This place is our favorite Chinese restaurant in RLB. My husband orders chicken lo mein and I always get the pot stickers for my meal. Their shrimp eggroll is great too. It’s so easy to order on line and the food is always hot when we get it home!

Their food is average, their service stinks and they are argumentative with customers. And, be aware that if you order delivery, they write all your credit information down and give it to the driver to compare to your card when it is delivered. They do this for«my security». Really, writing my info on a piece of paper and giving it to a driver? I’ll be cancelling my card tonight. Don’t waste your time, money or risk your credit on this place

Went there for the first time. …it is clean and they are very friendly. I ordered shrimp & vegetables and was pleasantly surprised at the jumbo shrimp. The food was very tasty… I will go back again very soon!

We have been to Long Feng many times over the last few years. Unfortunately I have to say, after eating there recently, the quality has definitely gone done. Food bland and soggy. My service was ok, but we were there on off hours. Very sad as we had enjoyed it for a long time.

It’s your typical greasy Chinese takeout. The best feature is their online ordering system for takeout or delivery. It simplifies the process and leaves no room for error. The food is pretty good and they rarely have a long wait.

Best Chinese food in Round Lake. I usually stick to the Hunan Beef or the Singapore rice noodles, which I can’t recommend enough. Very spicy by default so keep this in mind when ordering. Crab rangoons were pretty good but the Mango smoothie I had was mostly water and just didn’t taste right. Pretty friendly staff, overall a great place to satisfy your cravings.

Let me start by saying that delivery for Chinese food in the round lake area is slim. I placed an order for delivery which they had a $ 25 minimum and $ 3 delivery charge. I ordered two large hot and sour soups, a large orange chicken extra spicy, and a beef fried rice extra spicy. My meal was $ 32 with tax. Hot and sour soups: nice large size average tasting at best Orange chicken: large serving but not spicy as requested and was mostly breading not much chicken. The chicken that was there had a foul taste. Beef fried rice: beef was pinkish in color and extremely chewy. The beef tastes horrible and the rice had a yellow tone as such from a Mexican restaurant. PS: no condiments such as soy sauce hot mustard was given but maybe you have to ask??? I would not order from here again. The cost was high and the food was below average.

Chicken tastes like fish. Chicken egg roll was soggy and mushy. Coconut smoothie tastes like it may contain sunscreen. The only positive I have from my experience was the staff. They were all extremely nice.

Normally, I’m not so critical of a cheap Chinese take-out joint, but I am irked, so bear with me. My husband and I had heard from a few friends to check Long Feng out. That it was delicious and cheap, the perfect combination. Great! My favorite combination! They didn’t mention, however, that they completely lacked common sense — especially when it comes to customer service. Keep in mind, this review is based on three experiences, not just one. Each time we called in the order, my husband got there about 5 minutes before the order was supposed to be ready. We live pretty close. Each time he waited about 20 more minutes to get the food. Okay, fine. Maybe they were backed up every time we ordered. When he went up to pay the first time we ordered, the lady behind the counter snatched the card out of his hand, swiped it, then SLAMMED it on the counter. He signed, took the food, and left silently. The second time, it was a younger girl behind the counter and when she handed him the giant box of food(we ordered 3 things), he looked confused, and she said«sorry, they didn’t know how to wrap the fried rice.» We had ordered the pineapple seafood fried rice. It came in a hollowed out half of a pineapple. Now really, of someone is ordering take-out, wouldn’t you just put it in a container? Why in the world would you shove half a pineapple in a cardboard box, filled with fried rice? It wasn’t even wrapped! It got everywhere! The third time we ordered, everything went okay, except the card slammer was back. And she did the same thing, all while yelling at the girl on the phone who seemed to be trying to take an order… The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because the food tasted pretty good. So there’s that.

There’s not many Chinese restaurants in the area, but Long Feng is better than the rest. I prefer to dine-in, have always received prompt service and never had a problem with anything ordered.

Alright so great food. Employees are very slow i ordered a simple bubble tea took 25 minutes. If you go you will realize its basically a daycare because they bring their children and when i went they made a little girl work who was sick so terrible service but great food.

