Back when I was in the restaurant business, my food rep told me that pizza was the way to go, because the margin was so high, anywhere from 200% to 500%, depending on the quality. His company stocked pre-made pizza dough that was $ 2 ea. for a large. It tastes terrible, like a plastic embalmed pretzel. That is what Red Brick Pizza tastes like. The dough does not taste like it’s freshly made, and it’s size, taste, and smell remind me a lot of those $ 2 crusts. A large pepperoni here was $ 16. Not worth the price.

Places like Pieology and Blaze are the Über of the pizza world, making eateries like Red Brick look like an old dirty taxi cab. Their salads are fine but we also want decent pizza. You hardly get any toppings for a huge price. I’d be happy if they migrated to the Blaze business model and would pay a premium to stay in PV. But their model is now archaic and they need to evolve to stay relevant. It would not be a major overhaul and this place could be packed.

What happened? We had not been here in a while but things have changed. Absolutely terrible cardboard pizza. The most bland taste. The good news is the salad was good but we didn’t come here for the salad. Just head down to Blaze if you want a better tasting pizza with better ingredients. Sad day for pizza lovers in PV.

This pizza sucks. Way over priced. Tastes like freaking paper. I rather eat red Barron pizza that’s only 4 bucks. Won’t be coming here again.

Pizza tastes very basic and lacks flavor. The cashier was not pleasant. I won’t be coming back.

pizza was ok however not really cooked well-done as we specifically asked for. The lack of the delicious watermelon soda that i used to dream about however I heard is no longer available at the Brea location, is a let down. TVS with direct tv at every table are great for the over 40 something’s who do not watch every possible thing on our handheld device(added close captioning which functions automatically when the set is muted would be a great option for a dining room attendant to take upon themselves to add to each TV) or for parents with busy toddlers who need the visual stimulation to be quiet-ish for other paying diners to enjoy their fare. clean restaurant. prices for the gelato are kind of ridiculous if you desire two different flavors. I’m sure we will return.

Terrible. You better off going to the local grocery store and getting yourself a frozen pizza. The reason for the one star is for the staff. Had a baseball party and the staff was more than accommodating.

I love this place! The manager and staff are very friendly, and best of all, they have delicious vegan, dairy-free pizza!!! I love the fact that they offer vegan options and that they taste so good. They also have very nice bread sticks that can be made vegan.

Very solid pizza café. The salads are great and the pizzas are well made with great crusts. The cheese also tastes like cheese, not a weird gooey cheese like substance. Came here before a movie with my daughter; the tvs in the booths are nice but more of a novelty, you’re not waiting a long time for your food to need it. Yummy gelato, great prices.

Convenient location in outdoor PV mall with a movie theater nearby. Stopped by for their lunch special which was 8 dollars and change for a medium drink and small size pizza, which is pretty much a personal pizza. Pizza quality was honestly average to me. Nothing special. Was expecting a little more. Pepperoni topping was okay but not too crispy how I prefer it. I had the pizza rustica thin crust which was okay, but again, not as cripsy as I expected. The plus is they have personal TVs at each booth which makes it an enjoyable and nice atmosphere to eat alone. Friends and pizza, pretty darn enjoyable. However would probably not come back unless out of convenience. Pizza was just not up to par in my opinion.

Don’t bother with their four cheese pizza. Other stuff is pretty good. Service is good too. Great for kids.

Good pizzas with thin crusts(if you like that) and the place is clean and in a good location. Like that they have several different types of pizzas(kind of like California Pizza Kitchen). Only negatives is the price is kind of expensive for what you get(small pizza for around $ 7 – 8) and took a while to get our order. Like the mini TVs in each booth with DirecTV. Probably would go again but not that often since it is kind of expensive.

The guys here do a good job of customer service. They are quick and attentive. The pizza is always cooked perfectly, but it eat it fast because it tends to get hard when it cools off. A great place overall especially if you have kids. I would give them 5 stars but I can’t because it can get expensive in here. So a solid 4 stars with no other complaints. Tip: Lower the volume at the tvs where no one is sitting or else you will get media overload.

I like the BBQ chicken pizza and Caesar salad. Owner is very friendly, staff is friendly, place is always clean. Its a good place to go for gluten free or dairy free issues, and is also very accomodating for other food allergies. My kids have these and love this pizza.

Had the pizza rustica last night and loved it. i do find it funny there are reviews on here complaining about the crust and then stating that they«prefer thick crust». lol the pizzas are made to order and fired in a brick oven in front of you. the pizza rustica seems like it has a slightly thinner/crispier crust than the standard fare and i actually prefer that. if you«prefer thick crust», you should probably order fast food pizza(or go to Chicago, IL), otherwise, if you like fresh, quality toppings at a reasonable price cooked quickly in front of you, you can’t go wrong here. =-)

Not great. Not bad. Clean dough and light ingredients. It’s a standard white-washed pizza with a pleasant base. I enjoy the dough quite a bit and I think that’s what makes me a fan. The ingredients are what they are and for the most part, they aren’t bad. I can see why most people would not like these pizzas because they’re not heavy, fatty, greasy, dripping with lard. Prices are decent, in my opinion, for clean and healthy pizza(depending on what you put on it). Pizza1: Thin crust with red sauce, chicken breast, olives, basil, and garlic. Pizza2: Thin crust with red sauce, prosciutto, arugula, basil, and garlic. Both were great and didn’t leave me feeling heavy. Nothing spectacular was found in eating these pizzas, but at the same time, I was very pleased with the light nature of the finished products. In Japanese cuisine, there is a saying: «Poor noodles cannot be saves with good broth.» I believe that in pizza, all you need is good dough and the rest is secondary. Though far from the best, Red Brick definitely has one of the cleanest, and I can appreciate that.
