My boyfriend is obsessed with Peg’s. A former Reno dweller, he was delighted to find a Peg’s near our home. Whenever we double date for brunch, this is where he begs to go. Probably because the waffles are the size of a small country. I personally find the food to be a bit bland and unoriginal, but I’ve been informed that my opinion re: brekkie diners is to be ignored(as I type this, he is reading over my shoulder, saying, «Bland? BOO-FRICKIN-HOO, IT’S DELICIOUS»), so whatever. Service is always good and the wait is never long. They have fruit. I’m good.

4.5 stars. Our server was Casey(sp?) and she was very helpful and pleasant as was the cashier. My wife had the deep fried spam and eggs. 3pcs of almost ½″ thick pieces of spam, deep fried to crisp on outside with soft juicy warm center. Yum. The mac salad on the side tasted fresh and light instead of the traditional«ice cream scoop» serving at most places. My egg white veg omelette was very good. I loved their grits too. Hard to find places with grits these days too. Will definitely be back with my sights on their loco moco. Warm and friendly place with tasty food. Couple more visits like this and I’ll have to modify the rating closer to 5 stars.

The food and service was good, but my seat was next to the cash register and people were sitting on the back of my seat! One of your own servers was talking to her friend and thought it was ok for them to lean and sit on the back of my seat! I don’t know about you but I don’t want an Ass next to me when I eat! I might come back but you have to talk to your servers and tell them not to let people sit on other people’s seat when you try to eat! And tell your servers to do the same! It was just uncomfortable and flat out Rude by your employee!!!

Very nice location to sit out on the patio and have a good breakfast. I order the bacon and eggs which are always done to perfection. This place can get packed so come early!

Service was great, otherwise the food left a lot to be desired. Biscuits burned on the bottom, flavorless gravy. Coffee was okay. They think it’s cute or something to serve some items in a large skillet with a long handle. Just make it hard to eat.

We went to Peg’s Glorious Ham and Eggs in Roseville for breakfast today. What a disappointment! However, not very typical for them though. I ordered a remarkable easy breakfast to make, Ground Chuck and Eggs done scrambled medium,(that means, not so dried out as to become a coaster for the coffee cup!) Of course, a coaster was what I received. Then I chose the Hash Browns instead of Country Potatoes; now I haven’t a clue in the world what you can do to screw up hash browns, but whom ever did the cooking found a whole new way to do just that! Not only were the hash browns dark and ugly looking, but the taste was all wrong, maybe they were spoiled potatoes, I don’t know but I couldn’t eat them at all. The Hamburger paddy was just okay with some grilled onions on top, but not flavorfully seasoned at all, so I covered it with salt and ketchup to give it some flavor, so far it was the only eatable thing on the plate. Now to be fair, today’s experience is not typical for Peg’s, of the many visits to Peg’s, we’ve only had two or three bad meals there. As always, the coffee and sour dough toast they serve with the breakfast was excellent. The bottom line, I will not order this item from the menu again, and I don’t know if I can trust the hash browns as a breakfast potato option. I guess we’ll take a vacation from Peg’s for a while, at least until I can forget today’s experience.

Watery syrup, unfriendly waitress, lipstick on water cup. Expensive for what you get. I give it one star for a clean bathroom. Will not go again.

The best breakfast restaurant in Roseville! The owner cooks almost everything from scratch. Our waiter Cordell was awesome! We asked what some of the favorites are. He gave us quite a list. I had the tamale and eggs. Tons of great food for the money! I highly recommend this restaurant! Ask for Cordell as your server. Best service.

Portions are generous! Enjoy the pictures! It tastes as good as it looks! I originally came here for the Hawaiian breakfast when they first opened up.(Thank you Fred and Joann for giving us 1 California location.) Now I’ve been venturing to other dishes. Everything has been yummmm. With that, I have been confident about trying new breakfast twists. Service is fast and friendly — so let’s give credit to the cooks who get the orders right, working the line efficiently for the wait staff to get the goods out to all us hungry folk! How would they earn their 5th star with me? … Being that rice is already served in the«Aloha» menu section. I would LOVE it if the menu was expanded just a bit more offering breakfast fried rice. All the ingredients exist… it’s just a matter of putting it together and serve it on a skillet like many of their other ethnic skillet combination dishes! If you agree… please vote. Maybe it will get noticed!

This is our favorite weekend breakfast/brunch spot. The service is always excellent and the food is consistently delicious. Every time we come here, we both try a new item on the menu. I can honestly say that EVERYTHING I’ve tried is so good. We are definitely usuals here!

Finally got around to trying this place out. I am going to be totally honest right now and tell you I can’t remember what I ordered. But I think that says a lot about the place right there. It wasn’t very memorable. To me, it was another mom and pops shop down the street. We sat outside and that was nice. But I don’t think I can really pump anything else up about the place. The waitress was sweet and I love that they allow pups to sit outside with owners.