Not so good! The place food is pretty bad, ingredients are definitely not fresh and both wife and I got sick of what we had. If you like Mings revenge go for it!

I absolutely love this place! I will go in for takeout but I don’t call ahead and wait time is only like 15 minutes. You can eat in as well but most of their business is takeout. They do have a «diet» section which is perfect for me and it’s so yummy. I get the mixed veggies with shrimp. Always phenomenal. For the regular menu I would recommend their sweet & sour chicken or Kung Po chicken or beef. They have«chef’s special» section which is normally what I order from. If you like spicy, their spicy dishes will definitely satisfy.

I had the Cashew chicken and teriyaki chicken on a stick. Not impressed at all. Cashew Chicken was soggy and tasted bland. With all that oil you expect the taste to leap out at ya but nope just bland. Teriyaki chicken was ok but again not impressed. Wouldn’t order here again. And to top it off the delivery lady didnt include plastic utensils ha thanks alot lady.

I always enjoy the food here. Today for lunch I had the Empress Chicken, chicken fried rice, and an egg roll for $ 5.95. The Empress Chicken is very good. Lots of fresh vegetables and just the right amount of heat. Usually I get white rice, but today I opted for the chicken fried rice. Most restaurants throw in tiny little pieces of diced up chicken. These were long strips of white meat. Very impressive. The egg roll was standard. Overall, this is a solid lunch choice. For $ 5.95 I get more food than I can eat at one sitting. Long Feng offers generous portions of good food, at a reasonable price. What more could you ask for?

Wow! I have always had grest food here, probably being the best Chinese food in all of Lake County. Im kind of surprised at the negative reviews, as our food has always been consistent… and consistently good. We love their potstickers, egg foo young, sweet and sour chicken, and beef and peapods. Fried rice is delicious and as always, there are tons of leftovers! Their décor isnt fantastic, their customer service is ok-good at best. But id take good food over a smile any day of the week.(Both if possible, but nevertheless…)

TERRIBLE customer service! I used to go here and I had a terrible experience after canceling my order literally two minutes after placing it because I had a family emergency. I was very apologetic and the girl was rude about it, asking me twice why, informing me that to make sure it never happens again, claiming the food was ready and waiting. Their loss. We discovered CHINACITY and it’s way better!

Absolutely ridiculous!(I write a lot of reviews and mostly positive.) Long feng’s behavior was uncalled for. Our first time ever ordering and I should of listened to the negative reviews I had read. We ordered delivery. After we ordered, we get a call back that the credit card only did a partial payment, it was a debit card and we were confused. We look online at our bank account and saw they charged the card THREE times, one of the charges was reversed, but still charged double. It overdrew the account. We call back and speak to the manager, a very unfriendly Asian woman who argues with us and then just abruptly hands over the phone to the young lady, stating«I’m done» My husband even drove to the restaurant after we got our food, showed his bank statement online in real time and the woman refused to void the second charge. She said to come back in a few days. This is NOT how you treat any customer. If we do not get a refund we will report them to the Better Business Bureau. Plus, we may get an overdraft fee that manager said she refused to pay as well.

Went here last night and ordered the General Tso’s chicken with chicken fried rice. The general’s was surprisingly delicious. It has a light fried tasted and is not completely deep fried to oblivion. Also, the chicken is white meat. The sauce was just perfect and I really couldn’t think of one complaint. I also had the Crab Rangoon and Steamed potstickers. The Crab Rangoon was superb as was the dumplings. If I had a reason why not to give five stars. It would be the décor/ambience of the restaurant itself. This is definitely not the place for a «nice» night out. TV was tuned to Futurama and was quite loud. There were also the owners little kids playing at two tables with their toys everywhere. This didn’t really bother me. I really enjoyed the food and my dining experience, but thought I’d mention it to anyone else who might be contemplating going here for a nice dinner.

Worst bubble tea ever. There was seriously like a pound of sugar in there. The tapioca was rock hard. Gross. Didn’t try the food, doubt I ever will.
