I went to this restaurant after walking the Roswell mill trail, and it was a perfect lunch to hang out and relax on the second floor balcony. The food was delicious, atmosphere was really nice, and the servers were super friendly. Definitely recommend this place.

I am a huge fan of Roswell Provisions and I was delighted to discover Le Bistro just above it. I met some friends for lunch and it was warm enough to sit on the balcony outside. What a view for people watching and enjoying company with friends! My friends ordered three of the quiches to share, and loved every one of them. I ordered La Salade du Poulet sandwich, which was on a fresh baguette and simply phenomenal. Even though we were so full, we couldn’t resist ordering 3 cupcakes to share, and that was definitely the right decision. :) The only thing that kept me from giving this place 5 stars was the service. Our particular waitress did not seem to want to serve us and simply took forever to take our order. Other than the service, everything was wonderful and I cannot wait to return!

Great place for lunch; sitting on balcony is a nice change from other places in the area. Le grand bleu is a great appetizer. The strawberry shortcake for dessert is not to be missed. The coffee, however, is not good at all.

Canton St is amazing place to explore. I brought my mom and grandma here for Mother’s Day. The food was good especially the meat plate but pretty expensive. I enjoyed the scenery but the place itself is shabby. This was a nice experience but I will not be back. The quiche was decent.

Went here and sat on second floor patio on a nice winter day. It’s really nice and relaxing, my salade Nicoise was excellent and my wife had a French dip sandwich had great bread and the roast beef was delightful . Highly recommend. Will come back.

Location of this place is what brought us there! They are located on the second floor of the building with a gorgeous terrace overlooking gorgeous, busy Canton street. Food was a big surprise! Presentation, flavors, prices — everything was AMAZING! We loved the ambiance. Definitely coming back and recommending to friends.

Very nice place! Pretty casual. On weekends, they have live music. The food is great, although portions are on the smaller side. My husband and I like this place for a casual date night. Very unique place. They have a store/coffee shop downstairs too. Definitely worth checking out

How do I even begin to express my love for Le Bistro? Sitting in the converted house on a bustling sector of downtown Roswell brings to mind old world charm and grace. My girlfriends and I went on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at 1pm and the restaurant was not busy at all. Located on the second floor above Roswell Provisions, we got a table in a dining room with lots of natural light. If the weather were warmer, we surely would have requested a patio table so we could take in the hustle and bustle of downtown Roswell from above. Service was amazing and attentive. The staff was completely tolerant of my group of friends who can sometimes get a little loud when excited. :) We sampled a lot of things on their menu but our favorites dishes were the spinach vegetable quiche, croque Madame with fried egg on top, and the ham crêpe. I absolutely could not get enough of their side of ratatouille but did not especially care for the French onion soup. It tasted too much like alcohol, which might be a bonus for others! The chicken salad sandwich would have been good except that it came on super toasted sourdough bread. I think if the bread was different, I would have liked it better. The BEST part about Le Bistro are their amazing desserts and coffee. Coffee comes out in adorable mugs and saucers and pairs so well with all their baked goods. The brownie sundae was delectable. Our favorite though? The strawberry shortcake. It was the perfect amount of sweetness paired with light airy whipped cream and vanilla bean ice cream. It really stood out because they use a pound cake variation instead of typical shortbread. I am still dreaming about his strawberry shortcake!

This place is a beautiful ‘French country’ restaurant on Canton St. It is ‘upstairs’ over Roswell Provisions. The menu is pure French with quiche, salads, sandwiches, soups, and weekend specials. We had let Cyril know that mussels were sounding good, so he made them for us as the weekend special. Fantastic! The wine/cream sauce was amazing. The mussels were perfect! My daughter had the beef stew and loved it– perfect dish on a chilly January night. It’s so wonderful to have locally owned restaurants who will do things like this for you. Thanks Cyril!

