In town for training and this place was within walking distance. I figure IHOP is safe and close. Not impressed. The place was not busy but it was also before 6 on a Monday. The waitress was very sweet and prompt, but my food was just terrible. First, the menu said it came with hashbrowns, none appeared on my plate. Then it was supposed to be a turkey avocado Benny. The turkey had a fishy taste, the eggs were a little funky, the toast dry because there was no where near enough cheese sauce. I should have stuck with pancakes.

I hadn’t been in an IHOP for many years. My son was craving pancakes, and didnt want to wait for me to make them at home. Who doesnt like breakfast for lunch, dinner, or anytime? We love breakfast at anytime. I was hoping to have that same feeling i experienced when my family would head to IHOP for breakfast. The childhood memory wasn’t to be reclaimed. The restaurant is meh, and doesnt have that fresh coffee, or wonderful food aromas wafting through the air. My food rule is that if i can’t smell the food, thats usually indicative of bad food. Hey, its my silly rule based on my experiences in coffee shop type restaurants. Keep in mind, thats what IHOP is. A coffee shop. There were only two waitresses working, but they seemed very capable of handling the lunch crowd. If like me, you havent been to IHOP in a very long time, the menu has changed. They offer a better variety of pancakes, crepes, and waffles. They also have burgers, and other typical coffee shop fanfare. My son ordered a stack of pancakes. The waitress was gracious when my son asked if he could take the plate of 4 pancakes and have two different flavors(buttermilk chocolate chip & red velvet). She had them made the way he requested, and had the kitchen plate the two flavors separately. *bonus points*. The buttermilk/chocolate chip were tasty. The red velvet lacked flavor and they were far too dense. I ordered the chicken crêpe. I had them hold the chicken. The veggies were sautéed and pretty good. The crêpe itself was thick and not what a crêpe should be. The cheese was plastic tasting. This wouldn’t be on my top list of bad choices to make again. If you’re looking for that basic pancake, its a good deal compared to similar restaurants. They have great hours, and fairly quick service.

I came here with some coworkers for breakfast! We were greeted and quickly seated. Our waitress was super sweet and hard working. I apologize for not catching her name. A little Asian lady that went above and beyond to help us in a busy morning! I had your typical breakfast! Eggs, bacon, crispy hash browns, and toast! My friends had something similar with pancakes. Unlimited coffee and chatting with friends makes a nice morning breakfast! This looks like a fairly new(newer) place. Nicely decorated like the others. Very clean. Looks like lots of people come here. A very happening morning! I’d come back to try out their lunch/dinner menu items…

I would like to say my server Veronica was a special treat, her smile and joyfulness in her face made my day. She was well mannered and I didn’t have to ask for a thing. It’s was already there. Overall the food was great as well as her service I will be back!

The cook went from touching the dust pan and the broom to the waffle maker without washing his hands. He thought I wasn’t looking because it was really early in the morning and there wasn’t any customers but I saw him then he proceeded to try to fry the chicken, I’m really disgusted by the way he was making my food, my mother works for consumers affairs and this will totally be heard. LACKOFHYGIENECOULDCAUSEDEADLYPARASITES, it’s such a shame because IHOP is such a big chain, however reckless employees like that guy makes it so unsanitary and skeptical about their food that now I’ll never go to any IHOP and will make sure that my loved ones, friends, and the department of health will know about this. Please be aware

I just stopped in to get a bite to eat and waited at the front to be seated and no one was there to greet me or seat me. The place was dead. There was only one table that had people and the rest were empty. I waited about 10 – 15 min and still no one to greet and seat me. Where are the people working in this place? There should be a person up front at all times! It’s around 10:30pm and a slow time. That means there should be a lot least one person maintaining the front. I would not recommend eating at this place if you are looking for service! Go somewhere else!

This is a nice, clean, and friendly IHOP. Close to at least three hotels. Sure beats the hotel breakfast. I had breakfast, ordering eggs over medium, bacon, hash browns, toast, and coffee. Eggs were great with no runny egg whites. Bacon was crisp and hot. Hash browns a little under done, and toast under buttered. The server did ask me if I want more butter so I can’t complain about the toast I recommend it and will go back when I’m in the area. I gave it four stars for the friendly service and cleanliness. Food is a standard three stars.

Very very slow service and then you get cold food. We have been here for almost an hour waiting for our food and it’s not even that busy. When we got the food, it was super cold as if it had been lying there. Now waiting for replacement. What a completely screwed up IHOP!

It’s what you’d expect in an IHOP, just friendlier and and better than average quality taste. The radio is always tuned to an 80s station, which is fun and retro. It’s rarely crowded, but it’s not a ghost town, either. All in all its a nice restaurant, but obviously not fine dining. It’s your basic, good quality, breakfast-all-day dinner. Definitely better than the Denny’s a block a way.

