The drive through girl this morning at 9:00 was so rude and had a bad attitude, she rolled her eyes when I told her my order was wrong and then when I got it, it was still wrong she didn’t tell me my total and didn’t offer me condiments

So I came through the drive-thru after work tonight about 10pm or so. It’s pouring rain! I give my order to the girl on the speaker and she repeated it back, word for word. I then pull up to the window and the guy repeats my order. Again, word for word. A different guy walks up with my order in hand and comes to the window. He also repeats my order back to me, word for word. I give them my card, get my drink, and take off. I get home and there are the ONIONS I didn’t order. Thanks a lot whataburger. Not only that but there were so many my burger still tasted like them. I picked off what I could but it was ruined. That’s not even the best part… ITWASCOLD! It was not made to order!!!

This Whataburger will not make your food like you like it. I like egg white in my BOB and they refuse to remove the yolk. I have asked management and they stated that they will not do that. Other locations follow the well known Whataburger model, so they do fulfill the request of egg white only. But this location says they do not have the tools to do that. Ha. That’s comical. I don’t come here very often, at least not for breakfast. All the other meals are the same as other locations

One of the things I miss most about Texas is Whataburger. Oh how I’ve missed the breakfast taquitos. Thank you for creating these, Whataburger. Had two bacon, egg and cheese taquitos with lots of picante sauce and it was heaven. Very fast drive thru service! We were in and out in a matter of minutes. Please come to California!!!

Decided to try another Whataburger after my last(check my other reviews to see how that went). I got to the location on Lakeview Parkway in Rowlett(across from Walmart) around 8am on a Wednesday. It wasnt’ crowded but I sensed a steady efficiency from the kitchen. Placed my order and sat down. Later somebody brought me my food and also got me some fresher coffee from the drive-through when asked. Excellent customer service.

I think the stars say it… Meh. I’ve experienced better! We came in for a quick breakfast being in the middle of a move. I don’t eat gluten and there was NOTHING on the menu I could eat for breakfast except salad and who wants salad for breakfast? I got an egg & cheese«tacquito»(really a burrito) and just ate the insides all of about three forks full. Certainly NOT worth $ 2.50, I also ordered a side of hash browns which were more like mini tater tots all 5 of them, wowie zowie, such a deal! Speaking of Mexican food, it seems some fast food places don’t know squat about Mexican food. Taquitos are made with corn tortillas, filled with meat, tightly rolled, and fried crispy. Flautas are like mini burritos with just meat made with flour tortillas and fried, similar to Chimichangas which are full sized burritos filled meat, cheese, beans, eggs or whatever. But what the heck, this is Texas filled with Mexicans that should know this, but they don’t!

So I do like Whataburger. The burgers are always good, the shakes are huge and delicious. However, this past time I tried the breakfast. My dad and I were short on time for our usual Sunday after church breakfast and decided to go quick. We ordered a couple egg, cheese and sausage biscuits and got a plate of pancakes and bacon for the little one. They food came out promptly, but unfortunately, the cheese was not on our biscuits. My dad took our food up and the guy at the counter was very apologetic and took it personally. He rushed the correct order out to us, checked back with us several times and even offered us free apple pies. It was the best service I have received at a fast food restaurant ever. We felt so taken care of! The food, of course, was delicious and this place is open 24 hours. A 24 hour place in Rowlett? Super awesome.
