Really good drinks and awesome service. There wasn’t a huge selection, but the drinks were prepared really well.

Don’t forget to use the checkin deal! I did… The Bambu special is their best selling drink. Love the big coconut chunks in it and the green jelly. It’s a go-to if you’re looking for a refreshing drink with a lot of texture. #3 is my next recommended drink if you like lots of fruit in your drink. I love the coconut slices. Become a four stars member because they give you a lot of special offers! I’ve also tried their strawberry slushy and #6. Everything is really delicious. Cash only if you’re spending less than $ 8.

RUDEWORKER! I have always loved the Vietnamese desserts here at Bambu but after experiencing what I just did today, I don’t think I’ll ever be coming back again. The lady that was working the register was too busy talking on her phone when I went up to the cash register to let her know that I spilled my drink on the ground. You would think she would offer a mop or towel but INSTEAD she just told me to use the napkins that were on the counter and have me clean it up myself. I mean, I am totally fine with cleaning up my own mess but the fact that she went back to finishing her conversation as if nothing has happened just ticked me off! Even my friend was surprised by her attitude. Completely unacceptable. The drinks may be good but it’s always a worker’s attitude that determines whether a customer will come back or not. Never again.

BAMBU has delicious Vietnamese inspired dessert drinks that everyone should try at least once! I first came here out of curiosity after seeing some friends post pictures on snapchat. It was intriguing to me to see all sorts of colorful toppings. After trying #6, I was hooked. It was love at first drink. My go to’s are #1 and #6. #6, my personal favorite, is a little sweeter, has a coconut milk base and LOTS of fruits(hence why the drink is named Fruit Addict). Lychee, longan, palm seed, jackfruit, coconut… you name it. #1 is the BAMBU Special and has a coconut juice base with longan, coconut, pandan jelly, and basil seeds. Perfect if you want a refreshing drink. Because there’s so many ingredients, it ends up being pretty filling! I am in love with this place. Will definitely go back for many years to come.

Very chill atmosphere with friendly staff and they were willing to answer questions. I got #6 Fruit Addict and it was delicious. Reminded me of Southeast Asia.

Bambu is usually busy with people streaming in and out. It is on the northeast corner of Fullerton and Colima, located in the same strip mall as the beef bowl. Place was clean and the service was standard. The dessert drinks are great! Refreshing with lots of fruits and different types of jelly. The last time i went, the large specialty drink(#6) was $ 6. Dessert drink: 4.5÷5($ 6, a great dessert) Bathroom: 4⁄5(Single unisex room, but they keep it clean) Value: 3.5/ 5 Parking: 2⁄5(The lot is too small to accommodate all the businesses. The parking spaces are also very narrow. Friday or Saturday night parking situation is a 1⁄5)

My favorite is the bambu special. I always add the red tapioca(no extra charge) My husband likes #10, and he is not much of a coconut person. I tried the chamango. It was too sour for my liking. Parking is a b*#%!

Talk about the new prices! It’s ridiculous how much it costs just to eat dessert. The number one special is now $ 6 or around there. The economy is fluctuating, yet the prices just keeps increasing! -.- Although I disapprove of these prices, I am still a regular at Bambu! I guess the taste is what draws me back every single time… Honestly, I can not get over the pandan jelly. I always order number 1, or you can say«house special». I love the combination of the pandan jelly, coconut juice, coconut, and basil seeds! Vietnamese desserts are hands down the best type of desserts in this universe! My favorite employee?! Kristy/Nhi! She’s very sweet, friendly, and accommodating! Need any help with the menu?! She’s got it all! I just love her! You don’t just meet people like her anywhere! :) gosh. Writing this review just makes me want to come back already!

3.5 Stars Bambu desserts are pretty good for what it is. If you love the desserts from Vietnamese restaurants, you’ll be a fan. –Passion fruit — they emphasize on fresh and real fruit by filling the cup with passion fruit seeds. It is sour and yummy, but can be a pain in the butt to drink after you get tired of chewing on the crunchy seeds. –Forgot the name, but it had coconut, green jelly, and red bean — their layered desserts are all good. My favorite part is the green jelly. The reason why I wouldn’t give them a full 4 stars is due to the fact that I get tired half way through of every drink that I tried there. Maybe too sweet? It’s a good place to grab a «drink» if you didn’t eat enough for dinner, but it may be too much if you’re very full.

Love the pandan jelly here! Its so fresh and perfect texture. I would describe it as a long strand of boba. The coconut milk is refreshing with the crushed ice. If you’re taking it Togo, I suggest asking for the ice on the side.

Take me back to the exotic island of Thailand! I love coconuts and if you come here, you just have to love coconuts. There’s a lot of great drinks here that I wan7 t to try. I tried number 3&7. YUM. Filled with goodies and not too sweet, which was absolutely perfect! I can’t wait to try the taro smoothie next.

My favorite Coconut drink place! I love their Coconut milk tea. Actually it is not a «milk tea» from my understanding, but who cares? No matter what it is, I love it anyway. Now I’m having a large, but I think I will need another large before I leave this parking lot.

