Despite its small look on the outside, the inside is actually quite cozy. It’s a bit of a hassle pulling in and out from Rt 83, but I’d recommend coming from Rollins Road. I ordered sweet and sour chicken with Wonton soup, and my girlfriend ordered the Egg Drop Soup and the Chicken Teriyaki dinner special. The plates and dinnerware was all very nice and felt like good quality. With a soda and a water the total came out to be $ 17! All the menu items are awesomely priced and the food you get is definitely worth the money. As we sat down and ordered, all of our food was out in less than 5 minutes. Super fast but each bite was super fresh. There was no problem ordering and communication was perfect. My only complaint was that it was a bit bland but still had super taste. Also the sweet and sour sauce was a bit more sweet than it was sour. Overall, I’d definitely come again to check out their huge menu.

Not bad. I agree fried rice needs more flavor. Tried the asian soup with the beef but the beef was all gristle and fat. Only two pieces good meat. But broth was tasty and noodles were good. We tried the gluten free noodle option they offered. Lunch specials are good.

I don’t know why the low reviews, honestly this place is pretty good, not the best, but certainly better than the hibachi grill across 83. Fried rice was a little bland, but everything else was good(General tsos chicken, sesame chicken, beef lo mein, coconut shrimp, and crab ragoons).

With a name like Super Taste, I was hoping for more than they deliver. We originally intended to eat in the dining room, but ultimately ended up bringing the food home. Sauce packets, napkins, and cheap plastic forks, as well as water and tea are available self serve in the dining room. Unfortunately the water is room temperature; and when I asked for ice I was told they didn’t have any. Additionally, they have nothing but sugar for the tea, so if you are looking any other sweetener you are out of luck; and if you want chopsticks you have to ask for them. As for the food, most of it was either overly salty(with no other flavor) or completely bland. Fried dumplings are usually pan fried, crispy on one side and tender on the other. Unfortunately, these dumplings were crunchy on both sides and the predominate flavor was salt. The wonton soup was also more salty than flavorful. The cashew chicken was completely devoid of flavor, and some of the vegetables in it were overcooked to the point of being mushy. The pork mei fun was also overcooked and flavorless. The only reason that I gave this place 2 stars is that the orange beef(which we ordered mild) was actually pretty good. The beef was tender and the sauce was flavorful. Although the pieces clumped together, it was the one bright star amid a bunch of below average chinese food.

Ordered take out here today and it was very good and a good value. Stuck to the basics and ordered egg rolls, Beef Chop Suey, Beef Fried Rice, Beef with Mixed Veg, Egg and Foo Young. My Wife and Mother in Law are tough Chinese Food critics and they both said it was good food, not the best they ever had but no complaints. The weakest of the choices was the the Fried Rice as it was a little dry but the beef in it was tasty good. The sauce in the Beef w/veg tasted fine not bland. I’m not sure why the other reviews were so hard on this place but my family would certainly try Super Taste again.

Called in an order for an egg roll and sweet and sour shrimp and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. The egg roll had no taste. The sweet and sour shrimp was just awful!!! The batter on the shrimp was VERY thick and hard as a rock. The shrimp was so tiny, I could not even taste it. I actually feel sick after eating this. I will never go there again.

This place needs to change its name to No Taste. Round Lake Doesn’t have any decent Chinese take out restaurants, so I was hoping this new business would change all that. I got my hopes up for nothing. I ordered a few different dishes, but each one was disappointingly bland. The chicken in one of my dishes was like flavorless rubber and the fried rice also had no flavor. The egg foo young was overcooked and was served with a thick brown gravy that only tasted of flour. The crab rangoon was all cream cheese and had little to no crab in them. It has been a while since I have had such a poor experience with Chinese take out. I went in hoping Super Taste would be the saving grace of Round Lake. I came away with one of the worst take out experiences I have ever had in Lake County.

I really don’t know what to say about this place but goodness SEASON your food! Very bland! No flavor, shrimp over cooked, noodles over cooked, and crab rangoon had no crab in it. None! You just opened I thought for sure you would put your best foot forward and the food was awful! My 3 year old wouldn’t even eat it and he loves Chinese food. Please season your food and my god stop over cooking it. The shrimp were mush and so were the noodles. I really was hoping for a good experience. I will not be giving you another chance. Sorry and good luck.
