this is just a Grande sip of a Venti problem with this store. it breaks my heart. much like nadia, this place still oozes nostalgia for me, because i feel like i grew up at this starbucks. i have so many memories intertwined with being sixteen and driving for the first time, and drinking seasonal frappuccinos in shorts that were far too short like a tool on the porch. and nadia is so right; we all waited for the«hot» baristas, and knew each other, and the store just felt cozy. but after witnessing such radical changes in attitudes due to staff and management, i feel blessed not to work here anymore. i mean, would you want these kind of people making your drink? eek.

DEFINITELY a Rockwall ‘landmark’. I also spent much of me 16th year and the two following that until I graduated here. I, like many others from my lovely school, went here twice a day, before school and after. I went back when I was in town last week to meet up with my favorite barista from that period of time and its bittersweet. You chuckle cause you remember all the times in hs where you absolutely had to go when the hot baristas were working(because attractive dudes were ‘hot’ then.) and you had to stop by to say hello to people youre still good friends with now because your drink may or may not be cheaper than usual. Oh and cause you just had to have your damn frappucino or other crazy drink. And then its a teency sad cause I can almost guarantee everyone wishes they could go back just for a little while cause it was just so much fun? At Starbucks you say? Starbucks was the center of the universe? In sweet olé Rockwall, yep. Not to dog the really nice new people that work there but darlin, its just not the same!

This Starbucks is once of my favorites nearby. The employees are always friendly and the guest area is always clean. The other night my normal Starbucks(Off Horizon) was out of bananas for my Vivanno so I ran into this location. The girl making my vivanno filled a venti cup with my vivanno — Rock On! I did see a tiny cockroach crawling along the edge of the bar where drinks are served. I killed it with the free itunes song card sitting right next to the nasty bug. It was too busy to notify the staff, but if I saw it, I’m sure it wasn’t the first — cockroaches don’t travel alone. A bit concerning. My only other complaint is this location does not offer a drive thru which is convenient for mothers who have to carry their young child. On the plus side, this location does offer outdoor seating.