Okay… How did I not know about this place?! My friends and I were looking for a place to grab a drink and hang out after dinner at Honey Pig. The plaza had many choices around and also across the street at Yes Plaza. I am so happy that we settled on Bambu. I have to say, I was a bit hesitant at first since I had never heard of Bambu before or even knew what they sold but once I saw the menu, I was super excited. I love any kind of Vietnamese drinks and the prices here are very reasonable! They even have a stamp card! Buy 9 drinks and the 10th one is free. They do have a $ 8 minimum charge for credit cards though, but this is Rowland so make sure to carry just a bit of cash! With the many choices on the wall and the pictures that accompanied them, it was so hard to decide on which drink to order. I finally settled on #6 Fruit Addict(Coconut Milk with Jello, Lychee, Longan, Jackfruit, Palm Seed, Red Tapioca, Coconut Meat and Pandan Jelly). So delicious! I like that they used crushed ice in the drinks instead of full on ice cubes, smoother consistency. So many ingredients in this drink, totally worth it! No skimping on ingredients here! I didn’t find the drink overly sweet, just perfect! Usually when I go to Vietnamese restaurants, I usually tend to order their drinks but the variety is nothing compared to Bambu. There are a few tables on the inside and out and a couch along the left side near the cash register. Pretty nice place to chill with friends, if there are available seating. The parking is a bit of a hassle, due to the number of restaurants and stores here.

I found this place to be quite average compared to the Che in Westminister. Che is a cold Vietnamese Coconut milk drink/soup that you eat with a spoon and or wide straw, it comes with jellies/fruits/taro/mungbean/tapioca, crushed ice. I ordered a number 6, it tasted watery and the fruit and jelly tasted as if it were soaked in corn syrup, yuck! I could only drink a few sips of the drink and I eventually gave it to someone else. I did love the fresh coconut pieces in the drink, definitely the highlight, but there were only two large pieces and one small one. When I took my drink back to the counter to ask for just coconut and coconut milk, due to the overwhelming sweetness of the fruits and jellys, the nice gentleman, who was actually pleasant otherwise, just handed me a styrofoam cup filled of ice with a tiny bit of coconut milk, more like a shave ice. Not worth the $ 4.50 price tag for something I couldn’t enjoy!

I’m a fan of Viet-style desserts and I’m glad that this place opened close to where I live now! Their flavors are fresh. I’ve only tried their number one but I liked the sweetness of the fruits with the dry tart flavor of the coconut juice. I’m definitely going to try some of their other desserts. Mostly likely any of their bean desserts since that’s what I usually go for. Service is nice though what brings this place down is that when I went the prices on the board were different from the prices on the hand out menu. They need to fix that pronto.

Located in the plaza on Fullerton Rd. and Colima Rd. with the 76 gas station, Yoshinoya, Paris Baguette Bakery, Pizza and Chicken Love Letter, the Galleria Market, and Yummy Hero. This plaza gets slammed, so good luck with parking! I finally had the chance to try this Vietnamese dessert place after hearing such good things about it. Parking was seriously such a bitch on a Friday night(around 8pm or so), though. My friends and I all ordered the #1BAMBU special($ 4.25). It’s essentially coconut juice with delicious complements: Green pandan jelly, strips of coconut meat, longan, slushy crushed ice, & basil seeds. It tasted very refreshing, healthy, and light. I was surprised because I was expecting it to be exceptionally sweet. The hint of sweetness was well balanced and perfect! This quaint little café is quite comfortable, with free wifi, nice servers, and music videos playing on a wall mounted T.V. I definitely need to come back to try their other drinks.

Not bad at all. When we walked in, there was no one at the counter, nor did anyone come out to acknowledge we were there for a couple minutes. I don’t mind for a little bit, as I look at the menu, but we were ready to order with no one in the front. I ordered their pennywort coconut drink, and when I asked for no coconut meat, she gave me the longest stare then inputted that in. I also asked for light ice if possible and she had to loudly say«you want less ice?!» Finally, we got our orders in, and to my surprise, they had an Enplug here where you can post on Twitter/Instagram and get featured in real time on the screen which I thought was cool. Furniture is modern, sleek, and extremely comfy. When orders came out, the lady bagged them and handed to us. Drinks were pretty good, my drink tasted just how my mom makes it and I loved it. My boyfriend got their jasmine drink and thought it was great as well.

They misspelled bamboo. 4⁄5 for effort. I’ll preface this review with: this isn’t my kinda place. I’ve never really liked coconut water. On many occasions, family and friends have all tried to turn me from filtered water to coconut blood. It’s never worked. Here’s no exception. I got the #1. If you’re a coconut vampire, this place is your coconut red cross. I enjoyed the quality of the drink more than the actual flavor of the drink and that’s as close as I’m gonna get to being a coconut chupacabra(chupacoco?). I need to give props to this place, because the drink was incredibly refreshing. Probably one of the better experiences with coconut water. The basil seeds and the jelly were good toppings for this drink, so I didn’t hate the whole drink. And all the while I was drinking it, I could tell that this was good stuff. Just not my kinda stuff, y’know? So, come all who enjoy their water seeping in a bowling ball-esque fruit. Bambu welcomes you.

Didn’t think I’d like this place because I don’t care for Asian desserts. But it turned out pretty good. Tried the #1. It’s longan, coconut, pandan jelly, basil seeds, and coconut juice. I was surprised they used real coconut meat and coconut juice, which I love. The longan syrup kinda made the drink a little too sweet though, but it was still really refreshing and light. Also not a fan of the longan… I kept thinking it tasted like bacon because it had a weird smoky flavor. My friend disagreed but I believe my palette is more sensitive. You can’t convince me it doesn’t taste like bacon! A lot of the drinks include coconut milk. And beans. Not a fan of straight up coconut milk or beans, so the choices I can try here are limited. Come here is you like coconut milk, beans, and gelatinous substances in your dessert.(Asian desserts are strange.) EDIT: I substituted the bacon-flavored longan with grass jelly. MUCHBETTER. It was the perfect drink — not too sweet and super refreshing!
