We usually eat here just a couple times a year. The food is good, the service is okay, and the beer is good & cold as well. This trip, however, the blooming onion was good, but not completely cooked. They never offered us the warm bread. It was just an okay trip, and therefore they get just an okay review.

Great service. The food was okay. Was in a really random area.

In most cases Outback is just Outback. Commercially accepted greatness. But this particular location on this particular day must of had a rainbow end in its kitchen. Because everything was absolutely great. The food was cooked perfectly. Our server was perfect and friendly. Umm, everything was perfect. Appetizers were great. Beer was cold. Place wasn’t crowded. I thought I was in a commercial it was so perfect. Yea thats it.

I’ve eaten at outback even before they downgraded their menu during the housing bubble. I am not totally critical of restaurants because I know stuff happens in business but really? Should have got a clue when my brother and I walked in to an empty restaurant on New Year’s Eve last night. I think that silverware/napkins should be offered at the start of any meal. I think if you take an order for a couple of $ 22 steaks you might check on your customers once during the 55min wait between bread and meal. As this was a train wreak rather than become irate I like to see how dysfunctional an event like this is going to be! Well after being served 55min later I waited an extra min of so to see if they might bring utensils and napkins, nope I had to ask a passing manager. Ok some might think unnecessary wait no server, no big?! Well thats if the food(steak) were not tasteless and tough. The potatoes were good as was the mac&cheese hence the two stars.

Good for what it is. Bread used to be better, Alice Springs Chicken is my go-to dish. Service is fine for a chain.

As chain restaurants go, expectations are met and it’s usually toward the top, and rated(in the chain category) as such. Just don’t expect to be blown away(as you shouldn’t from a chain, just sayin). Quality is pretty good and it’s generally prepared and cooked well. Last time we went, my sirloin cut was a scrap piece full of sinew. Waitress was kind enough to ask to have it removed from our check. Would’ve been nice for a manager to stop by the table and allow us to compliment the young girl. I’ll go again because it’s usually pretty consistent and for the price, there isn’t a reason to go anywhere else for a steak. And please no, don’t get me started on Doe’s. ;)

I would not recommend this restaurant unless you are just having a drink. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was delivered to our table barely warm and cold in the center. We were having dinner with friends and we all decided to share a dessert. The carrot cake was delivered to the table and the first bite cut had a huge hair in it. I’ve never had anything like this happen at the Spingdale Outback. If you have your heart set on eating at an Outback restaurant… head South

We came early. The food came out slowly. Our waitress left halfway through the meal and they had just opened for dinner so that was weird. At the end we gave our card and were brought back the wrong receipt … Sat by the window dead flys on the windowsill… I doubt we will be back.

3 of us were here for a business trip so we decided to go somewhere that we feel comfortable about. Boy were we wrong. My full slap of ribs were burned so bad that you couldn’t taste any of it. My friends steak was well done when it was ordered as medium. We got one bread(cold) and server never asked if we want another one. I asked him if they accept outback reward program he didn’t even know what I was talking about. He didn’t even bother to go ask re Mgr. Mgr is wearing a pants with chain hanging from the back pocket. Yes that was the Mgr. Avoid a headache and go elsewhere!!!

When I come here, I always tend to get the coconut shrimp, as it has a wonderful flavor and helps me want their steak even more than I do on the way there! The natural cut bone-in Ribeye is their best steak, and it lives up to the hype.

Food was great, steak was cooked like I wanted it. Service was a little to be desired, but not terrible. Always a very consistent meal and time there.

Last time we ate here we decided was our last. Our food took almost an hour to come out and when it did it was horrible. Our steaks were over cooked and tough along with a lobster tail. Management adjusted our bill but regardless our experience was horrible.

It’s a typical Outback– in terms of food. I sat at the bar and the service wasn’t very good. Glass was empty. Had to wait a while for check and to pay.

The food was awesome, but you can definitely do better for you’re money elsewhere. I would only go if you enjoy spending a small fortune for small portion sizes. Also the service is very slow.

Went for dinner tonight. First time at Outback. Steak was good and the hostess was excellent. Service was terrible which is strange because they were not very busy. Waitress spilled salad dressing from another table on my wife. Think we’d get a visit from a manager with an apology? Nope. Overall the steak is not worth the rest of the visit. We won’t be back. Ever.

