Love the soups! All of them are great! Serving sizes are perfect. Love to stop in here for lunch.

Great service but out of our family of 5, only 2 of us liked the frozen yogurt… which starts at $ 4. Tart for sure and unlike any other frozen yogurt we’ve tasted. Ask for a sample first.

Yogurt is amazing. Ive had the Humphrey for the longest time so yesterday I decided to switch it up! I ended up getting David’s drink which was really good ! For food I got a hot meat melt with turkey & cheddar, it was good but didn’t do anything for me. I think I love this place for the yogurt & I will keep it that way! Plus they have a drive through ! Which is ideal since the parking lot is so small.

Chicken avocado on jalapeño cheese bread was great. Very friendly service and the establishment was very clean. I had the Humphrey with strawberries, bananas, and pineapple. The yogurt was fresh and high quality. Not your typical fro-yo chain. Give this place a shot.

Awesome good and friendly service. The sandwiches and soups are the best around. I always get hot sandwiches because you cant go wrong. The only negative is that sometimes the order speaker doesn’t work but that’s not a problem because they are more than happy to take your order at the window. I haven’t eaten the yogurt at a counter-culture in almost ten years but I remember it being awesome. I think the Humphrey yogart is my favorite. Definitely a great place to go and the prices are pretty cheap.

Counter Culture – One of the hotspots of Ruston. Where you can get deliciously overpriced — key word delicious — healthy yogurts, salads, and sandwiches. I’ve tried the«baby» sized frozen yogurt, all I could afford on my student budget in addition to a sandwich, of cheesecake, red velvet cupcake, peach, and peanut butter. My favorite was cheesecake. The froyo has a tang to it, totally indicating its authenticity. As for sandwiches, get the Avocado sandwich… so good, with sprouts and tomatoes –very fresh. It’s kind of small and about $ 6 but a nice change from subway. I’ve also had the tuna melt, with avocado, and it’s pretty good too, but not really a melt. I wish the prices were better, then I could visit more often since the food is so good. The Humphrey Yogart is supposed to be amazing, with three fruits of your choice, but I haven’t tried it yet since it’s almost $ 5 alone. My friend got a smoothie, almost $ 6! The baby size yogurt is more affordable at about $ 3. This place is almost always packed at lunchtime and the drive thru wasn’t too long of a wait. Go here, especially if you have out of towners or hippe friends.

The Humphrey: tart yogurt base, your choice of three fruits, granola, and honey smeared over the top. Oh. My. God. It is so incredibly good on hot Louisiana day. Just that sweetness and tart all mixing in together with a crunch of flavor… Counter Culture rocks! The food is kind of overpriced, for what it is, but is tasty if you’re hungry. *It’s possible to get your three fruit servings of one type of fruit. All berries, for me!

I love, love Counter Culture. The yogurt is awesome but the thing I love most is the chicken salad. It is amazing!

I’m only in Ruston, LA once a year, but this makes the top of my must stop list. They have great sandwiches with perfect to too large portions and lots of really yummy combos. The breads they use — like a jalapeño and cheese — are a big part of why I like this place. Even if you don’t want a sandwich, you must go here and have a Humphrey! It’s a delicious healthy frozen yogurt with granola, honey and up to 3 fruit choices. Don’t get the blueberries… they’re frozen and just mushy yuck. The grapes and strawberries and peaches are good though! And don’t be surprised when the trains come roaring by!

This review is for the new Counter Culture by the railroad tracks… but the place needed some Unilocal love. The owner was super sweet and thanked all of the patrons for stopping by! Driving around Ruston, you can’t help but see all of the«Counter Culture — NOWOPEN» signs on every corner. It’s like they were running for office for best froyo or something. So on Memorial Day, my Bulldog manfriend and I went to the Counter to grab some sammies. My hot roast beef with swiss and avocado sandwich was yummy! The bread was really fresh and had a hint of honey with its wheat. Later on that day, we rode our bikes back to get our froyo fix! The main thing that CC is known for is their yogurt which actually tastes like real tangy yogurt… and has active cultures. So if you’re expecting TCBY, this definitely ain’t the place for you. I ordered the Humphrey Yogurt… yogurt, granola, honey, three choices of fruit, then more yogurt on top! It was sooooo tasty. He ordered a more manly cup o’ froyo… topped with reese’s pieces and oreos… mmmmmmmmmm! I look forward to going back there the next time I’m in Tech town! The only suggestion would be for some outdoor seating!
