The manager here(asian guy) is so cheap and rude. I had a coupon that was buy one get one free ANY bowl. When I ordered, the cashier was quite nice but said our manager only allows chicken for the bogo. I wanted a large beef and was told they only do chicken. The coupon clearly stated any bowl on the menu. They can’t just make up their own rules as they are part of a chain restaurant. Don’t want to go through the hassle of contacting corporate but made me want to. Would not come back here.

This place is not that good anymore. They used to give descent size portions of food that seemed prepared well. Nowadays the chicken taste pretty dry and on my last visit they gave kids size portion also i had asked for less veggies and when i came home it was a bunch of veggies and like three or four pieces of small chicken. Seriously what is this a kids size. I paid and asked for a large. So came home finished it and was still hungry from the lack of food they gave me. Next time i will check my food if i go here before i leave because there is a high chance they didnt do the order right.

I have never been a fan of Yoshinoya but that might just be me. The beef bowls taste really funky every time I get one and they are always rude.

I’ve been coming here for well over half a year. The chicken bowls and beef bowls have always been consistent and the customer service(Felicia and a handful of others that I met during the night shift) offer great service. I usually use their coupon for an even slicker deal, but beyond that my review just evaluates the restaurant on taste, service, and expectations. It is a quick and clean meal(maybe adding brown rice and more veggies would be healthier with less teriyaki sauce but I’m not complaining). I think the food is pretty delicious. As for portions, I think for a normal person the bowl won’t fill you up to the max, but it’s nice to have a light lunch during workdays so that I’m not feeling awful when I get back to workZ. I’m happy this place opened up(flame broiler is good too if you love bowls but the way they make it is totally different. I go for Yoshinoya when I’m feel meat that’s not grilled).

Service is bad. Cashier Ronnica(I hope that’s her name. Tthats what it said on the receipt. She had red hair with fan like fake lashes) was super rude and didn’t pay attention. She kept asking me «for here or togo» 3 times. She never gave eye contacts and never said«thank you» . She was talking to ppl inside the whole time with her hands and eyes on the cell phone. Someone needs to get re-tained for customer service.

Not a fan of this. I didn’t think it was a fast food chain. Foods are not good enough for even 3 stars. Not recommended

I’ve been eating Yoshinoya since I was young. If you have too, you’ve noticed the prices going up and the portions getting smaller. There is a yoshinoya closer to my house than this one, but, the portions at this one are much better. I definitely think that the onions and portion size is due to time if day. If you go really late, it seems like you get more beef. When I got a regular beef bowl for lunch, I had the issue of the onions not being completely wilted. I now order large size beef bowls just to make sure there’s enough meat. It’s just that their beef bowl is one of my comfort foods. For years, you could count on every yoshinoya to be the same. From Tokyo to Glendale, they tasted the same. I only like the original beef bowl and won’t order anything else.

This Yoshinoya opened up near where I live, but I’ve never visited it until recently. Yoshinoya serves primary rice bowls. They used to only have Teriyaki Chicken and Beef, but they’ve expanded to include Asian Chicken Wings and Angus Beef. The quality of their food is fairly good compared to the other Yoshinoyas that I have been to. The vegetables are steamed, but have not yellowed. The chicken is a little tough sometimes, but not a problem. The only thing that makes it feel weird is their teriyaki sauce. For some reason, it is vastly different from teriyaki sauce from other places and it seems to be made from some sort of fruit base that is much sweeter than regular teriyaki sauce. As a result, it tasted weird to me because I am so used to the teriyaki sauces of other places. The only reason this place does not get 5 stars is because of the place where they put their sauces. They put all their soy sauce, chili flakes, and ginger in a small corner next to the fountain drinks. The ginger is left out there for who knows how long and sometimes even dries out. It has never been messy, but there are sometimes soy sauce stains and chili flakes spread over that corner.

I don’t know about the other chains(and I am grading as the general Yoshinoya chain if other chains do this too) but seriously… if your going to charge almost $ 8 for an Angus bowl, please give a descent amount. I’m not a be a big girl but seriously the amount of meat barely filled my belly. It was all rice and a few pieces of meat and no veggies. Even with a coupon(buy 1 get one) its still quite expensive for what I get. It was a joke. So if this is a corporate thing, then they better do something about not being too frugal or charge lesser(i go to Yoshinoya for many years now) and seriously within the past few years it went from $ 5-$ 8 a bowl! I know its inflation but geez, its crazy. Increase the price and cut back on the meat. That’s bad management. Parking: Sucks to say but the parking at this location is horrible.

Best Yoshinoya location around. Every time I go to another Yoshinoya location I end up being disappointed. At other locations I often get beef that is dry and lacks flavor, rice/vegetables that are mushy, chicken that is not crispy and inconsistent/smaller portions. At this location… never. Here the food is always consistent, fresh and cooked perfectly. The service is awesome as well. I have been here over 20 times and I have never been let down, they even remember my name. They actually greet all their customers and the food always comes out fresh and fast.

Came on oct 5th, cashier was extremely polite and fast to help when I asked for sauce cups. Not sure why another review had an issue with her«ignoring asian customers». Sounds rediculous.

I’m reviewing solely on service alone. The Asian girl cashier in the front was the worse.(I think her name is Shirley.) My fiancé and I came in Sunday night October 5th. She greeted Asians with no respect and non Asians with more enthusiasm. I don’t appreciate this kind of negligence in this kind of establishment, ever. What tipped me off was I didn’t want to be a rude customer side busting the line to ask for a bag for my Togo items since we dined in. I decided to wait in line in front of one person to ask for the bag. After she took her order I walked up to the counter. She saw me but she turned away. I waited a little bit. The cook even made eye contact with me and I saw him tell her someone is in line and she still refused to acknowledge me. I gave up on the bag because the bag and she was not worth my time. On a side note, this place was disgusting. It was dirty everywhere. Not worth coming here overall and the parking is horrible.

I highly reccomend coming to this yoshinoya. It’s a bit quiet but the service makes up for it! The employees are friendly and the food is made and served quickly. It also helps that we’re regular customers and the employees already know us. Overall i highly recommend this location.

I go there for the clam chowder and clam chowder only. lol I’m not a big fan of beef bowl. Ever since I was a kid, I always thought that rice smelled kind of awkward. Is it just me. or do they give out stale crackers? This is my third time eating there. and it’s still stale? I can care less about the crackers. as long add I get my soup. I’m good. I’m a loyal customer. will come back for more! :)

I am so happy that there is finally a much more convenient Yoshinoya closer to my home. What I like about this particular location is their friendliness that I typically don’t see in most fast foods, like greeting us when we step in. Their beef tend to be juicier and tastier than other Yoshinoyas nearby. Also, their chicken are crispier. They also add more of their delicious signature teriyaki sauce in the bowl. This Yoshinoya has quickly became my favorite in service, taste, texture, and quality.

A girl name Jessica is by far the slowest cashier I have met. Twice I got her and because she doesn’t pay attention to her customers’ order, they end up waiting half an hour long for a 10 minutes order. Even the guy cashiers are faster than she is. Horrible.

This is our 1st stop on our foody trip to California! I have been craving Yoshinoya since we left Arizona this morning. I have to say it is way worth the drive from Pasadena! This location is clean and the staff was very friendly if I could give it a grade it’s an A++ This locations know how Yoshinoya is done right!