I came here on a Sunday evening with two coworkers – we were on a business trip and this restaurant was conveniently located next to our hotel. The food was fine – what you would expect from a massive chain like Outback. But the service was as unprofessional as I have seen. It was clearly overstaffed that night, as members of their team were moseying around the restaurant, singing, chatting with one another. The manager was wearing a thin, low-cut gray t-shirt that didn’t leave much to the imagination. A man who came in after us got his food way before us, and when we did get our food, half the lettuce of my salad was hanging off the edges of the plate which then dragged on the counter when the waiter put it down. I would hate to see this place on a busy night…

The Outback never disaapoints, always consistent. And always a wait to get in so if you are quick. you can jump to a booth in the bar. I love the warm loaf of bread they bring out. The house salad is good, one of the few that uses diced cucumbers. Good ranch dressing. The cheese fries has to be the appetizer of choice. Some might swear by the blooming onion but its just too greasy. I haven’t had a bad steak there I don’t think. I usually get the filet. Small enough but always cooked medium and just right. the top shelf margartia is good but just not worth the price for what you get. I also enjoyed the blackberry martini. Yum

I have eaten at Outback Steakhouses all around the world and the meal I had tonight was the worst. My wife and I stopped in after doing some shopping, still early and no wait to be seated, still happy hour to be exact. The person that seated us asked for drink orders and I was going to have a large Foster’s because it was part of the Happy Hour Special, my wife got her Walla Be Darned and I ended up with a small glass of flat something other than Fosters, tasted like a light beer of some sort. The waiter said«Sorry about that», but did not offer to bring me me the correct item. I finally asked him to take it away and bring me a glass of wine. They brought the usual loaf of bread, however, I had to ask our waiter for some bread plates. He said«Sorry about that» went and got two plates that were still dripping wet, when he noticed I was using my napkin to wipe them off, he said… wait for it… «Sorry about that», however, did add that«it was only water!». My wife had her usual Sirloin Steak and sides, however, trying to be more healthy I asked our waiter if the fish dishes were as good as the pictures looked(see Picture 1 in the photo gallery for example) he said«pretty close». I should have known then that that was not the way to go but hey Grilled Mahi, how hard can it be, with a few steamed vegetables on the side. I was ready for a good healthy meal. The fish was so over cooked when it was brought the to the table you could see heat rising from the fish, but not steam. It was so dry that when I took a bite it sucked the moisture out of my mouth… wow, never have I had fish this overcooked. When the waiter came by and asked the requisite«How is everything?» I told him the vegetables were great, however, the fish was way over done. He said«Sorry about that» and left. I was thinking surly he is going to get a manager or someone to authorize him to have my order remade… nope. A few minutes later he came by again and asked«How is everything?» and I responded veggies are great, fish is inedible. He said«Sorry about that». My wife finished her meal and I ate my veggies but left the whole piece of fish on my plate except for the 1 or 2 bites where I tried to find edible bits. The waiter came to clear the plates and said«are you finished» I said«yes» he said«I apologize for the meal not being to your liking, I really am sorry about that». No mention of a manager coming over or «would you like to speak to someone» and I know I should have asked… but I really wanted to see if the meal would be on my check. WOW!!! $ 16 worth of veggies. I did hear him mention to another table that this was his first week, but really if that is how they train their wait staff, to be so nonchalant, insensitive to what is going on around their tables and not have the initiative to try to make something right then it is a management issue from the top down. I know, blame me for getting fish at a steak place, but really, Aussies do know how to cook fish, and if they can’t here then take it off the menu. Please train the wait staff to ensure good customer service and if they have to say«Sorry about that» then they should take an action to fix the problem.

Date night with my daughter, she chose Outback. Service was decent for a busy Friday night. Our waitress took good care of us, refilling water glasses and getting our orders taken care of quickly. For the first time, I had a «Blooming Onion». After seeing them on television and hearing about them, I figured that we needed to try one. I was disappointed. I can’t really blame Outback here. It was as advertised — a half of an onion that had been sliced so that it «bloomed» and then battered and then fried. What we got was a big greasy ball of fat that had little«onion» flavor. We ate a quarter of it and the only reason I kept going back was that I hoped that it would get better. It did not. Steaks arrived. Nothing special here. We both had the«Outback special,» which is their signature sirloin with a side vegetable. Loaded baked potatoes for each of us, they were the highlight of the meal. I found the meat to be rather tasteless and a bit chewier than I preferred. It was… meh. About the only memorable thing was the«oil can» of Fosters beer. I can’t really say that I’ll be back.