So good! Wait wasn’t that bad for 10;30 on a Saturday. Once seated, the waiter(a very nice, enthusiastic man) was helpful and got our orders to us. Monte Cristo, not like we normally have had, but big portion and yummy! Club sandwich was HUGE! We split it, fresh flavor, added cheese and the fries were good also. Kids meals were a great size and price. Biscuits and Gravy – yumm! Overall was a great meal with family and a reasonable price! We will go back next time we’re up there!

I had moderate expectations going in(as I feel Unilocal reviews in GB/Roseville tend to be falsely elevated much of the time), but we got seated at the bar immediately, the waitress and other staff were extremely nice and attentive, and the food was delicious and fresh!!! Usually the fruits and vegetables at diners are weak, but this place has surprisingly fresh produce! We got the Hawaiian breakfast(mmmm fried spam) and the corned beef hash and eggs dishes and both were on point. I’ll be sure to take people here again!

I could probably give this place 5 stars. But I think 4 stars is more realistic. Let’s see, customer service is great. Priced reasonably. The food is really good. Lots of flavor, well seasoned, comes out quickly and hot. It’s nice to get a good mix of American and Hawaiian food. Plenty of options to choose from. And not overwhelming of options either. Depending on the time of day, this place can get super busy. We like to come closer to 12pm about brunch time. The wait is usually not too long. Short and sweet review on this one. When we are thinking about a good sit down place in Roseville for breakfast or brunch, we usually come here.

Peg’s Glorified Ham N Eggs is just what it is — a Diner — with diner style tables & chairs, a counter, booths, tableware, etc and a great team of people working hard to ensure your satisfaction. Nothing fancy going on here at all — so bring your hungry stomach and if you have one, park your attitude at the door. If you’re looking for a decent breakfast place that is customer focused, clean and friendly, this popular spot will not disappoint. Just know that the wait for breakfast on the weekend could be rather long as everyone is trying to get in. Great place for groups, families, noisy children and the morning after. Enjoy!

Quality breakfast diner spot. Stopped in on the way to running errands in Roseville — the location was convenient. Coffee was pretty good, service was fast(given the weekend rush when we stopped in) and the sourdough toast was a standout… big, thick, buttery slices of goodness. Menu is traditional diner with some Hawaiian and Mexican twists thrown in. We had the Sierra Omelet and Chile Relleno Omelet. You definitely get your money’s worth with portions here, so bring your appetite! Both meals came with crispy hashbrowns and sides of lukewarm beans topped with unmelted cheese(a disappointment) and their housemade coleslaw, which was light and refreshing. Meals came out in giant metal skillet pans, which was odd with the long handles and the mini two-seater table we were seated at. Luckily we were able to turn the long handles in just enough as to not cause an accident with the waiters that were buzzing by. Both our meals were delicious and filling and our coffee cups were kept full. I also noticed how dog friendly their outdoor patio is. Bonus for a sunny weekend day.

This is one of my favorite breakfast places. I love the loco moco drowned in siraccha! Their menu has generous portions with either a Mexican, Jewish, or Hawaiian inspired choices. The service is great even though they are always slammed. Friendly staff! Good food! What more could you want?

First time here for breakfast and I have to say this place is awesome! I had the Hawaiian breakfast and it was truly ono and my wife had the Monte Cristo and she loved it. If you have never been here… you have to come. Our waiter Cordell was excellent and the owner Jewell was warm and inviting. We will be back!

Pre road trip breakfast on a recent Sunday morning. With many places to choose from on the path from here to there, we decided to eat close to home and then hit the road, belly full. I love breakfast but it’s also the one meal I rarely indulge. When I do, my intentions are good to keep it lite. Then impulse takes over and my mind races as I read through the menu. Along with the regular breakfast options, Peg’s has added some unique options including many benedicts(vege, steak, chorizo, turkey & avocado, …) and some Hawaii inspired dishes. On the drive to breakfast, I had already decided that my lite breakfast would be 2 eggs over medium, sourdough toast, and some fruit. That decision stood until the moment words came from my mouth when ordering. Here’s what happened: ME. * Fried Spam & Eggs with white rice and grilled onions and bell peppers, with macaroni salad. HER. * Spinach Omelet, no cheese, and fruit. I don’t what came over me but, frankly, I was not at all disappointed with my decision. I like it when breakfast is presented with a properly cooked over medium egg — the kitchen made me proud on this morning. The yolk flowed over the rice as I cut into the egg. It has been years since I’ve had Spam(a memory from childhood) and this fried Spam deliciously salty. The macaroni salad was divine and not even close to anything packaged. The omelet looked great and I helped myself to a couple bites. Fresh spinach and egg — simple and delicious. So glad that we(me) indulged in breakfast here — a return visit is in the future.