Went here on a Saturday night after my friends were craving this place for breakfast. I had came here unexpected and water some pancakes. When we walked in we were greeted and got sat down. there was a total 4 of us. we sat at a table and around us was about 3 other tables. it wasn’t a busy night overall. When i opened up the menu i first saw the red velvet pancakes and i already instantly knew what I’m getting. I got the short stack of red velvet pancake with the basic breakfast combo, which came with hash browns, 2 sunny side eggs, and 2 sausages. it was a total of 7.49 before tax. i thought it was a great deal for under 10 bucks. when we all ordered it take about 10 to 15 mins to get done. it seemed like it took a while since it was 4 of us. i think it took long because they wanted to drop the food off all at the same time. anyhow i didn’t really mind the wait. now lets get to the pancake, man was it sooo fluffy and hot and so flavorful without any syrup. to my opinion the red velvet pancakes didn’t really need any syrup at all. i thought the whip cream on top with the red velvet pancake was good enough. the whip cream can be the substitution of the syrup to make the pancake moist and gives a creamy flavor too. to my opinion i think it was ok with the strawberry syrup as well. i don’t think it went well with the butter pecan because it kinda clash. any how thats my different combination i did with the red velvet pancake. the eggs sunny side were on point. the hash browns were golden crisp brown and there wasn’t a lot but it was a perfect portion. the sausages were just normal nothing special. overall i did like the food and it did satisfy me. overall the service was ok. they did come check up on us and refilled water but we did have to mention for it. they were kinda on the slow side too. overall i am fan of the red velvet pancakes and i am still craving it. i know they are here for a limited time only so i will have to go get another craving maybe during mothers day brunch. if you like what you read or if you haven’t follow or add me then do so because it makes my day. lol… more friends the better Unilocal gets. happy Unilocaling! thanks for reading.

Slowest IHOP ever! 45 minutes since I ordered and still no food. People who sat down after us were leaving. They were the smart ones…

The only reason I come here is for the steak tips and eggs. If I learned how to make it I would never come back. My family and I love IHOP but this location needs improvement. The customer service is lacking. And so is the cooking. Why did my eggs have s pocket of water on the yolk? Gross, they even questioned if it should go back. But even the worst attempt at sirloin tips, it’d still so freakin good.

Great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! I love to come here for breakfast the most! It’s a great place for get togethers, great for couples, and great for senior citizens! The busiest time is probably Sunday mornings and families love to eat here after church or just for Sunday gatherings! Service is quick and efficient. Don’t expect the type of service where the employees start a long conversation… The employees have to quick and move from table to table! My favorite dish is the country fried steak meal with hash browns and scrambled eggs. Also, instead of pancakes I order French fries! The country fried steak is juicy, crispy, and full of flavor, especially the white gravy that is poured on the steak! I highly recommend it!!!

Skip this one if you are hungry and looking for something quick. Service was less than bad. Waited forever for our food. Other guests got their food before we did. It’s a shame as there are other IHOPS with way better service and way better food. Skip this one and head next door to Chicken and Waffles or In and Out Burger.

I came here with my buddies after a night at the movies! This place is always a safe bet for an ending to amazing night. This location is in the center of a plaza full of fast food chains and other food places. This location and the Denny’s in the same plaza is the only choice to dine in at this area(you can read my review of Denny’s) but ihop is always the choice for my group. I’ve tried a lot of the menu but during this visit I got some goodies, actually lots of goodies, I’ve attached the photos. The server was very prompt about refilling water, and also brought out more coffee before the pitcher was empty, along with another raspberry lemonade before the first one was done. My buddies always get the pancakes here but every time I get a breakfast deal I always sub the pancakes out for French toast for no additional cost! Check out my pictures, this location is very clean and if you get lucky you might catch some Kings players there after their late night endeavors!

I can appreciate all those attributes. I really enjoy bottomless drinks they have even the iced coffee is bottomless. Try getting that at atarbuxks. Come here for late night and you won’t be sorry.

We made the trip JUST to try the yummy looking new signature pancakes. First, when we got there we waited about 20 mins for a table one a wednesday around 11am. Hmm. Then, I had to go back out to my car for a coat for my daughter… on a 96 degree day. Hello over air conditioning. After another 15 minutes our order was taken. We had iced vanilla coffees and ultimate bacon and sausage breakfasts one with strawberry banana cream pie pancakes, one with blueberry canoli pancakes. Service: Other than the long wait, the service from our waitress was great, considering. She was obviously very stressed and I observed that she had 4 or 5 tables, one of which was at least 12 people, in addition to our table. Poor management! But she was very friendly and sweet. Food: ugh. When our vanilla iced coffee came out, I eagerly slugged down a big gulp hoping for a creamy coffee experience. Instead, I got a gob full of alcoholly flavored vanilla syrup. Apparently they do NOT stir these concoctions for you. When I LOOKED, the vanilla syrup was clearly stratisfied on the bottom and was completely unstirred. The sausage was ok, the bacon think and strangely flavorless. The eggs… whic COULD have been the highlight of the meal because they were perfwvrly cooked and actually delicious were RUINED for me when I found not one, but two human hairs in them. The pancakes were good by themselves, as usual. But that fluffy banana cream pie mouse you see in the commercials is actually grainy liquidy fake banana flavoring pudding. Those fresh scrumptious strawberries? Frozen mush covered in their normal strawberry syrup. Ps. These booths are FILTHY. I want my $ 26 back.

Pancake Revolution = free Rooty Tooty Fresh ‘n Fruity(or anything else worth $ 8.49 on the menu) for my birthday. Done. It truly was a free meal, but I did pay a couple bucks for orange juice and the friendly service. I’m just not that cheap. Breakfast for dinner ftw. They also have AYCE pancakes, currently, which I will definitely return for. P. S. National Free Pancake Day is Feb. 5th, y’all. This location is as dangerously close to home as the IHOP is to my office. I have been known to dine at both IHOPs in the same day. In my defense, I work in a college town so that branch can get pretty crazy busy. Plus this Natomas one is 24-hours, while strangely the Davis one is not.