This place is certainly a little hidden gem of Canton Street! When entering, you head up a short flight of stairs to the restaurant area above Roswell Provisions(which I believe has the same owner.) Immediately you notice that the building has the historical feel that many of the businesses on Canton Street have and I personally love. The place is simply, yet beautifully decorated and outfitted. The décor and furniture feel very early 20th Century French which perfectly corresponds with the restaurant menu, building and definitely adds to the overall appeal of the establishment. As a bonus, everything around you is for sale so if something strikes your fancy, inquire about it! Once arriving at the top of the stairs you are greeted by the hostess and quickly seated. Both times I have been, I was seated at the same table in the so called«private room» and the restaurant was not very full so I had a nice, quiet meals with my partner. However, every table in the restaurant appears to be comfortably apart from other tables so that any place in the restaurant could afford you with a private experience, even if the place was packed. Enough about the ambiance and décor– let’s get to the food! Both meals we had here were absolutely delicious. For the dinner experience we started with the Le Plateau de Fromage, which was a charcuterie plate of about 3 meats and 3 cheeses, a few baby gherkins, french mustard, candied walnuts, a strawberry or two, and of course fresh bread. I could have made a meal of that alone, as I am a meat and cheese fanatic. For our entrees we got the Le Croque Madame accompanied by a bowl of French Onion Soup. The food arrived in a cast iron skillet, which being the clumsy girl inclined to knock her plate into my lap, I appreciated. The sandwich and soup were generous portions, so don’t worry about not having enough. The sandwich was completely delectable, rich, creamy, fresh. The only drawback was the sandwich was quite messy. Unless you eat it solely with a knife and fork, look forward to licking some of the goodness off your hands. The soup was wonderful as well, great flavor and the cheese inside went perfect. The Cotes de Rhone wine was the cherry(or grape should I say) on top of our meal and accompanied it well. For our lunch experience we started with the Le Plateau de Fromage again which absolutely did not disappoint and featured a different selection of meats and cheeses from the first time. This go around we opted for different meals, I had the Quiche Lorraine and my partner had the La Crêpe de Saumon. My quiche was the hit of the meal. It was perfectly cooked, eggs were creamy and moist and the crust was crunchy, not over done, great flavor, and a generous portion! My partner’s salmon crêpe was very well done, despite not being the shining star. The salmon and goat cheese were very fresh and the portion was large. To drink with our meal we both had coffee, which was good, but nothing to write home about. Overall, I love this place. The atmosphere is romantic, quiet, and you almost feel like you might have stepped back in time to a 1920’s French Café. Of course the real reason to come again and again is the food. Everything is completely amazing and freshly prepared. So if you’re looking for a place to go for a delicious French meal, good service, and great atmosphere definitely check out Le Bistro!

Went looking for a place to get dessert after dinner, and came across Le Bistro. After looking around Roswell Provisions and seeing the extensive dessert menu, we followed the music and headed upstairs. It was pretty quiet up there for 8pm on a Saturday. We opted to sit in the bar area(which was very small) to keep an eye on the football game, but also hear the music. We had the profiterolles(sp?) and the Kahlua brownie, both which were enormous. If we came back, we would definitely get one to split! The bartender was an excellent server, and we enjoyed our after-dinner treat.

A friend and I went to have lunch in the little Bistro yesterday. It is very cute and we enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony and looking down on Canton Street. We hat the soup(spinach) which was excellent, and Crepes, which were very disappointing. No flavor at all besides very salty! I am not sure if I will give it an other try!

Came here around 9:30PM after having dinner elsewhere on Canton St. They had a guitarist playing live music and we were seated on the front porch(so unfortunately we could barely hear the music). The place is super cute and it was a nice spot to get a dessert or drink before heading home for the evening.

Just upstairs from Roswell Provisions(through the door just to the left), the space has been redranded from its Party Chic days into a Parisian street café. I miss French food. Having spent two summers there, I often reminisce about the simple but tasty flavors I encountered at the charming, family owned restaurants throughout the country. Having heard from my BFF about this place, I knew that I’d want to try the classics. I opted for the Croque Monsieur(grilled ham and cheese with bechamel sauce) with the side salad(for $ 3.50 more). This place isn’t cheap, but the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The flavors were simple but solid — nice ham and cheese, creamy bechamel, crisp greens, citrus-tarragon vinaigrette to add tang. The presentation seemed a little much(everything was served in a cast iron skillet with a shot glass on the side of the vinaigrette). On our second occasion, I got the Nicoise salad — seared tuna, potato, green beans, olives, over greens with vinaigrette. Still served in a cast iron skillet. So tasty and fresh. Makes me wish they made a Salade Lyonnaise since I know they would knock it out of the park. Nice, upscale but still casual lunch place.

I hosted my best friend’s baby shower here and could not have been happier with how everything turned out. First off, Lorry(who I believe is one of the owners) went above and beyond to help me plan the perfect shower. We rented one of their private rooms, which they will set up in just about any configuration you want based on the event. Rooms cost $ 50 for a 3-hour increment which includes set-up and cleaning and they also give you an hour to set up beforehand. For our shower with about 15 guests they had three tables with chairs for people to sit and eat, a sofa with a couple armchairs for opening gifts, a table for gifts, a small table for the diaper cake and then an area where they set up the food. Everything fit perfectly and was decorated impeccably. The entire restaurant has a rustic, French country vibe. They even personalized the tables by adding blue accent tablecloths under the white ones. They will also let you bring in any outside decorations and set up an hour before your event. As for the food, the have a couple different menu options(buffet, desserts only, etc.). We ordered a few items from the a la carte buffet menu and then added a cupcake tower. They have their own cake company so the cupcakes/cakes are what you would expect of a specialty bakery. I told them what my friend’s colors were and what the baby’s name was and they even personalized the cupcakes for us(see picture)! The items we selected for the buffet were the cheese tray, croûton nicois(caprese salad on a croûton), spicy beef meatballs, and chicken salad sandwiches. EVERYTHINGWASDELICIOUS and the presentation couldn’t have been better. All-in-all I can’t recommend Le Bistro and Roswell Provisions enough for a private event or simply for lunch/dinner. Wonderful addition to the neighborhood!

Great food. Great attitude. But the service appears to be in the training mode. Looks tennis mom-y, but has some really hearty entrees. Give it a try, and give it time.
